Justin also served on the Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and as Chairman of Robert Morris Associates of Las Cruces/El Paso. Over the years, he had served on the boards of many organizations, including Memorial Medical Center (MMC), the Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA), the NMSU President's Associates, the Boys and Girls Club of Las Cruces, the MMC Foundation and Accion New Mexico. His parents, Jim and Gladys Harper, predeceased him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bea Harper of Las Cruces and four children: Justin, Jr. of Austin, Keri Ann (Brian) Hulsey of Dallas, Keith (Naomi) Taylor of Phoenix and Larry (Ashlee) Taylor. He was a loving grandpa to Harper Mackenzie Hulsey, Eric Keith (Laura) Taylor, Kaylee Bea Taylor, and Trinity Taylor. Surviving siblings are Trish Harper (Tom) Ford, Larry (Dottie) Harper, Ginnie (Jim) Frederick, Jim (Judy) Galyan, Connie (Lloyd) English, and Roger (Cathy) Story. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bank employees will miss his daily presence. He was committed to making Citizens Bank a wonderful place to work. He believed in supporting employees and making them feel appreciated. In 2014, the Employee Relations Committee was honored to have him as a member and enjoyed his input and wry sense of humor. Justin always made it a point to greet everyone he saw at the bank with a smile. He took great pleasure in handing out anniversary awards at the annual holiday party, and in sincerely thanking those employees publicly for their service and their loyalty to the bank. Although Justin took great pride in all of his business and civic duties, nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family, his children and grandchildren. He was often seen sharing pictures of his youngest granddaughter, Harper Mackenzie. He loved the modern technology perks of seeing her on his mobile phone via webcam, watching her play or sleepthis always made him smile. He always took time to answer a call from his children, as they were the most important people in his life. His family will greatly miss him. A viewing and memorial service was held on Saturday, October 18th, at the NM Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The family requests that donations be made in Justin's memory to the Boys and Girls Club of Las Cruces. Arrangements are in the care of Getz Funeral Home.

WATERS, ROBERT PATRICK Our beloved brother Robert, crossed over to the ever after October 13, 2014, taking with him a piece of our hearts. The bright eyed robust laughter, mischievous grin and unconditional love shall grace our days always. Robert's innocent acceptance, genuine care and concern for all will soothe the still night and warm the quiet morning. We are fortunate to have been favored to share in his journey, rewarded in our hearts for each moment he loved us. Robert was at once himself in the rhythm of rock and roll, alongside the roar of a Harley, captive within a howl for the Lobos and resolute in his admiration for Action Heroes. A sweet man with a sweeter tooth, savoring each satisfaction. A connoisseur of candy and a Sultan of soda. Robert was adored of children, the kindest and most gentle of souls. Pure of heart, uncomplicated and nonthreatening, an ease of honesty toward all. Brother dear brother, we lift our eyes to still see you. Brother dear brother, in our hearts we still feel you. ZIGLER, GILBERT LENK Gilbert (Gil) Lenk Zigler passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at his home in Albuquerque, NM. He was 69 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Patti Bolton Zigler of Albuquerque; son, Bryan and grandsons, Matthew & Mason Zigler of Charleston, SC; his daughter, Andrea Zigler of Philomath, OR; and sister, Marlen Zigler of Koro Island, Fiji. Gil was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1945. He was the son of Brazilian swimmer and World Record Holder, Maria Lenk Zigler, and Daniel G. Zigler of Bisbee, AZ. At the age of 18, he moved to the United States to attend the University of New Mexico where he graduated with a bachelor in Electrical Engineering. He joined the USAF upon graduation and completed his masters in Nuclear Engineering in 1969 at the Air Force Institute of Technology in Dayton, OH. That same year he married the love of his life, Patti, and began his career at Kirtland AFB working on safety analysis of the Pioneer 10 and 11 deep space probes. In 1973, Gil left the Air Force and joined Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) in Lynchburg, VA, where he began his long career in the nuclear power industry. He saw the development of all seven of B&W's nuclear power plants from the early stages of construction through start up. His work on the development of a noise and vibration monitoring system eventually brought him on site at the B&W Three Mile Island plant just hours after the start of the 1979 accident, where he was able to help safely shut down the damaged unit. He continued his long association with the nuclear power industry implementing the diagnostic systems of the Tokomak Fusion Test Reactor at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, participating in the last three underground nuclear weapons tests, providing technical support to Tokyo Electric Power following the Fukushima Daiichi accident, leading the development of NUREG/CR-6224, and working to solve strainer clogging issues for numerous U.S. and international nuclear power plants. Gil was an active committee and board member in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for over 30 years. In 2013, he was made a Fellow of ASME to recognize the exceptional engineering achievements and contributions he made to the engineering profession. In addition to his outstanding engineering career, Gil loved to travel around the world, fish in Alaska and Florida, take cruises with his wife, kids, and grandkids, read historical books, spend time at his cabin in Colorado, take walks with his Welsh Corgis, and tell fascinating stories of his childhood and early career. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 20, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Wild Salmon Center at: (www.wildsalmoncenter.org). Please visit our online guestbook for Gil at www.FrenchFunerals.com.
