DUGAN -- Dr. Robert Perry Jr., age 78, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lynne; his son Bob III and wife Alisa and kids Robby IV and Bailey of Albuquerque; daughter Cheri and husband Ted Rifkin and kids Riley and TJ of Durango, CO; sisters Carol and husband Ross Rhoads of Charlotte, NC and Connie and husband Dave Voss of Laguna Niguel, CA; and many nephews and nieces. Bob moved here eight months ago from Palm Desert, CA with Lynne to be nearer his family. He devoted his life to the service of Jesus Christ at the early age of seven. Bob graduated with honors from Wheaton College, and then Fuller Seminary in CA. His first church was in Rochester, NH from 1959-63, then Elmhurst, IL from 1963-70, Denver, CO from 1970-78. He ran for U.S. Congress in 1976, then became Director of Public Affairs and V.P. for National Assn. of Evangelicals in Washington, D.C. from 1978-2000. He counseled with every President from Carter to Clinton as the Champion for Christian Causes in America. He was a hero to his bon Bob III and grandson Robby IV as they share his name and destiny. We all loved him and miss him so much, but know his homecoming in Heaven is a brilliant glory in Christ. A Memorial celebration will be held at Calvary Chapel in the Hub, 4001 Osuna NE on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 12:00 noon.

FRANKLIN -- Gracia Renedo Franklin passed peacefully May 7, 2010. Gracia was born in Granada, Spain in 1932. Her family moved to Barcelona where she met Lt. Willard E. Franklin. They married and lived in many places around the world before retiring in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Gracia was a devoted wife and mother. Her passion was to love and serve her family. She helped in raising her grandchildren. She loved to cook and drink coffee. She will be deeply missed by her family and all others whose lives she touched. She is survived by her daughter, Isabel Martin and husband Mark; son Ben Franklin and wife Patricia; daughter-in-law Barbara Franklin; grandchildren, Leit and wife Kim, Carisa, Meisje, Aharon, Jordan, Haley, Laney, and Megan; and great- grandchildren, Jonah, Jade, Mackenzie, and Kolton. Gracia was preceded in death by her husband Willard; son Alberto; and daughter Luci. She will also join in heaven her brothers, and sisters; Antonio, Amparo, Diego, Lola, Louie, Carmela, and Maria. A very special thank you to the staff at the Robin House and Heartland Hospice for their love, dedication and tireless efforts shown to Gracia and her family. FRESQUEZ HERNANDEZ -- Pauline Ruth Fresquez Hernandez born March 2, 1928 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 10th, 2010. Pauline is survived by her companion, Joe Trujillo; her daughters, Charlene Hernandez, Maggie Ochoa and husband, Efren, Theresa Samaniego and husband, Manuel, and Martha Hernandez; her sons, Art Hernandez and wife, Rita, James Hernandez and wife, Theresa; her grandson whom she raised, Ernie Garcia; special granddaughters, Ruby Garcia and Tina Romero; her five sisters who reside in California; nephew, Richard Fresquez; and sister-in-law, Helen Aragon. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hernandez; her sons, Paul and Melvin Hernandez; her mother, Ester Dominguez; mother-in- law, Miquela Hernandez; and grandson, Steven Garcia. Pauline's legacy continues for five generations through grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She loved to sew, plant flowers, and her kitty Buggie. Visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Helen Aragon and Ida Mae Grant. Final visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at the Church, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. LOPEZ -- Ted A. "Diz" Lopez, 67, passed away May 9, 2010 at his home in Albuquerque following a lengthy illness. He was born October 3, 1942 in Santa Fe, NM to Ted M. and Josephine Lopez. He graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1961. He was a retired electrician and a proud member, officer and brother of the IBEW LU 611. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, camping and going for wood. As his illness progressed, he took up gemology, jewelry making, and photography. He had a quick wit and a way of always making people laugh and smile. Ted was preceeded in death by his mother, Josephine Bustamante Lopez, father, Ted M. Lopez, sisters Mary Jo Moolick, Christine Marie Lopez, and granddaughter Antoniette Melissa Lopez. He is survived by his Aunt Annie and husband Michael Tony Sandoval of Santa Fe, Teddy wanted to thank Aunt Annie for "asking me to be the ring bearer at your wedding and I'm sorry for stepping on your dress". Children Monica Varela and husband Daniel of Pecos, Ted T. MACEACHEN -- Michael A. MacEachen passed away May 8, 2010, at 82 in Largo, Florida. Mike was born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, Canada on February 6, 1928 to Michael Patrick and Corinne MacEachen (Deceased). Michael served in the United States Air Force for twenty-seven years and was honorably discharged holding the rank of Chief Warrant Officer with many honors and commendations. He proudly served all over the world with stops in Germany, Turkey, Greece, Holland and Vietnam. Mike loved the water, playing golf, bowling, and fishing. Mike was a member of the Knights of Columbus and truly enjoyed any social situation and being with family and friends. Mike is survived by his wife, Ginny; past wife and mother of his children, Shirley; sons, Michael Jr. and his wife Linda, Daniel and his wife Monica, Timothy and his wife Susan; and nine grandchildren. Funeral arrangements in Florida, where he will be interred with full military honors, are pending.

Addie and her husband, Jim McCants moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1959 with their three sons, Herb, Don and Jay McCants. After Jim retired from Kirtland AFB in 1978, they moved to Hillsboro, NM. MCCLAIN -- Pamela S. McClain, 63, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Mrs. McClain was born on October 7, 1946 to Robert W. and Dorothy L. (Allen) Green of Des Moines, IA. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral and its choir. In her twenties, Mrs. McClain was a member of the USO. She was a financial advisor for Ameriprise and in her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and volunteering for many organizations. Mrs. McClain is survived by her husband of 23 years, Harris R. McClain, of Albuquerque, NM; a daughter, Jennifer M. Gray of McAllen, TX; a son, Matthew R. Gray, and his wife Judith, of Buda, TX; a grandson, Zane, also of Buda, TX; and a brother, William Green, of Des Moines, IA. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, 318 Silver Ave SW. MEDINA -- Ruth A. Medina, 84, died May 7, 2010. Born in Monte Vista, CO on August 17, 1925, she was a graduate of Adams State Teachers College. She taught elementary school in Dulce, NM and in the APS school system. Ruth raised children, her own, and others with legendary zeal and warmth. She was a great cook, generous to family and friends, and left a lasting impression on those she met and whose lives she touched. She is survived by her three children, Cassandra Medina, Patrick Medina and Veronica Medina; her brother, Alfred Archuleta; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Thaddeus Medina; her parents, Alfred and Rose Archuleta; and her husband, Alfonso E. Medina. She was a fountain of love and kindness and will live in our hearts forever. Services for Mrs. Medina will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where the Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. and the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the family home. MILLER -- Margery Simms Miller, 81, died May 6, 2010. She was born January 24, 1929 in Dulce, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. J. Denton Simms; brothers, Harper, Donald, Richard; and sister May Denham. She is survived by her brother David and wife Betty Lou Simms of Albuquerque; her daughters, Dennie Miller of Rio Rancho, NM, Melinda and husband Carey Matthews of Buckeye, AZ, Beth Miller of Los Lunas, NM; and grandson, Clay Gayet of Austin, TX. She enjoyed music, taking care of her rescue dogs and volunteering at a local Alzheimer's facility. A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle, SE at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. A reception will follow.
