ISAMINGER -- Sondra Isaminger was a beloved wife, mother and an outstanding member of her immediate family. She was a professional singer who devoted much of the latter part of her life to Christian ministry. That ministry took the form of a musical group reaching out to the community at large. Her singing was strong, vibrant and came from her soul. She sang with many local groups over a period of 35 years; the last 10 with an R&B Funk Soul band named "Under the Influence." She loved cooking, entertaining, fashion, gardening, and much more. Through the years of battling three stage four cancers, she never once complained, whined or asked, "Why me?" Her trust in her Lord Jesus is what gave her the strength and peace to endure her battle with the scourge of cancer. She dealt with it with courage and dignity. She will be missed tremendously by a large community. She will live on through those who she mentored and who were deeply impacted by her having touched their lives. She leaves a great legacy.
