ARGEANAS, ALEENE L. Age 85, left us peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 28, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hoff and husband Michael; son, Ted Argeanas and wife Camille; grandchildren, Tina Hoff, Samantha Trujillo and husband Daniel, and Noah Argeanas and wife Annie; great grandsons, Ashton Trujillo and Travis Trujillo. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George T. Argeanas; and brother, Cleo Hallmark. Aleene was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and best friend. A Trisagion will be recited on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Friends may visit beginning at 6:00 p.m. Services will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE. Interment will take place at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Hoff, Tom Argeanas, Richard Auld, Alex Argeanas, Zack Niforos, and Noah Argeanas. BROWNRIGG, CHARLES STUART Charles Stuart Brownrigg, 69, died in Tucson on August 25th. His family, who loved him dearly, include Carolyn, his wife of 47 years; sons Christopher, Clifton and Craig Brownrigg (deceased); grandchildren Angus, Ruby and Max Brownrigg; nephews Kevin and Keith Brownrigg and Alexander, Zachary and Eric Hansen. Charles' parents, Robert Brownrigg and Dorothy (Akin) Brownrigg, and brother, Robert "Bruce" Brownrigg preceded him in death. Charles leaves behind kind and caring friends and family, including the Honorable Sharon Hansen (Ret.), Dr. Karl Hansen, Lorene Brownrigg, Alison Brownrigg, Dana Brownrigg and Courtney Hansen. Charles was born in Pueblo, Colorado and came from a Colorado pioneer family. After college he taught art for Window Rock School District. The family later moved to New Mexico, where he retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2012. The family recently moved to Tucson, Arizona. A private Memorial is planned with burial at Sunset Memorial Park in Albuquerque.

CARLSON, CHARLES WAYNE Age 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Born April 17, 1929, he is survived by his four children, Catherine Carlson Plummer, Krista Carvajal, Cheryl Carlson Altares, and Charles Carlson, Jr. He is also survived by nine grandchildren (Karin, Victoria, Elliot, James, Danielle, Alexis, Timothy, Erin, and Colleen); four great-grandchildren (Madison, Jackson, Cole and Derrick). We all loved him dearly and will miss him so much. Charles attended Gettysburg College, where he met the love of his life, Virginia, who preceded him in death shortly before their 60th wedding anniversary. Charles completed the Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary and a Master of History at University of Pittsburgh. He had a long and rich career as a pastor, teacher and musician. He sang with the Bach Choir in Bethlehem for more than a decade, and performed at Carnegie Hall with the Philadelphia Symphony. He enjoyed many years traveling all over the world with Virginia, and always tried to help those in need. In his retirement he volunteered regularly for Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity. Memorial services will be held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at Tree of Life Lutheran Church, Saturday, September 6 at 10:30 am. ELLERD, WILLIAM AUDY William Audy Ellerd, 86, joined his parents William and Hulda Ellerd, sister Oma Waller, sons Billy Don Ellerd and Jack Ellerd, daughter Carolyn Ellerd, grandson Ivan Ellerd and numerous other relatives on Sunday, August 24, 2014. He was born March 24, 1928 at Abernathy, Texas. He married Nelda Hinson on August 31, 1950. William had five (5) children, six (6) grandchildren and five (5) great-grandchildren. William is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Nelda Ellerd; his daughter Marilyn Townsend (John); his son Bruce Ellerd (Frances); his brother Tully Ellerd; his sister Lillie Verl Moraites; his grandchildren Curt Bilberry, Kierstin Garcia (Phillip), Kyle Townsend, Salina Ellerd (Anthony), Melanie Ellerd; along with his great-grandchildren Brandon Hott, Merissa Torres, Anthony Torres, Isaac Torres, and Damian Garcia. There will be a Memorial Service on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 9:30 am. Location is Copper Point Church at 10500 Copper Avenue, Albuquerque, NM 87123. William was in the Raymond G Murphy VA Hospital in Albuquerque during his last weeks of life. The nurses and doctors on that unit treated him with the utmost respect and thanked him daily for his service in the Air Force. The family would like to thank everybody who cared for William during his stay in the VA Hospital.

JONES, HOWARD MARSHALL Howard, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, was born in Jamestown, NY on March 3, 1933. He passed away August 24, 2014. He is survived by his wife Jean; sons Mark Jones of Albuquerque, David Jones (and wife Joy Torres) of White Rock, NM; his daughter Heather Liming (and husband Stephan,) of Deer Park, TX; his sisters Cara Moore of Rio Rancho and Kathy Jones-Haberman of Manhattan, NY. There are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceding Howard in death are his parents, his daughter Megan Jones and his brother Hoyt Jones. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11am, Saturday, September 13th at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. The family sends sincere thanks to the folks at Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care in Howard's last days. MOSCHETTI, DORALENE 67, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward Moschetti; her daughters, Shelly Moschetti, Patricia Crites and husband, Jerry, and Laura Crites and husband, Charles; grandson, Wayne Crites; and granddaughters, Kayla Crites and Bridget Crites. Doralene "Miss" worked for many years as an EA at Highland High School. She was a longtime member of 1st Baptist Church of Los Lunas. OLONA, ORLANDO R. Orlando R. Olona, Msgt. USAF, Retired 22 years Eccl: 3:1-2 "There is a time for every affair under the heavens -- a time to be born and a time to die. Age 92, Orlando was a part of the "Greatest Generation." He was 20 years old when Pearl Harbor took place. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corp in 1942; served on the Island of Attu, in Alaska; as a crew chief and tail gunner on the B-25 military airplane. In 1946, he met his future wife, Melba Dimas and they married in 1947. He was transferred to Germany and participated in the Berlin Airlift. They were in Munich and Berlin, Germany for four years. They were transferred several times more, including four years in Panama. He retired in 1964, returning to Albuquerque. His legacy is his military history, and he has seen his children and his children's children, as God promised. Orlando lost his parents at a very young age and was raised by his loving Grandmother Sofia Bazan Olona, with the help of his Uncles Manuel, Blas, and Antonio. He is predeceased by his father Pablo Olona, & mother Lucia Padilla Olona; his brothers Paul and Ernest; and his three sons Timmy, Steve, and Tom. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Melba; and his children Jerry, Cathy, Michael, Arthur, Mark, Sophia, Nick, Paul, and Jeff; and his sisters Alice Olona Torres, and Pauline Olona Hernandez. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Orlando will be laid to rest with his sons, Timmy and Tom at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, with full military honors. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. All services will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church. Funeral services include the following: Tuesday, September 2, 2014: Visitation 5-6 pm; Rosary 6-7 pm., and Wednesday, September 3, 2014: Mass 9 am; reception lunch 10 am - 12 noon; Burial 2:00 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. The family would like to thank all of Orlando's doctors, nurses, and caregivers during the last five years. PENA, ABELICIO (ABE) Abelicio (Abe) M. Pena 87, a legend in Cibola County and western New Mexico, died on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Abe is survived by his wife, Viola Cisneros Pena; three daughters: Ramona Alires (Norman), Paula Ladd, Cecilia Salisbury (Randy); son Marco Pena; granddaughters: Maria Ladd Ehrlich (Jason), Andrea Alires, Michele and Jessica Ladd; two grandsons: Marco Alires and Paul Ladd; his two great-grandchildren: Elijah and Anya Ehrlich. Also survived by his brother Bennie Pena (Sandra); sisters Lydia M. Pena S.L., and Dorothy Pena McBride; and sister-in-law, Marie Moleres Pena. Pallbearers will be: Sgt. SANCHEZ, DOLORES BACA was 97 years young when she went to our Lord on Sunday, 8/24/2014. Born on 12/4/16 in Ocate, New Mexico to Lucy and Casimido Baca. In her youth Dolores, lived in Northern New Mexico then moved to San Luis, Colorado, where she attended Sisters of Mercy High School. She met her husband, Fred (deceased) in San Luis, Colorado and was married in 1937 by her Uncle, Rev. Samuel Garcia. She and her husband, owned a country store for about ten years. Later they moved to Tooele, Utah where Fred worked for the Government and where Dolores worked for seven years. She also was a substitute teacher and ran a day care center. They had eight children, Edward (Barbara), Paul (deceased), Pauline (Patrick), Emma Mae (deceased), Mary Jane (deceased), Linda, Selma (John) and Laura (Jim). Dolores has ten grandchildren Gordon, Jon, Gina, Alden, Michael, Peter, Paul, Ann, Edward, Elizabeth, John Paul, Timothy Paul and six great- grandchildren. Dolores was a member of St. Marguerites in Tooele, Utah and St. Thomas Aquinas in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Dolores was a giving person. She was a quilter and gave each of her children and grandchildren handmade quilts. She donated her time to St. Marguerites in Tooele, Utah and St. Thomas Aquinas in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She made five quilts and donated them to churches for fundraising. Our family would like to thank Hospice Compassus, especially Fatima and Geneva. Special thanks to her care takers at Aldea House,Tawyna, Desiree, Monica, Jackie and Christina and Victoria. Also thanks to Helen who assisted in taking care of our mother for several years. Services will be held in Tooele, Utah at St. Margurites Catholic Church, 15 S. 7th Street, on Tuesday, September 2nd. Viewing will be held at 10:00 am and Mass will be held at 11:00 am.
