Shirley Ann Morris Skinner, 85, of Albuquerque, passed away April 26, 2001. Shirley was born July 31, 1915 in Hopkinsville, KY. She married Elton Robert Skinner in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1972. Her oldest daughter, Jeannie Chadwell also preceded her in death. Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Leland Robert Skinner of Richfield, UT; by her daughter, Janice Caudill of Albuquerque; and by her grandchildren, Lori Chadwell Speelman of Idaho, and Rick Chadwell of Albuquerque, whom she raised as her own. Also surviving are six other grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Shirley spent most of her life living in Albuquerque. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family. She loved flowers and sunsets, and had a wonderful heart that always made room for new friends. Her time on earth is now past and she has earned her eternal rest. Her family will miss her smile and her laugh, as well as her example of perseverance. May Heavenly arms enfold and hold her dear. A special thanks to Delta Hospice and to Angels of Assistance for doing their job in an extremely professional manner. No public services are planned. In lieu of flowers, please say a prayer, or if one wishes make a contribution to Alzheimer's Association. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mrs. Skinner. (891-8200).
