Fred Chavez Jr., 47, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on April 26, 2001. Mr. Chavez is survived by his mother, Mrs. Emelda Chavez; his wife, Sandra Tuitoelau; five children, Esther Tuitoelau, Sarah Chavez, Abram Chavez, Nathan Chavez and Tara Chavez; one grandson, Christian Tuitoelau. Mr. Chavez was preceded in death by his father, Fred Chavez Sr. and his brother, Rudy Chavez. Mr. Chavez was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW from 4:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. by his aunt, Logie Sanchez. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Father James Vance, celebrant. Interment will follow in the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sandra Tuitoelau, Esther Tuitoelau, Abram Chavez, Nathan Chavez, Sara Chavez, Bernardo Gallegos and Mario Gallegos. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW in charge of arrangements.
