ANDERSON -- Darlene Grace Eversmeyer On October 24, 2008, Darlene Grace Eversmeyer Anderson joined her Lord and Savior and those who have gone before. She was born on June 29, 1925 in Wapello, IA, where she completed High School and enrolled in Nurses training. She completed her Medical Technologist Degree in 1949 at the Franklin School of Science and Arts, in Philadelphia, PA. She worked at various hospitals and doctors offices both in Iowa and Illinois. She married Richard G. Anderson of Laurens, IA on April 25, 1950. They moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1958, where she was employed by the Veterans Administration Hospital until 1982. Darlene and Richard relocated to Elephant Butte, NM in 1983. Darlene was very active in the community and touched the lives of all who knew her. In 1969, she was initiated into Desert Rose Chapter of "The Order of the Eastern Star" in Albuquerque. She transferred her membership to Hot Springs Chapter #58, where she proudly served as the Chapter Secretary for many years. She held many other Eastern Star offices through the years including "Worthy Matron", "Grand Ruth", and "Grand Representative to Minnesota". Darlene was also very active in the Masonic youth groups, serving multiple terms on the local International Order of Rainbow for Girls Assembly Advisory Board and supporting her sons while they were active in the Order of DeMolay. She was two-term president of the Sierra Vista Hospital Lady's Auxiliary, a past president of the local "National Association of Retired Federal Employees" Chapter 1341, active in the local chapter of RSVP, and a 50-year member of the American Medical Technologist, receiving their most prestigious award "The Order of the Golden Microscope". Darlene was a valued volunteer at the Geronimo Springs Museum in Truth or Consequences, NM. She was also very actively involved with her church and local bible study groups. She is survived by her brother, Louis Eversmeyer of California; and her three sons, Arthur E. Anderson and wife Phyllis of Crane, TX, Brian R. Anderson and wife Janice of Albuquerque, NM, Clinton P. Anderson and wife Jo of Elephant Butte, NM. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Flint, Deborah, Chauncey, Jimmy, Toni, TJ, Charlotte, Brian, and Kasey; along with 12 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the Bethesda Masonic Lodge on 715 Main St. in Truth or Consequences, NM. BACHECHI -- Betsy Anne Bachechi, a resident of the area for many years, passed away at her home in Edgewood, NM late Friday morning, October 24, 2008 following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 16, 1962 to Harry William Frankel and Eleanor Ruth Tritinger Frankel in Pittsburgh, PA. Mrs. Bachechi was married to her husband Arthur in April of 1983. Mrs. Bachechi had been a certified insurance counselor for decades who was recognized by her peers. She was a member of United Baptist Church of Edgewood, NM She is lovingly remembered by her family as having a zest for life. Betsy valued friends and family above all. She was a loving Wife and Mother who treasured family life and nurturing her children. Betsy will be missed by her family and friends she leaves behind. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Arthur J. Bachechi of the family home in Edgewood; three daughters; Amber Eichstedt and her husband Ole of Albuquerque, Alysha Bachechi of Edgewood, NM Ariana Bachechi of Edgewood, NM; one brother, Greg Frankel and his wife Sheila of Denver, CO; three sisters, Sue Burns and her husband Michael of Rio Rancho, NM, Marie Kelsey of Albuquerque, NM, Barbie Marshall and her husband Mike of Hobbs, NM. Numerous nephews and nieces survive as well. In addition, three foreign exchange students whom she cared for like her own children, Laurence Billett of Montreal Canada, Tauin Couto MD of Belem, Brazil, and Kito Leong of Hong Kong, China. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry William Frankel and Eleanor Ruth Tritinger. CAPRETTI -- Josephine Mary Capretti, (AKA -Spacagna), 92, passed away on October 23, 2008. She was born September 24, 1916 to Rose and Peter Scaffedi, in Cleveland, OH. Josephine spent most her life in Ohio, moving to Albuquerque, NM in 1998. She is survived by her three sons, Peter Spacagna, Raymond Spacagna and his wife Kathy, and Ronald Spacagna, all of Albuquerque, NM; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Elvira Young of Brooklyn Heights, OH; and many nephews and nieces. Josephine is preceded in death by two husbands, Oreste Spacagna, and John Capretti; four brothers, Peter, Ralph, Libby and Rudy Scaffedi. CHAVEZ -- Solomon Chavez, 92, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years who was born in Brazil, Marianeuza Bahia Chavez; two daughters, Terry Lujan and Marcy Montoya; five brothers Ray, Eloy, Johnny, Willie and Benito; two sisters Beatrice Sandoval and Josie Wasson; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Mr. Chavez was loved by all who knew him and will always be remembered as a wonderful musician. He retired from Sandia National Labs after 30 years. Cremation has taken place. CROWTHER -- James I. Crowther Jr., age 68, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008. He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Fraser and husband, Robert of Albuquerque, Carolyn Roller and husband, Michael of Fort Collins, CO and Cristin Crowther of Albuquerque; and his sister, Nancy Berman and husband, Robert of Woodstock, MD. Jim was blessed with six grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary and Nathaniel Fraser, and Rachel, Joshua, and Adam Roller. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Crowder; and two precious grandchildren, Patrick and Amy Fraser. Jim was born in Baltimore, MD in 1940 to James and Estelle Crowther and was married to Linda Gempp Crowther from 1961 to 1998. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1961 and served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. Jim's service included two combat tours of duty in Vietnam plus assignments in Germany, Taiwan, and locations throughout the US. He earned a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering and taught at West Point in addition to his command, staff, advisory, and research assignments. Jim retired from the Army in 1981 at the rank of Lt. Colonel. His military decorations include five Bronze Star medals, the Legion of Merit, the Air Medal and others. Jim moved to Albuquerque in 1981 and joined Sandia National Laboratories where he worked for 21 years. His activities at Sandia Labs centered on analysis of conventional and nuclear military operations and weapon systems, and included interaction with a wide range of military agencies in the US and overseas. Jim retired from Sandia Labs in 2002 and enjoyed travel, military history, sports, and family activities. He maintained contact with fellow Vietnam veterans, especially from the First Infantry Division and the First Combat Engineer Battalion. DELAHOUSSAYE -- Sherill Ann Delahoussaye died on October 24, 2008 after a long and valiant battle with breast cancer. Born May 16, 1947 to Althemus Joseph & Leona Delahoussaye in Washington D.C. Sherill is survived by her son John M. Dugas and his wife, Paulette Dugas, grandchildren Julian and Ethan Dugas, ex-husband and friend John F. Dugas, mother Leona Delahoussaye, brothers Althemus Joseph and Brian Delahoussaye, his wife Margaret Delahoussaye and their children Julie, Stephen, Michael, Kevin and grandchild Patrick. Sherill was raised in Los Angeles, CA, graduated from the University of Southern California, and received her Masters in Public Health from UC Berkeley and JD MBA from UCLA. In 1973 she declared her belief to the Bahai Faith principles and became a Bahai. She lived a devoted life of service to her fellow man, entering the Peace Corps at age 22 and going to Niger, Africa for two years. Her specialty in the Peace Corps was maternity care and child rearing. Sherill spent over twenty-five years working in the law profession as a corporate health care attorney. Some of her most rewarding work occurred in her last five years of life caring for her mother who suffers from dementia. This experience inspired Sherill to own, operate, and work in Tender Heart Assisted Living. She truly loved her residents and relished the opportunity to care for them during the twilight years of their lives. She shared a special relationship with her friends and her only child. EILAND -- Carol King Holcomb Eiland On October 26, 2008, Carol King Holcomb Eiland walked through Heaven's Gates and into the arms of Jesus. Carol was born March 18, 1924, in Prescott, AR, to parents Addie Arabelle King Holcomb and Joseph Thomas Holcomb. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Carol Eiland Rogers and husband, Terry of Albuquerque, NM; son Thomas Frederick Eiland, of Denton, TX; brother John David Holcomb of North Little Rock, AR; grandchildren Michael Sean Rogers, M. D. and wife Karen, M. D., of Bend, OR; Jennifer Rogers Villinski and husband Jeff of El Ma'adi, Egypt; Megan Sara Eiland of Denton, TX and Adam Eiland of Denton, TX; great-grandchildren, Julia Rose, Emma Grace and Benjamin Jacob Villinski of Egypt. FOGLEMAN -- Lonam Russell "Buggs" Fogleman, 89, died peacefully at Beehive 3 in Farmington, NM on Sunday, October 26, 2008. He was born November 11, 1918 in Monroe, LA, to Joel E. and Rosa Marguerite Fogleman. Lonams parents preceded him in death; as did his older brother, Joel E. Fogleman. He married Ollie May Kachel on July 4, 1944 in Beaver, OK. Lonam was an Army Air Corps veteran and served two tours overseas during World War II. He worked as an electrician and was a proud member of IBEW Local 611 for 57 years. Lonam is survived by his wife of 64 years; three children, Lonam Russell Fogleman, Jr. and wife, Janet of Albuquerque, NM, Margie Perry and husband James of Rio Rancho, NM, and Louis Fogleman and wife Linda of Farmington, NM. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Marcy Cook, Lonam Russell Fogleman III, Jamie James and husband Jerry, Clay Sewell and Shannon, Renee Byrd and husband Barry, Heather Faverino and husband Dwayne, and Heath Fogleman and wife Amy; and many loving great-grandchildren, family and friends. GILBERT -- Betty Alberta Smith Gilbert, 67, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2008. She was born March 27, 1941 on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation, in Hoopa, CA to Arthur Albert Smith, member of the Salish and Kootenai Nation, and Hazel Wixon, a descendant Cree. She is survived by her son, Terry Hatfield and his wife, Sheila Gorman, caretaker and loving daughter in law; her daughter Mellissa Gilbert; and her sister, Jaune Quick-to See Smith, member of the Salish and Kootenai Nation and Jaune's husband F. Andrew Ambrose, all of Albuquerque. GUEVARA -- (Jimmy) Santiago, born July 25, 1940, died Friday, October 24, 2008 of a massive heart attack. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Maria; and three brothers, Abel, Manuel, and Guadalupe Jr. He is survived by three sisters, Helen Vera and husband Eloy, Antonia Tkacik and husband Dennis, and Josie Hernandez and husband Joe; four brothers, Abraham and Geneva Guevara, David Guevara, Bernie and Anna Guevara, and Ernest Joe Guevara; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmy was currently employed at Conoco/Phillips 66 station on Coors Blvd. NW, and caregiver for lifelong friend Joe Guillen. GUTH -- Barbara Guth, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2008 after a long illness. Born in Kansas City, MO, she grew up in Iola, KS, and after high school attended Trinity Lutheran School of Nursing in Kansas City, earning an RN diploma and working as a nurse. In 1961 Barbara and John Guth were married, subsequently moving to Albuquerque and starting a family. In 1976 she began attending UNM, earning a BA and a MA in English. She joined the staff of UNM Press, working for sixteen years as secretary, editor and managing editor before retiring in 2000. She was active in the Master Gardener's organization and enjoyed tutoring reading at Osuna School. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Dr. G.B. Pees. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Pees of Lawrence, KS; her mother-in-law, Virginia Guth of Albuquerque; her husband and best friend, John Guth of the family home; son, Jason Guth of Tempe, AZ; daughter, Sarah Klenner and husband Jeff of Harrison Township, MI; six beloved grandchildren, Peter and Jill Guth of Tempe, AZ; Josie Kemp of Reno, NV, and Amy Kemp, Darby and Brad Klenner of Harrison Township, MI; brother, Gerald Pees and wife Jeanne of Lawrence, KS; and sister, Chrystine Churas and husband John of Mebane, NC. HILTBRUNNER -- Walter Hiltbrunner, 81, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM since 1971, died October 25, 2008 at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. Proudly serving his country as Merchant Marine then enlisting in the Navy, he traveled the world, honorably discharged in 1954 with a rank of EM1. A professional electrician, he excelled in many areas. His passion was astronomy, building not only telescopes but observatories to house them while photographing and recording the heavens. He spent half his life in Westwood and Greenwood Lake, NJ, later relocating to NM. He is survived by nephews, David Hefti of Largo, FL, Dennis Hefti of Lincoln, MT, Al Hiltbrunner of Madera, CA; nieces, Barbara Rowlenson of Columbia, SC, Allyne Holub of Corona, CA, Edna Watts of North Haldon, NJ and Audrey Johnson of Crystal River, FL; and many numerous great nieces and nephews. LUCERO -- ERVINIA On Sunday, October 26, 2008, the Lord's Spirit descended upon Ervinia Lucero, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, bestowing upon her two beautiful golden wings, enabling her to fly away to Heaven to join her husband, Willie; daughter, Lorie; sons, Willie Jr., Johnny Robert; and great-grandson, Luke. Ervinia is survived by son, Ben and wife Wendy; daughter Carolyn and husband Don; daughter, Linda; son, David; grandson, Dax; eight granddaughters, Breyanna, Brooke and husband David, Shannon and husband Wally and their mother, Norma, Michelle, Courtney, Talia and husband Elgie; Reyna and Patricia and their mother, Johanna; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Logan, Liam, Haley and Kameron; one brother; and two sisters. She was born in Cuba, NM on April 10, 1928 to Pedro and Sophia Cebada. She was a self taught, accomplished musician, and it didn't take much prodding to get her to play a polka on her accordion. She loved to dance, and won several dance contests with her husband Willie. But, her favorite pastimes were traveling and her garden. She was always teased that she was born with a green thumb; everything that she touched in life flourished and was beautiful. Mom/Grandma, we love you, and will miss you greatly. MARQUEZ -- Ramon G. Marquez, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on October 25, 2008. Mr. Marquez was born on January 26, 1935 to Florencio and Carmen Marquez in Denver, CO. MCANDREW -- James Francis McAndrew, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951, passed away Monday, October 27, 2008 at his home. He was born in Carbondale, PA to Walter Thomas McAndrew and Helen Rose Kirkwood. He graduated from Ben Franklin High School, Carbondale in 1949. He served in the United States Air Force, as Airman First Class from 1951 to 1955. Before retiring in 1989, he was employed by Qwest (Mountain Bell) as a pay phone installer/repairman. While stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base, James met Patricia Ann Lusk, daughter of Benjamin Lusk and Bula Alexander. James and Patricia were married in July 1954 at St. Anne's Catholic Church of Albuquerque, and had one daughter and two sons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in May 1992; and his brother, William in April 1992. He is survived by his daughter, Mary McAndrew; two sons, James Frank McAndrew and wife, Katherine (Kitty) and William McAndrew, all of Albuquerque; One brother Walter McAndrew and wife Gloria of Jacksonville, FL.; brother-in-law Louie Lusk of Albuquerque; two sisters-in-law Peggy Napoleone of Albuquerque and Cora Manning and husband Wayne of Silver City, NM and many nieces and nephews. MONTOYA -- Joseph E. Montoya, age 56, a life-long resident of Casa Colorada, NM passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 26, 2008. Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War with the 3rd Recon Squadron-11th US Calvary. NORWOOD -- Vicki Lee Norwood, 57, a 35 year resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Bobby Moore; and her dog Dodge. She is survived by her daughter, Lacy; step-daughter, Wyndi Johnson; granddaughter, Jordan Norwood-Hopper; parents, Bob and Mary Moore; and her devoted significant other, Derwin "Butch" Hamilton all of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Kent Moore and family of Loveland, CO; as well as hundreds of friends and relatives. She spent her life working in the medical field, the last 16 years as an Ultrasound Tech. She led a full life and enjoyed activities such as walking her dog, going dancing with friends, and visiting with neighbors. Vicki was a member of the Covenant United Methodist Church. RODRIGUEZ -- Ann Therese Rodriguez, died at the young age of 48 in her sleep at home in Albuquerque, on October 27, 2008. She was born March 1, 1960 in Spencerport, NY to Emily and Ronald Schultz who both preceded her in death. She is survived by sister, Donna; brothers, Ron and his wife, Leo and Alma, and David Schultz and his son, DC. Ann grew up on a 50 acre farm in Albion, NY where she spent most of her childhood. At the age of ten, Ann and her family moved to New Mexico where the weather would benefit her father's health. Ann attended Taylor Middle School in Rio Rancho, and graduated from Cibola High School in 1978. At the age of 18, she met her future husband, Edward James Rodriguez, son of Edward and Emma Rodriguez. Six months later, on November 3, 1979, they married in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. After their marriage, they moved to Gallup. They resided there for 28 years, raising firstborn daughter, Michelle Liane Norris, wife to husband Sean Norris, and twins Edward Anthony and Sandra Ann Rodriguez and her fiance Justin Fjelseth and his children Tristyn and Destiny. Ann and Ed also owned and operated Rodriguez Pumping in Gallup. She was also a distributor with the Albuquerque Journal and Tribune for 27 years, finally retiring in 2007, returning to Albuquerque at that time. SEAMAN-BOYLAN -- Zena Seaman-Boylan, 86, beloved and cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008 after a brief but valiant battle with acute leukemia surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by husband, Lewis Seaman in 1960 and second husband, Mike Boylan of Santa Fe. She is survived by son, "Guy" Seaman and wife, Shirley of Santa Fe; daughter, Sylvia Hauser and husband, "Pat" of Albuquerque, and daughter "Margie" Trujillo of Abiquiu, NM; grandchildren, Rena Rulley, Heath Seaman, Brett Seaman, Lee Hauser, Patrick Trujillo, Lane Hauser, Tanner Trujillo; and eight great-grandchildren. Zena Rucker was born to Oscar and Margaret Rucker who settled in Regina, NM after a long horse and wagon journey. Later moved to AZ along the Colorado River where they were ranchers. After marrying Lewis they moved to Clayton, NM and were ranchers. Later began a career of 28 years in grocery then real estate and finally a passionate Real Estate Developer. Her challenges were many and each was met with total determination. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. SEQUIST -- Victoria Sequist, 65, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 15 years, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Victoria was born December 29, 1942 the daughter of Onesimo and Manuelita Romero Cordova in Taos Pueblo, NM. She was a member of the Taos Pueblo tribe. Victoria was an avid reader, gardener, did arts and crafts (pottery and crochet), enjoyed traveling, and had a special love for her grandchildren. Victoria is survived by her husband of over 38 years, Jack Sequist; five children, James Weahkee, Stephanie Macapagal, Dion Weahkee, Kimberly Sequist and husband Frank Maestas all of Rio Rancho, and Dr. Thomas Sequist and wife Dr. Lecia Sequist of Boston, MA; seven grandchildren, Victoria Macapagal, Tina Macapagal, Kaitlyn Sequist, Christopher Maestas, Jackson Sequist, Gabriel Sequist, and Kassandra Weahkee; brothers and sisters, Beatrice Lujan and husband Vincent of Taos, NM, Jerry Cordova and wife Lorraine Edmo of Washington, DC, Mary Billy of Rio Rancho, NM, James Cordova, Joseph Cordova, and Miriam Cordova, all of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. SMITH -- William Davis (Bill) Smith, age 76, died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. Bill was born in Sunflower County, MS on November 19, 1931 to William Clarence Smith and Catherine Roberts Smith. He graduated from Sunflower Agricultural High School and Delta Community College, then received his Bachelor's Degree from Mississippi Southern University. After graduating, his asthma necessitated a drier climate, so he moved to Roswell, NM to begin his teaching career. One of his favorite stories was of his arrival as a "southern boy" from Mississippi in New Mexico and being taught to eat enchiladas by the mother of the wonderful family with whom he lived in Roswell. Bill moved to Albuquerque to begin working on a Master's Degree at the University of New Mexico in 1955. He taught at Mark Twain Elementary School. Soon he met Sara Dawn Mitcham, a teacher at Hawthorne Elementary. They married in 1956. In June, 2006 they celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary with family and friends, appropriately at a restaurant serving New Mexican/Mexican food. Their children, Elizabeth (Beth), Virginia (Ginny), and Dwight, brought Bill his greatest pride and joy, together with their grandchildren. Bill Smith was known for his professionalism in his career. After receiving a Master's degree and a Doctorate at the University of New Mexico, Bill worked as a professor at the University of Maryland where he helped implement a new program in Clinical Supervision. The family moved to College Station, Texas in 1972. Bill was a professor of Education at Texas A. & M. University, where he taught classes and worked with student teachers. Returning to Albuquerque in 1973, he began to work jointly with the University of New Mexico and the Albuquerque Public Schools. Later he used his proficiency in research to become an Evaluation Specialist for APS. Bill and Sara Dawn were partners in every aspect of their home and professional lives, with Sara Dawn teaching at Texas A.& M. and becoming a professor at U.N.M. Their professional travels to the Dominican Republic and the country of Chile were highlights of continuing travels to Latin countries where they studied the Spanish language. They worked in, and traveled to, Mexico, Guatemala, and Venezuela. In his many friendships and in his family Bill was known for his wonderful storytelling, his wit, and his delightful sense of humor. Bill was predeceased by his daughter, Virginia Smith-Hopkins. He is survived by his wife, Sara Dawn Smith, his daughter, Beth, his son, Dwight and daughter-in-law, Kim, and granddaughters, Mackenzie and Erin, his son-in-law Jim Hopkins, his grandson, Daniel, his sister, Virginia Moore, as well as cousins Julius Roberts, David Roberts and Patricia Donovan. SPUHLER -- Fred Morgan Spuhler, Jr., 68 of Albuquerque passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at his home. He was born in Harrisburg, PA on July 18, 1940 to Frederick and Marion (Kuethe) Spuhler. Fred is survived by his wife Carol; children Fred Spuhler, III and wife Connie, John Spuhler and wife Melissa, and Julie Lovato and husband Erik; step-children Todd Kirkman and Kristen Kirkman; grandchildren Philip, Stephanie, Jonathan, Kyle, Leo, Erika and Gabriel. He was a graduate of the University of Arizona. Fred served his country as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed for 25 years with First National Bank and currently for the past 12 years with First Community Bank as Senior Vice President - Treasury Management. Fred's primary focus with First Community Bank was always on the customer and the customer experience. He was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church. Fred was a friend to all. His best friend and wife, Carol, enjoyed every moment together. They loved spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed his morning runs with his special group of friends and best dog Molly. Fred was always quick with a smile and kind word. He would carry a conversation with anyone. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will always be in our hearts. WINSLOW -- Barbara Ann (Spiker) Winslow Family and friends are saddened at the sudden passing of Barbara Ann Winslow on October 24, 2008. She was born in Harrison County, OH on July 12, 1928. She and her husband, Dr. Walter Winslow, have been residents of Albuquerque since 1966. Barbara celebrated her 80th birthday on July 12, 2008 among family and friends in San Diego, CA. Barbara was an active member of the UNM Hospital Service League for over 30 years. In the 70's she was active in the production of plays at the Albuquerque Little Theater. Barbara enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Albuquerque Garden Club for many years. She was a jazz enthusiast, a member of the Albuquerque Jazz Workshop and attended many jazz festivals around the country. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Richard Spiker. ZANIOS -- Eve A. Zanios, co-founder, matriarch and ambassador for Zanios Foods, Inc., passed away Monday, October 27, 2008. She is in the arms of her Savior Jesus and she was in the loving care of Susan and Celina for the last couple of months.
