Alice J. Fisher, 66, an Albuquerque resident since 1963, died Thursday, April 26, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Fred W. Fisher of Albuquerque; sons, Kenneth R. Fisher and wife, Susan of Rio Rancho, Harry W. Fisher and wife, Lisa of Alamogordo; daughter, Deborah L. Surdan and husband, Robert of Hillsborough, NJ; grandchildren, Pamela and Troy Fisher, Taylor Fisher, Jimmy Santo, Stacey and Kelsey Surdan and Eric Fisher; great-granddaughter, Allyson C. Fisher; sister-in-law, Myra L. Fisher of Edgewood; sisters, Irene Gorzell, Proxie Gawlik and Agnes Jaskina, all of Texas. A son, Ronald E. Fisher, preceded her in death. Alice was a wonderful wife and mother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2001 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd Chapel with Deacon Candidate Terry Palmer, reciting. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2001 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd, NE with Father Domingo Gumpal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE. Friends may visit on Sunday, April 29, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. until the Rosary at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE.
