Rosanne was born March 10, 1961 the daughter of Richard and Melba Chandler Kaszuba in Lackawanna, New York. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for New Mexico Student Loans. BEGELTON -- Mary Begelton, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Born to the late William and Henrietta Henderson (Harris) on June 25, 1935, in Muskogee. OK. She is survived by her Husband, Merveal Begelton; seven children, Amita Denise Johnson of Monahans, TX, Rodney Lassiter of Monahans, TX, Dorthea Lassiter of Atlanta, GA, Ralph Pittman of Denver, CO, Berniece Glover and husband Ron of Midwest City, OK, LaRue Begelton of Albuquerque, NM and Robert Thomas Lassiter, Jr. of Washington, DC; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Baker and Elbert Webber and wife Emma all of Topeka, KS, and numerous nieces and nephews. BONADONNA -- Agatina M. Bonadonna, 91, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 28 years, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009. Agatina was born February 5, 1918 the daughter of Frank and Beatrice Dilosa D'Amico in New York City, New York. She had been a member of the Italian American Association and the St. Thomas Aquinas Alter/Rosary Society of Rio Rancho. Agatina was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bonadonna; and one son, Thomas Bonadonna. She is survived by two daughters, Grace Bonadonna and Beatrice O'Malley; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. CAMP -- Santry E. Camp "Sam," born December 10, 1941 in Mead, Kansas, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away quietly in his home on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 after a long illness. Sam is survived by his wife of 46 years, Connie; sons, Alan and Brent; daughters-in-law, Wendy and Cristien; and his grandson, Austin, whom he loved dearly; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who loved him and will miss him. CHAVEZ -- Roberta "Berta" Tafoya Chavez, 83, born in Alameda, NM on March 13, 1926 to Severo and Petra Tafoya passed away peacefully with her family at her side on October 14, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. Roberta was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband Filemon Chavez; two sons Arturo and Arthur James Chavez. Berta is survived by her daughter Clydine Sosa and husband Guadalupe; daughter Anabel Chavez; daughter-in-law Susan Chavez; son Richard Chavez; daughter Phyllis Mitchell and husband Doug; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters and countless other family members. CLIFFORD -- Jack McCabe Clifford, 95, born in Columbus, OH on March 28, 1914, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2009. He had tenacity for life and was a source of joy and inspiration to those who knew him. Jack attended The Ohio State University and considered himself a lifelong Buckeye. Following college, Jack served in the Pacific during World War II with the U.S. Army. After the war, Jack married Amelia Zalnoski, and lived in Columbus, OH before moving in 1950 to Albuquerque, NM where he had a long career in real estate development. Jack was extremely active until the last week of his life and continued to work, exercise, and read avidly on a regular basis. He possessed extraordinary will power, a witty sense of humor, and a consistently positive outlook. Jack was a devout Catholic and a committed family man. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Z. Clifford. Survivors include son, Jack J. Clifford; grandchildren, Lisa Marie Clifford, Sean David Clifford and wife, Meredith; and siblings, Dorothy Kelly, Mary Armstrong, Bill Clifford and wife, Janet. COPE -- Elaine Mary Ann Cope passed away on October 13, 2009 at the age of 79. Born in Dodge City, Kansas to John Koppers and Viola (Stein) Koppers. She grew up in Fowler, Kansas and upon graduating high school, Elaine went to a Catholic Nursing School in Halstead, Kansas. In 1954 was wed to Jesse. R. Cope. They were married for more than 25 years until he passed away in 1980. They had three daughters; Rhonda Fisher, Laura Fatemi and husband Ali, Suzette Beck and husband David. Elaine was the proud grandmother of four; Marie Jordan, Farrah Fatemi, Michael and John Fisher and also great-grandchildren to Zackery and Jacob Jordan. Elaine's death was preceded by her parents John and Viola Koppers; son-in-law Pat Fisher; and grandson, Daniel Beck. As a nurse, Elaine was very caring and nurturing and strong willed. She also brought a sense of humor to her work and life. Elaine retired from Lovelace after 30+ years in 1995. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, bridge and reading. Services will be held in Paradise Hills at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd., NW on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 9:45 a.m. for the rosary and the funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. The interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Jesse. DIMARCO -- Joseph N. DiMarco, Ph.D., of Albuquerque passed away on October 4, 2009, at his home. He was born in New York City on September 28, 1935, and was married to Fran DiMarco for 46 years. He received a Doctorate in Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology. A Fellow of the American Physical Society, the majority of his professional career was spent at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Joe enjoyed hiking, fishing, trap shooting, traveling, and as a young man, car racing. He served as Los Alamos County Chair of the Republican Party and on the County's Planning and Zoning Commission. Joe and Fran moved to Albuquerque in 1998. An active supporter of the YMCA, he was also a member of the Zia Rifle Club. Joe was a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is also survived by daughters Joann Rosinski, Donna Holland and husband Daniel, and Leah DiMarco; grandchildren Alex Rosinski, Erica Rosinski, Lauren Holland and Lindsey Holland. DONIVAN -- Henry Charles ("Charlie") Donivan passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora, in 2004. Born in Pine Hill, NY on March 25, 1918, Charlie was an aerospace pioneer whose career started in 1947 in Ft. Bliss, TX working with Wernher von Braun on the German V series rockets brought over from Germany after WWII. He then worked on the Redstone missile project at White Sands Missile Range. Later he joined the Apollo Mission at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Clear Lake City, TX where he tested the lunar module engines in preparation for the lunar landing. He retired some time after Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. An avid fly fisherman, he could pluck fish out of streams that most would think impossible. He loved the outdoors until his age wouldn't permit the exertion anymore. Charlie was much loved by all and shall be sorely missed. Mr. Donivan is survived by his five children, Junith (Larry), David, Stephen(Mary), John (Jo-Ann) and Robert(Shirley); four grandchildren, Michelle, Michael (Lisa), Steve, Nick and three great-grandchildren, BreAnna, Sean and Reid. The family would like to thank his care-giver, Bernard Tolentino, whose gentle help made it possible for Charlie to remain in his home until his final days. EASLEY -- Gustava Easley, 98, passed away on October 14, 2009. She was born in Comanche, TX October 31, 1910. She grew up in Portales, NM and attended school there graduating from High School. She continued her education at Abilene Business College preparing to be a secretary. She resided and worked for many years in Midland, TX where she was employed as an executive secretary for Getty Oil Co. After retiring she moved back to Portales, NM to help with the care of her parents so that they could continue to live in their own home in their final years. Some years later she moved to Albuquerque and was a resident of LaVida Llena Retirement Center for 12 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, S.P. and Elizabeth Easley; a sister, Nora Beth Little of Arkansas; and a brother, Gayle Easley of CA. She is survived by brothers Dr. G. T. Easley of OK and Vernon Easley of Albuquerque; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church. GARCIA -- Michelle Renee Garcia. On October 7, 2009, Michelle Garcia, a young 41, joined her father, Reyes Garcia; and grandparents, Sisto & Mela Garcia, in heaven. Michelle leaves behind her loving family. Maria (Garcia) Crosley, her mother, whom she cherished. Her loving step-dad, Larry Crosley, whom she loved like a father. Her sister, Christine (Tina) Garcia, her soul mate. Her brother, Reyes M. Garcia and sister-in-law, Angela and their children, Lexi, Cambree, Abigayl and Miryam whom she loved with all her heart. She also leaves behind her very special grandparents, Jesse G. and Delia Lopez. Michelle and Tina (Chrissy as she called her) were each other's anchor their whole life, living the life of true, true sisterhood. They shared their home, their work and their lives together. They laughed, they cried, they spent Christmas morning together. Michelle was so excited to be graduating soon as a Pharmacy Tech and start a new career. Michelle loved the New York Giants, loved to dance, loved her lifelong friends and loved being with family. She loved music and loved to sing, with a voice of an angel. She dreamed of seeing her nieces get married. Michelle's death leaves a void that will never be filled. No one can ever take her place. One minute she was here and now she is gone. Our hearts are broken forever. The world has lost a wonderful daughter, sister, aunty, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. But God needed somebody in heaven who is as special as you. Nothing is the same now and we doubt it ever will be. We miss you Michelle and we will love you forever and ever. GUTIERREZ -- Luciano Gutierrez, 68, was called by our Heavenly Father on October 12, 2009. Luciano was born April 27, 1941, in Dexter, New Mexico. He was preceded by his parents, Erenio and Jovita Gutierrez; and one brother, Rafael Gutierrez. Luciano was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan Gutierrez; a daughter, Melissa and her husband, Romeo Medina; two sons, James and his wife, Gerri Gutierrez, Robert and his wife Nichole Gutierrez; and seven grandchildren, Adriana, Gabriel, Michael, Micayla, Landon, Andrew, and Jared. Luciano is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, Adelina, David, Danny, Caroline, Erenio Jr., Ramon, Margaret, Christopher, Irene, and Angela. He was respected and admired by all of those who knew him and will be greatly missed. Tony was a Mariachi of New Mexico and loved his music as well as making everyone laugh. ORTIZ -- Amy Ortiz, 69, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, October 12, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Romeo Ortiz; sons, Anthony Ortiz and wife, Karen, and Reuben Ortiz; grandchildren, Brandon and Leslie Ortiz, and Jade and Gabriel Ortiz; siblings, Olivia Rendon and husband, Rudy, Arturo Portillo and wife, Nancy, Lourdes Barela and husband, George, Ricardo Portillo and wife, Sheila, Estevan Portillo and Anna, JoAnn Cruzan, Patricio Portillo and Anabella, Lorenzo Portillo and wife, Lenora, Tomas Portillo and wife, Lisa, Rogerio Portillo and wife, Karen, and Anselmo Portillo and wife, Jackie; and beloved pet, "Ringo". Amy was the Fiesta Princess of Santa Fe Fiestas. She met Romeo "Sonny" in 1961. She moved to Los Angeles in 1964 and worked for the LA Water and Power Authority while Romeo was in the Navy. They married in April of 1967. In 1968 they moved back to Albuquerque where they raised their family. Amy worked for and retired from the University of New Mexico. She loved music and dancing with her star, Sonny, as well as spending time with her family, especially in the outdoors. PRANGLEY -- Kathy A. Prangley, 52, a resident of Placitas, New Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 with her family at her bedside. Kathy was born May 14, 1957 the daughter of Melvin and Theresa Brest in Allegan, Michigan. Kathy married her husband Jim in 1979 and to escape the cold Michigan winters moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1981. Kathy obtained her Bachelor's degree from the University of Albuquerque in 1985 and shortly after earned her CPA. Kathy operated a successful Accounting practice in New Mexico for the past 25 years. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Theresa Brest. Kathy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jim Prangley of Placitas, New Mexico; two sons, Sean Prangley and wife, Andrea of Albuquerque, and Troy Prangley of Albuquerque; brother, Bruce Brest and wife, Penny of Colorado; and sister, Linda Mackey of Wayland, Michigan. Kathy requested the family honor her passing, with a "Celebration of Life" get together, which will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at their Placitas home. SEDILLO -- Orlando Sedillo was born March 25, 1953 in Mountainair, New Mexico. He passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 at the age of 56. He is survived by his children, Chris Sedillo, Elizabeth Sedillo and Annette Sedillo; his grandchildren, Ariel and Seth Sedillo, Jordan and Sarah Martinez; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. SELLERS -- Gracie Sellers passed to life eternal on Saturday, October 10, 2009, after a short illness following a cancer diagnosis. She was born in Miller's Ferry, Alabama in 1939, and was a graduate of Knoxville College in Tennessee. Gracie devoted her life to education, teaching a total of 48 years, 16 years at Menaul School, one year at Queen of Heaven, and 32 years at Manzano High School. She is survived by two sisters, Gladys Sellers and Margaret Ransom, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust, NE,( off of I-25, between MLK and Central ) at 1:00 p.m. with a reception following in Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Protect the Pride, Manzano High School, 12200 Lomas Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. STEVENS -- Adela Patricia Stevens, 47, went home suddenly to be with the Lord. Adela is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Antoinette & Robert Cordova; grandchild, Jasmine Cordova; mother, Annabel Stevens; sisters, Carmen Chavez and Priscilla Stevens; brother, Transito Stevens; "her baby" Dolly and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews and friends. Even though the reality of losing Adela is so real, her love for each one of us will live in our hearts forever. Viewing will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., again at 6:00 p.m. with a short service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing and funeral will be held at Riverside Funeral Home located at 225 San Mateo Blvd NE in Albuquerque.
