BOLTON -- Martha Bolton, a resident of Albuquerque for 62 years, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010 with her loving family at her side. She worked in the Retail Business for many years. Martha raised a son and two daughters, loved holidays and visiting with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ernest Bolton and son Dennis Bolton. Martha is survived by two children, Dale Hart and husband Bob and Debbie Mondick and husband Rick; daughter-in-law Stellaretta Bolton; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. DRENNAN -- Richard Drennan, 91, passed away on November 12, 2010. He was born August 2, 1919 in Elk, New Mexico to Susie Edith and Richard Andrew Drennan. Richard is survived by his wife of 64 years, Inez Drennan; one son, Richard Drennan, Jr. and his wife Robin; grandson Richard Drennan III and his wife Melissa; granddaughter, Tiffany and her husband Ed Kolesar; and two great-granddaughters, Alanna and Calleigh Drennan. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and four brothers. Richard was a World War II veteran, who served in the Pacific campaign. He was a resident of Albuquerque for 64 years and was retired from General Electric. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 10:00 AM, at Daniels Family Funeral Services, Wyoming Chapel. Services will follow at 10:30 AM. GARCIA -- Anthony Thomas Garcia, born July 19, 1960, left this earth on November 11, 2010, and is now resting in peace. He was a beloved son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He is survived by his parents, Benny M. Garcia, and Anna M. Garcia. He is also survived by his companion, Sylvia Cruz Garcia, and their children, Francisco Velazquez and wife Lisa Hueso-Velazquez, Cassandra S. Garcia and fianc Jonathan Murillo, Jonathan B. Garcia, and Felicia Sanchez. He had three siblings, Angela T. (Garcia) Ortiz and, husband, Rico I. Ortiz, Alisa M. (Garcia) Valdez and, husband, Dennis R. Valdez, and Andrew B. Garcia and, wife, Juanita C. Garcia. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Miquela Ortiz, Eric Valdez, Marisa Ortiz, Isaac Valdez, Alicia Vigil, Isabella Garcia, and Andres Garcia. Lastly, he is survived by the apple of his eye, his grandson, Nathan Anthony Murillo. Anthony lived an incredible life and was a hero to many. He served in the United States Navy for more than 24 years and was honored for his duty in Desert Storm when he received the Adm. C. V. Ricketts Award for Navy Man of the Year in 1992. Though he proudly and bravely served in many locations around the world, including Iraq, and Afghanistan, he always looked forward to returning home to Albuquerque to be near his family. He was enjoying his retirement when his untimely departure from this earth occurred. He was an incredibly strong and athletic individual (he once ran in the San Diego, California marathon). He was generous beyond measure. He was a creative writer and wrote a few articles which were published in the Albuquerque Journal. He also volunteered time, which he loved and was well regarded for his work with the Democratic Party of NM. He will be greatly missed and the fond memories of him will be cherished. A rosary service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 7 p.m., Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW. The funeral mass will be Wednesday, November 17, 9 a.m., Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd NW. Burial services will follow at 11:30 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. JATERKA -- Rosie, the energetic woman whom everyone knew as just Rosie, died at home with her daughter on November 13, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Rosie was born in Van Houten, New Mexico, in 1923 to Italian Immigrants parents and was raised on the family farm in Eagle Nest, New Mexico. At sixteen she met and married the only love of her life, Carlo Jaterka. With twenty-two dollars in their pockets the young couple moved to Dawson, New Mexico where Carlo worked in the coal mines. At eighteen Rosie gave birth to their only child, Carol Anne. Relatives used to say that the young family grew up together. In 1949, the Dawson Mines closed and the family moved to Raton, New Mexico, where they lived until they moved to Albuquerque in 1988 to be close to their daughter. After Carlo died in 1999, Rosie, a devout Catholic, became active in church work at Risen Savior Parrish. She also continued to bake her famous "Rosie goodies" for family and friends. She loved her frequent trips to Las Vegas and Hawaii with her daughter, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Duke Blue Devils and Atlanta Braves fan. Rosie was preceded in death by her husband of fifty- nine years, Carlo Jaterka; parents, Pete and Angelina Andreoli; brothers, Bernard, Guido, John and Elliot Andreoli; sisters, Anne Bergamo and Edith Ritt. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jaterka Piper; god daughter, Catherine Bergamo Svaldi; brother, Sam Andreoli; sisters, Elena Cherubini and Katherine Haner; sister-in-law, Gina Andreoli and many nieces, especially Celeste Cherubini who always helped; many nephews, and many friends, She will be missed. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 7:00 pm at French ~ Wyoming Chapel. Friends may visit from 6-7 pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, 10:00 am at Risen Savior Catholic Community. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. LANGWELL -- Donald E. Langwell, Colonel, USAF (RET.) passed away peacefully on November 6, 2010 in Las Cruces, NM. Don lived 74 rich years. Born in Torrington, Wyoming, on December 28, 1935, he graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He married Sharon Harold in 1958. Colonel Langwell served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1984. His dedication to his country has been an inspiration to his family and friends, and flying was a great joy to him. Don was a long-time resident of Albuquerque, NM where he worked for contract engineering companies after his retirement from the military. He was fond of using his hands and engineer's mind to make art, fix motorcycles and other mechanical devices, read, and gaze at the stars. He is survived by his wife Sharon Langwell; his two daughters Sarah Langwell and Leigh Anne Langwell and their partners David Stotts and Patrick Nagatani; two sisters Lorena Bernbeck and Norma Shriner and their husbands Con Bernbeck and Ron Shriner; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 15, 2010, French - Lomas Chapel at 10:00 a.m. A military service memorial, honor guard, and flag presentation ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 15, 2010 at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. STANG -- Marie K. Stang, 83, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and civitarian, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 10, 2010. She was a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, having been born in Sterling, CO. Marie was an avid gardener winning many awards and a volunteer for many community services. She has now joined her husband of 61 years, John E. Stang, in heaven along with three siblings and our Lord Jesus Christ. She is survived by sons Edward Stang and wife, Lita; David Stang and wife Deborah Dlabal; Thomas Stang; Robert Stang and wife Theresa; grandchildren Michael Stang, Amanda Stang, Samantha Stang, Robert Calderman and wife Lauren; seven siblings; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Thursday, November 18, 2010, 6:30 p.m. at French Lomas Chapel. TILLEY -- Garland P. Tilley, 76, of Los Lunas passed away November 13, 2010. Garland was born in Pineville, West Virginia on March 31, 1934. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gwendola Tilley, his two daughters, Karen Marberry and husband Phillip; Kathy Tilley. He is also survived by his sister, Willa Faye Pruitt and husband Jack of High Point, North Carolina, his brother Riley Tilley and wife Irene of Chesterfield, Virginia; his sisters Thelma Brooks and Lucy Halsey both of West Virginia. Garland was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren; Melissa and husband Scott Profitt, Jennifer Marberry and friend Garrett Johnson, Matthew Grindell, Jessica Grindell, Sarah Grindell and Emily Grindell. Garland was also a great-grandfather to Angelica and Samantha. He is survived by his nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his Mother Lula Tilley,his Father William Riley Tilley and infant grandson Marberry. Garland was active in his community and was a member of First Baptist Church of Los Chavez, Bethelehem Lodge #56 and Hillsville Lodge #193 AF&AM. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite as well as Jessamine #45 OES. He proudly and faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force for over twenty years. He was a retiree of Sandia National Laboratories of Albuquerque. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at French-University from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, November 16. TRUJILLO -- Concepcion Veneranda Trujillo was born January 22, 1933. She went to be with the Lord on Monday November 8th 2010 at the age of 77. Beneranda was born in Juan Tomas, New Mexico and was a longtime resident of Albuquerque. Beneranda will forever be remembered for being our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Renaldo Trujillo and her son Joseph Griego. Beneranda is survived by her three sons, Reynaldo Condido, Vincent and wife Sallie and Candelario David; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; and all other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW. in Albuquerque. WELSHONCE -- Margaret H. Welshonce, age 79, died November 11, 2010 in Rio Rancho, NM. She had been a resident of Rio Rancho since 1977. Margaret was born November 16, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Christopher and Lydia (Young) Alster. She loved the Lord and was active in her church as she was able; she was devoted to her family and her cats. Margaret considered her family to be her main "hobby". She is remembered for all of her support and dedication to her husband, daughter and grandchildren. Margaret especially enjoyed music and singing too. She liked to watch and listen to the classic Broadway musicals and many traditional hymns. And, she loved to join in and sing the lyrics! After moving to Rio Rancho, Margaret was active with the Meadowlark Senior Center Singers for several years. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Laura Etzcorn and husband Derek; three grandchildren Robert, Kimberly and Tyler all of Albuquerque; her sister, Dorothy Holland of Queens, NY; brother, Johnny Alster of Glendale, NY; her sisters-in-law Mary Alster of Phoenix, AZ and Rose Alster of Venice, FL and her beloved cat, "Bambi". She was preceded in death by her husband, William Barnes Welshonce in 1995. Visitation will be 10 am, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Road Chapel in Rio Rancho.
