VAN WINKLE -- Phyllis Ann Van Winkle, 59, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Her parents, Delmer and Phyllis Audrey Van Winkle; and her brother, John Paul Van Winkle, preceded her in death. Her sister, Bernice Kae Sanchez and brother-in-law, Paul Sanchez; her nephews, Rick, Marc and Keith; and numerous other family members, survive her. Ann was a very caring and kind person who touched the lives of many with her thoughtfulness. Although she had many illnesses and medical problems throughout her life, she never complained and retained a positive outlook on life, always trying to live as normally as possible. WHEELER -- Harold Wheeler February 23, 1939 - November 24, 2007 He'll be remembered by his love of life and his family and friends. He touched many hearts and was a very respected man. He was preceded in death by his parents, Blanche and Ray Wheeler of Knoxville, TN; and his son, Eddie Wheeler of Los Lunas. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 50 years, Sandra; brothers, Glen and wife, Stephanie, Mike; and sister, Gladys, all from Tennessee; sons, David and wife, Connie, Russell and fiancee, Kelly; and daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Jasmine Vineyard, Richard Wheeler, Lacey and Sidney Wheeler, and mother, Lavette, Jeffrey Brown, Amanda and JT Murray; great-grandchildren, Alexa and Drake Murray; many other nieces and nephews. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Services to be held at the First Baptist Church of Los Lunas, at 914 Los Lentes Rd. SE, on December 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.

ZELASKA -- Martha Zelaska, age 82, of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord, Monday, November 26, 2007. Martha grew up in Johnson City, NY. She worked at Wilson Hospital as a housekeeper for 10 years before retiring. In recent years, she relocated to Albuquerque, and also lived in Rio Rancho. Martha is survived by sons, Raymond Zelaska and wife, Diane, and Russell Zelaska; daughter, Rebecca Jackson and husband, William; brother, John Kuzemka and wife, Irene; grandchildren, Nicholas, Tanya, Alicia, and Emma. She was preceded in death by parents, Metro "Pop" and Anna Kuzemka; brother, Metro "Mit" Kuzemka, Jr.; and sister, Olga Foyt. A Memorial Service was held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4301 Atrisco Dr. NW, Friday, November 30, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cerebral Palsy Parents Association, attn: John Chimarusti, 1127 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102-1715. ZERI -- Mildred Elizabeth Zeri, aged 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2007. She was born on June 21, 1912, in Nederland, TX. Mildred was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, having moved here from the Chicago area in 1962. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy, and Metz Zeri, her husband of 46 years. Mildred is survived by daughter, Geri Malek and husband, Jim; and daughter, Patricia Kunz; sons, Matt Zeri and wife, Mitzi, Teri Zeri and wife, Bernadette, Steve Zeri and wife, Jan. She has 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. The family will hold a private celebration to commemorate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
