CHAVEZ, RALPH J. age 45, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 8, 2012. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Renee; daughter, Valerie Sanchez and husband, Paul; his parents, Ernest H. and Rosanna Chavez; sisters, Arlene F. Chavez, and Elaine A. Chavez; brothers, Ronald J. Chavez and wife, Sue, Ernest H. Chavez Jr., and wife, Jonene, Randolph J. Chavez and companion, Erlinda; grandchildren, Nathaniel Sanchez, Shaylah Sanchez, and Christianna Sanchez; many aunts, uncles, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers; and his best friend, Mickey. Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Jude Chavez; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry G. Chavez; and mother in law, Theresa Ponce. Ralph was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, and was an employee of the City of Albuquerque, Water Authority Department. Ralph was a good young man, very giving and dedicated with a big heart. He was especially a devoted husband to his wife, and they shared everyday together as best friends and lovers. Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final Visitation will be Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Church, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. CRUZ, HELENA ANTOINETTE WADRISKI was born on February 15, 1953 in New Jersey and passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Albuquerque, with her loving family at her side. She was a very loving caring person, who cherished her family and others very much. She was an excellent sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and treasured friend. Helena was a Home Care nurse who truly loved and cared for her patients. She loved to read any type of books and enjoyed cooking. She will be greatly missed. Helena was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helena Wadriski; daughter, Alana Sanchez; son, Ricardo Sanchez; great grandson, Darion Ninham. She is survived by many loving family members and dear friends who loved and will miss her greatly. A private family Memorial Service will take place. ESPINOSA, CHARLOTTE BEATRICE age 92, passed away Sunday morning October 7, 2012. She was a long time resident of Albuquerque, born in Monte Vista, Colorado, October 13, 1919. Charlotte was a graduate of Del Norte, Colorado class of 1942. She came with her parents, brothers and sisters to New Mexico. She attended Western School and Albuquerque Business College while working at Kress Downtown, City Hall, U.S. Army Corps of Engineering and Department of the Air Force CMD. Charlotte retired after 33 years of service. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Abel Espinosa, Lucinda Cisneros Espinosa; brothers, Gilbert and Frank; son, Michael Joseph Espinosa; sister, Ernestine McNeely. She is survived by her sister, Victoria Martinez and husband Rudy; brother, Edward, who resides in a nursing home; sister Mary Espinosa who was her Caretaker of six years; grandchildren, Michael Abel Espinosa and wife, Bernadette, Michael Thomas, Brittany Skye, Abel Marcus, Charlie, Brandy, Reba as well as many nephews and nieces, other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Charlotte was a member of San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Services will be held at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church 8321 Camino San Martin SW. ABQ. HOGE, ALFRED (AL) Age 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 64 years, passed away Wednesday October 3, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marian; son Patrick (Brenda ) Hoge; daughters, Marta (Kirby) Franklin and Terry (John ) Teale. He is also survived by grandchildren Michael ( Kelli) Hoge, LeAnne Hoge, Rikki (Stephen) Bellinger, J. Bradley Teale, Dennis Franklin and Bonnie Franklin and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children Linn Hoge, 7, and Michael Hoge, 5, both of whom died in 1952 of polio. Al was also preceded in death by his parents and all his siblings. Al was born May 28, 1923 in Springville, Iowa, the fifth child of Arthur and Evalina Hoge. After Al graduated from high school in Iowa he went to live with his oldest brother and his wife, Harold and Ruth Hoge, in NW Washington, D.C. There he met Marian Bradley Hussey at the Florida Avenue Friends Meeting in Washington, D.C. They were married October 21, 1944. In 1948, Marian and Al moved from Bethesda, Maryland, to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for Al to begin his nearly 38 year career at Sandia National Laboratory. Al was an early attender and long time member of the Albuquerque Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), where a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on November 3, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions to your favorite charity. We will miss his corny humor as well as his positive and encouraging nature. We love you Al.

LADEAU, MICHAEL age 62, passed away on October 5, 2012 at Hospice House of Odessa, TX. He was surrounded by family. He was born in Roswell, NM on August 22, 1950. Michael served in the United States Army as a medic. He was currently employed by SW Convenience Stores, where he was the Operation Support Manager. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are: his wife Jan Uhl; stepson Daniel Uhl and wife Juhree Uhl; grandchildren Jason Uhl and Luke Uhl of Little Elm, TX; stepson Erik Uhl and wife Alisha Uhl of Frisco, TX; sister Margaret Leyba of Albuquerque, NM, with her son Alan Leyba and daughter Becky Lucero; brothers Patrick Ladeau and wife Laura Ladeau of Mesa, AZ, and Joe Ladeau and wife Lan Ladeau of Portland, OR, with daughters Anmei Ladeau and Meilin Ladeau. Michael was a wonderful husband, stepfather, brother, and papa. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses at MCH of Odessa and Regency Hospital of Odessa. PATRICK, ULRIC BOUQUET Age 91, a resident of Albuquerque, N.M., went to be with the Lord his Savior on October 6, 2012 after a lengthy illness, and was surrounded by family and friends who loved him. He was born to Ulric and Nellie Mae Bouquet on July 24, 1921 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His father, an Army Air Corp officer, was killed in a plane crash and his mother re-married Major General Edwin D. Patrick, who adopted Ulric and became the only father he ever knew. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Ann Patrick; daughters, Halley Anderson (Mark) of Albuquerque, and Ann Compton (Rodney) of Craig, CO; son, Ricky Patrick of Albuquerque; step-son, Lorance Clow of ID; brother, Tom Patrick of The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Daniel and Kristin Anderson of Cedar Crest, Chris (Adri) Compton of Ft. Collins, CO, and Catherine Compton of Craig, CO; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Walters of Englewood, CO and Mryna Patrick of Lafayette, LA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Ed Patrick. Ulric joined the Army at the age of 20 in 1942, serving in both WWII and Korea, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. He graduated in 1948 from UNM with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He worked for UNM as an internal auditor until he retired in 1987. His love of geology and the mining industries of New Mexico and Colorado was his greatest hobby. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at French-University Chapel on Thursday, October 11, 2012 with Pastor Rod Compton officiating. ROMERO, BERTHA B. Age 80, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012. Mrs. Romero is survived by her children, Cynthia Macias and husband, Gilbert, Monica Gonzales, and Dominic Romero and wife, Frederica; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Louisa (Mary Lou) Martinez and husband, Joe and Loretta Narrell; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, godchildren, and friends. Mrs. Romero was preceded in death by her husband, Juan C. Romero Jr.; grandson, Mario Alvarez; son-in-law, Joe Gonzales; brother, Teofilo Baca; and brother-in-law, Jim Narrell. Mrs. Romero retired from the University of New Mexico after twenty years of service and enjoyed going to the casinos during her retirement years. ROSE, RUTH W. Born June 17, 1915 in Belen, peacefully passed away on October 7, 2012. Her husband, Earl J. Rose, preceded her in death 23 years ago. She was a school teacher in Santa Fe for many years and developed friendships with many people. She had many likes, fine art, Indian arts and crafts, traveling, and had a great love of animals. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Tafoya; his mother, Rose Gallegos; and his brothers, Loyde Tafoya, Claude Tafoya, Johnny Tafoya, Jessie Tafoya, Sammy Tafoya; and his granddaughter, Ashley Franchesca Quintana. He was a very giving and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all of his family. TRUJILLO, THOMAS O. 10 Mar 1947 - 06 Oct 2012 Our beloved father went home to the Lord on 6 October 2012. He was born to Virginia and Raymond Trujillo on 10 March 1947 and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Pauline C. Trujillo; five children Annamarie Reategui, Lisa Stephenson, Gloria Zellner, Thomas Nathan Trujillo, and Lucille Taylor. He also leaves behind his ten cherished grandchildren Matthew and Erica Reategui, Lesley Ann Monk, Robert Stephenson, Ricki Zellner, Malyssa Rose, Izabella and Alejandro Trujillo, and Johnathan and Amber Taylor. Also surviving are two son-in-laws, Brian Stephenson and Adam Zellner; sisters, Susie Guzman, Dorothy Trujillo, Lucy Vialpando, Margaret Garcia; brothers, Willie, David, Raymond, Darrell and Joey Trujillo and brother-in-law Teddy Chavez; numerous other relatives and friends. VALDEZ, BERNARDINO "BERNIE" 1929-2012 age 83, a resident of Belen for 20 years, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1952 prior to moving to Belen in 1990, passed away Saturday, October 6. He was a retiree of Duke City Lumber. Bernie is survived by his wife of 30 years, Irene Ann Valdez; 19 children; 44 grandchildren; 57 great- grandchildren; five brothers; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews. WALLACE, OBBIE L. Obbie was born on April 4, 1959 in Mt. Olive, NC and passed in peace on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital after battling Cancer. He is survived by his daughter, Jovanna Luz Candelaria; mother, Jessie Mae Mills; his life long partner, Rosanna L.
