GARCIA, BESSIE L. In loving memory of our Querida Madre: One year anniversary of her departure. Bessie L. Garcia December 20, 1920 to August 22, 2012. God saw that you were tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, and whispered, "Bessie, come with me." With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and watched you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands were laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, that he only takes the best! It's lonesome here without you, we miss you more each day. Life doesn't seem the same, since you went away. When days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong. We seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up and carry on." Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile and say, "Don't cry, I'm in God's hands, we'll meet again someday!" One long year has passed and it seems like only yesterday. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. We love and miss you so much. Your family, relatives and friends. At Northwestern, Mary met her husband Robert. Robert and Mary married on September 12, 1952. Mary grew up with her sister Margaret and her greatest wish was to have a large family. She achieved her goal. Mary is survived by her nine children and 16 grandchildren: Bob Tourek, his wife Lisa and their sons R.T. and Chris; Katherine Tourek, her husband Stephen French and their daughters Lauren and Kendall; Mark Tourek, his wife Judy Jankowski and their children Gabe and Lexie; Kevin Tourek, his wife Kelly and their sons Benjamin, Sawyer and Aiden; Tim Tourek; David Tourek; Lisa Mack, her husband Tom and their children Johnathan, Courtney and Kaitlin; Erin Tourek; and, Megan Muirhead, her husband Chris and their children Samuel, Jack, Jordan and Elizabeth. Mary will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She and Robert raised their nine children in East Grand Rapids where they always welcomed the neighborhood children to join the family for Sunday night dinners, board games, home run derby, capture the flag, bonfires and other Tourek events. Mary was an accomplished pianist, an avid reader and a devoted Michael Jordan fan. Mary and Robert retired to Albuquerque in 1994 to be closer to family. Education was of utmost importance to Mary. One of her proudest accomplishments was that all her children graduated from college. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any school of your choice or to any of the schools currently attended by Mary's grandchildren: Georgia O'Keeffe Elementary PTA, 11705 San Victorio Ave, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111; Albuquerque Academy PTA, 6400 Wyoming Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109; Sandia High School PTA, 7801 Candelaria Rd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110; or Coronado High School PTA, 1001 Coronado Center Rd., Henderson, NV 89052. WAGNER, CLEMENT J. 8/22/1913 - 12/9/2012 Happy 100th Birthday, Dad It has been over eight months since you went away, and I miss you more and more every day. If I could write a story, It would be the greatest ever told. Of a kind and loving father, Who had a heart of gold. If I could write a million pages, but still be unable to say, just how Much I love and miss him, Every single day. I will remember all he taught me. I'm hurt but won't be sad, 'coz he'll send me down the answers, And he'll always be MY DAD. With all my love, Your daughter, Carole

YEAGER, RICHARD C. On July 28, 2013, at just 64 years old, the gates of Cowboy Heaven opened and welcomed Richard Carl Yeager. Richard was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, born to Lyomal and Christine Yeager, March 24, 1949. He graduated from Valley High School and was employed by GE Aviation for 40 years. Richard loved the rodeo and spent his younger years in the rodeo circuit riding bucking bulls and horses earning multiple championship buckles. He was a longtime volunteer at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta from its very beginning until just last year as a launch director. His presence at the early morning balloon launches will be sorely missed. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and mornings would find him with his friends at the local dearlership getting caught up on events. He was a member of the "Old Coots on Scoots" motorcycle group. Richard is survived by his daughters Tammy Cater-Yeager, Debbie Burch; his son Casey; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson; his sister Luella Trinka; nieces and a nephew; and a host of cousins. He leaves behind as well his fiancee, Nancy Johnson and his "adopted" family on her side who grew to love him dearly. Although gone too soon, our memories will keep you near to us. Until we meet again, "Good ride Cowboy, good ride."
