RHOADES -- BEATRICE ANN Formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was born March 6, 1931 in Hales Corners, Wisconsin and passed away November 2, 2011 in Henderson, Nevada at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald (Dusty) Rhoades and her parents, Maurice and Pearl Fitze. Bea is survived by her son Vic Knauth and wife Dona of Oceanside, CA; her daughters Kathy Rottman and husband Larry of Lancaster, CA, Carrie Graves and husband Tom of Red Oak, TX, Becky Carey and husband Dave of Henderson, NV, Leslie Hulebak and husband Phil of Albuquerque, NM, and Donette Berezniak and husband Michael of Albuquerque, NM; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Bob Reich of Mesa, AZ. The family wishes to extend special thanks for the exceptional care provided by The Palms at Siena and for the love and support of the Nathan Adelson Hospice staff. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 4:00 pm at Green Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1799 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, NV. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. STEWART -- CECIL V. Age 92, a resident of Rio Rancho, affectionately known as "Granddad" by his family went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2011. He loved his church and his family very much. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were very special to Granddad. He is survived by his three children, Bill Stewart and wife, Diane of Colorado, and John Stewart and wife, Becky of Rio Rancho, and Janet Stewart of Rio Rancho; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Sarah Jean Stewart, one year ago. Cecil was one of five brothers born on September 6, 1919 in Bryan, TX to Milton and Hazel Stewart. He served his country in WWII on a mine sweeper in the Navy as Chief Quartermaster. It was during his time in the Navy that he met and married the former Sarah Jean Adams - our beloved "Gran". They were married for 67 years before she passed away in 2010. Granddad loved sports and would watch any sport, no matter how obscure it was, and enjoy it. He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Albuquerque Senior Men's Golf Association after from the Corps of Engineers. Granddad was also a volunteer, along with his wife, Jean, at Presbyterian Hospital for many years. He was an active and devoted member of Harwood United Methodist Church and served there in many capacities during his life. Granddad sang for many happy years in the Harwood choir. Most of all, Granddad was a kind and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He taught us grace, devotion and peace and we will miss him greatly. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Saturday, November 5, 2011, 2:00 p.m., at Harwood United Methodist Church, 420 San Lorenzo NW. STEWART -- DAVID A. Of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on October 28th 2011. He was born in Detroit, MI on November 15th, 1958 to Rev. Alexander Taylor Stewart and Edith Andersen Stewart and grew up in Clarkston, MI. Dave served his country overseas in the US Army as a communication specialist. He is survived by his daughter Claire Marie Stewart; sisters, Phyllis Frankoff and Joan Nudos; and brother Bruce Stewart. Dave wished to be cremated and there will be a family memorial in MI this summer. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Crystal Lake and Watershed Association at PO Box 89 Beulah, MI 49617.

TAYLOR -- VICTORIA STILLS "VICKY" 1951 - 2011 Age 59 of Bosque Farms, NM, lost her battle with cancer on November 3, 2011. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Lovelace Hospital. The daughter of Richard and Bonnie Stills of Martensdale, IA, Vicky graduated from Martensdale-St. Mary's school in 1970 and married Stanley Taylor on January 15, 1972. Vicky lived most of her younger life in Iowa and her married life in Texas and New Mexico. Vicky loved life, animals, the outdoors and children, helping the kids of the local 4-H and FFA programs. She always enjoyed spending the time she had with all. Vicky was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Bill Taylor of Panora, IA. She is survived by her loving husband, Stan Taylor of Bosque Farms, NM; son, Clayton Taylor and his wife, Stashia of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Carrie Koonce and her husband, Jim of Ada, OK; parents, Richard and Bonnie Stills of Martendale, IA; brother, Bruce Stills of Martensdale, IA; sister. Judy Stills of Norwalk, IA; grandchildren, Riley and Emmett Koonce; numerous other family members and friends. A service to celebrate Vicky's life will be held at the Noblin Funeral Service Los Lunas Chapel, 2211-D Main St., on Monday, November 7 at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Iowa at a later date. THOMAS -- CHARLES GEORGE COL. USAF, (Ret) Age, 71, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, November 2, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Regina Marie Thomas of Albuquerque, NM; three children, Jennifer Harkins and husband, Brian of Boston, MA, Elizabeth Shriver and husband, Jesse of Las Vegas, NV, and Brian Thomas and partner, Drury Roberts of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Rachel and Emily Harkins and Amanda and Eric Charles Shriver; sister, Eileen Bikowicz and husband, Robert of Scotia, NY; brother, Lawrence Thomas and wife, Mary of Phoenix, AZ; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Colonel Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Thomas; and daughter, Carolyn Marie. He was born in 1940 in Manhattan, NY and was a graduate of the Air Force Academy, Class of 1961. Colonel Thomas married the former Regina Pitassy in October of 1965. He had various Air Force assignments, and received two Legion of Merits, an Air Medal and nine Vietnam Service Medals. Colonel Thomas flew over 7000 hours in several different aircraft, his favorite being the C-141. His final military assignment was Wing Commander of the 1606th Air Base Wing at Kirtland AFB from 1985 to 1988. After leaving the Air Force, Charlie worked for Governor Gary Carruthers as a Cabinet Secretary of the General Services Department. Col Thomas spent 13 years at Sandia National Laboratories before retiring. He was also on the board of the Albuquerque International Sunport; Past President of the Southwest Defense Alliance; a board member of the Air Force Association; was one of the original members of the Kirtland Partnership Committee which was responsible for the retention of Kirtland Air Force Base during BRAC; and for the past 20 years was Military Analyst for KOAT, Channel 7 in Albuquerque. In 2010, Col. Thomas received the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce Steve Schiff Award. Charles was a member of John XXIII Catholic Community. Friends may visit French-Lomas Chapel Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday November 7, 2011, 11:00 am at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE, Albuquerque, with Father Arkad Bizak as Celebrant with a reception following at the church. Interment will take place at The Air Force Academy Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Kizito Elementary School in Mekenke, Uganda or St. Mary's High School in Eleneacita, Kenya in care of John XIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. BRAMLETT -- EXERLONA A native of Albuquerque, NM; graduated from Albuquerque High School; attended University one year; married Henry Bramlett on December 17, 1935. To this union were born three children, namely Gloria, Johnny, and Gary; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church all of her life; there she taught Sunday School; sang in the church choir; served as the church clerk; and was the financial clerk for twenty-six years. She joined the Eureka Matrons and the Home Circle Club both in 1935, and she very much enjoyed being a member; she believes they have done many wonderful things over the years. She served as President of the club for a short time in the early 1940's, and served as the Assistant Secretary. In 1964, Zenobia Collins McMurray was President, and in 1967, Sis. Bramlett was Parliamentarian when Carrie Hanks was President. Sis. Bramlett received many certificates awarded to her for services rendered, including: a plaque from Mount Olive Baptist Church for the period from 1955-1980; Certificate of Merit Courtesy in 1974; Certificate of Recognition for 1993-1994; Service Award in February 1986; a Service Award as Chairman of Events in 1972; Certificate of Appreciation from the University of New Mexico in 1993; and, the Certificate of Attendance at Mount Olive's Sunday School in 1996. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 2401 University Blvd. SE.
