DELGADO, MARY LOU SANCHEZ (LULU) May 30, 1946 - June 21, 2012 God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. God looked around His garden, and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face. SisIt's hard to believe that a year has gone and past since you left us. Love and miss you so, so much.. Your sister, Dorella (Your Fina)

GARCIA, ROBERTO GUADALUPE moved on to the spirit world on June 8, 2013. He was born in Algodones, New Mexico on December 12, 1934 to his mother, Felipita Gallegos Garcia, and his father, Jose Manuel Garcia. Roberto was a brave, strong and peaceful warrior who walked the good, red road. He dedicated his life to his family, friends, community, and to the protection and defense of Mother Earth. He cared deeply for all humanity and worked tirelessly in the struggle for dignity, justice, human rights, and the recognition of American Indian land, life, culture, religion and right to self-governance and self-determination. Roberto dreamed a world where all beings live in harmony and balance with Mother Earth and shared this dream with everyone he came in contact with. He was a truly visionary leader who fearlessly and non-violently confronted the powers that be with courage, integrity, honesty and truth. He stood up for the poor and oppressed and was never afraid to speak the truth in any circumstance. He truly lived by his words and in accordance with his beliefs. Roberto was a gifted teacher and one of his greatest joys was to instruct the youth which he did with fervor, enthusiasm and dedication. His teachings spanned the trajectory from how to tie a simple knot to the discussion and analysis of the most deeply and profound philosophical concepts and questions confronting humanity today. We will always remember Roberto's humor and love of a good laugh not to mention the incredible wealth of jokes he knew and continued to tell up until his final days. He never failed to be there for his friends and family no matter what his personal sacrifice or discomfort was. Finally, we will never forget the sparkle in his eyes and the boundless love he reaped on us all, family and friends alike. Upon his discharge and return to NM, he enrolled at Highlands University and consequently met the love of his life, Flora Maese. They were married, moved to Albuquerque, and together raised their five children. Max was a man of many talents; he was instrumental in the construction of I-40 through Albuquerque, was a paint and body man for many years with Quality Pontiac, and continued to help others even after his retirement in the late 80's. We will always remember Max (Grandpa, Dad, Uncle) as a man of quiet dignity and courage. His many stories will continue to bring a smile to our faces for generations to come. He wasn't a rich, powerful or famous man, but he was kind-hearted generous and brave. He taught us to live an abundant life with what we are given, and make the most of what we have. His legacy of love will continue on through his children, 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Max was preceded in death by his beloved wife Flora in 2001. He is survived by his sons Michael (Kathe), and Robert (Gloria), daughters Suzanne Cordova (Roger), Dianna Cuaron and Helen Quintana. He will be forever in the hearts of his grandchildren Geneva, Joseph, Julia, Alicia, Sally, Aaron, Jeremy, Evangelina, Nathaniel, Steven, Avaristo, Angelica, A.J., Chrysten and great-grandchildren Armando, Ava, Emiliano and Alex. We love you Dad. To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.danielsfuneral.com Daniels Family Funeral Services 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87110 505-884-1188

RAYBON, SUSAN DEANNA KORDNER passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8th. She was surrounded by her two sons Sean and Kyle as well as an abundance of love from her lifelong girlfriends who were by her side. Sue was born in Detroit, Michigan and died in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from Hillcrest High School, attended The University of Miami before beginning her career in broadcasting television sales in Dallas and Albuquerque. She was loved for her sense of humor, her honesty and inner strength. As a single mother, Sue raised her sons with love and toughness. It's hard to imagine a world now without her. In her retirement, Sue was able to spend her time doing what she loved best-- working on her crafts including making jewelry and creating a variety of pet collars; and selling both successfully in Albuquerque. Two years ago, Sue faced her diagnosis of lung cancer head-on and "fought the good fight". Her courage was an inspiration to us all. On Sunday, July 14th at 10:00am we will celebrate Sue Raybon's life at The Hilton Crowne Plaza at 1901 University Blvd, then proceed to the Sunset Memorial in Albuquerque. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal". Our memories will keep you in our hearts, dear mother and friend.

WALLIS, OLIN Olin Wallis died from leukemia at age 22, ten years ago on June 24, 2003. Dear Olin: Every day for ten years we have missed you and your crazy antics. We learned so much from you about how to enjoy life, even with its struggles. Everyone who knew you will remember your courage, compassion and clever wit. Meredith wrote these words ten years ago for you: "Olin will be remembered not just by the words that describe him -- friendly, active, caring, enthusiastic, intelligent, hilarious -- but by the fact that no list of attributes or activities could ever encompass him." You were always kind enough to appreciate the people who helped you, and we appreciate everyone's kindness during your illness and since then. We know you would support our suggestion here. With much love, Mom, Dad, and your sister Meredith. If friends desire, please remember Olin by donating to the Children's Cancer Fund of New Mexico, www.ccfnm.org, phone 505-243-3618. They continue to help many children and their families here in NM. Terri, David, and Meredith Wallis
