Eliza Romero Ulibarri Martinez, 75, passed away May 27, 2007 in Albuquerque. She had lived in Albuquerque since 1962. Eliza was an active member and devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband, Everisto Martinez; two brothers, Manuel Ulibarri of Portland, OR, and Mayo Ulibarri of Albuquerque; three sisters, Vivian Aragon and Flora Opel of Albuquerque, and Delores Serna and husband, Benny of Bosque Farms; three sons, Everitt Dean Martinez and wife, Jeanette, David E. Martinez, and Edmond Daniel Martinez, all of Albuquerque; two grandchildren, Amanda L. Martinez and Aaron Dean Martinez; one great-granddaughter, Angelica L. Martinez, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Ramon Ulibarri (KIAWII) Daniel Ulibarri, Carlos Ulibarri, Gilberto Ulibarri, Anastacio Ulibarri, and Herminio Ulibarri; and three sisters, Amalia Stamper, Verna Monagham, and Belen Aured. Eliza was an extraordinary woman, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always gave of herself and never asked for anything in return. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Services will be conducted on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Methodist Church, 3715 Silver Ave. SE, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Adeline A. Mirabal, a native of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2007. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joe E. Mirabal; children, Rudolph Barncastle and wife, Pam, LeRoy Barncastle, of Santa Barbara, CA, Irene Cox, and husband, Miller Dean, Lorraine Verhest and husband, Joe; stepsons, John and Stan Mirabal and wife, Mary; brothers, James Armijo and wife, Lily, Orlando Armijo and wife, Madelyn; sister, Fita Salas; grandchildren, Lynn, and John Barncastle, Marlene Baum and husband, Steve, Christopher Barncastle, Tammy Oberholtzer, David Sanchez and wife, Lisa, and Darren Sanchez, Dean and Deanne Cox, and Desiree Pepin and husband, Mike; 20 great-grandchildren; and several other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John B. Barncastle and brothers, Victor and Salvador Armijo. Adeline lived life with zeal and enjoyed everything beautiful that it had to offer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandma. Her favorite saying was "Enjoy what it is before it isn't." A Rosary will be recited Thursday, May 31, 2007, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. QUINTANA --
John C. Quintana, 75, was called to be with our Lord Sunday May 20, 2007 after many years of battling with Parkinson's Disease. Surrounded by his loving wife Lucarita Griego-Quintana, and their children Dennis, Robert, Leroy, Anthony, Michael, Nicolas and Anna Lou. John had 14 grandchildren and one angel, Katherine Rameriz; sister, Carmen Lucero; brothers, Joe, Henry, and Ray Quintana. Preceded in death: parents, Guadalupe and Maria Quintana and Esmael and Anna Maria Griego. He left behind nephews, nieces, primos, primas, amigos, amigas and compadres. He loved life, loved people young and old. He was born in Llanito north of Bernalillo. He was a Veteran and served in Korea, later moved to Herperia, California. Services will be held on Friday June 1, 2007 in Victorville, CA at Desert View Memorial Park.

William J. Romero, 74, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2007. He is survived by son, Bill Joe Romero; daughters, Celeste Romero and Cheryl Romero Brown and husband, Joe; granddaughters, Michelle Brown and Roberta Moree; grandsons, Daniel Brown, Samuel Brown, Matthew Moree, and Dylan Moree; great-grandson, William Dante Susco; great-granddaughters, Monique Nicole Montano, Sage Baros Brown, and Genesis Marie Montano; sister, Edith Giacomoro; and brother, Ronnie Romero. Mr. Romero was preceded in death by his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Anna Marie Romero; and parents, Sam Romero and Lena Hamilton. He was an electrician with Yearout Electric for many years and later owned and operated Force Electric until his retirement. In addition to being a loving husband and wonderful father, Mr. Romero was a very talented artist and craftsman. His wisdom, insight, and love will always be cherished by his family. Timothy John Ruley, 54, a resident of Albany, GA, died suddenly May 15, 2007. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Konougres Ruley; aunt, Helyn Moyer; and cousin, Anne Parsons. He is survived by his wife, Shelby Ruley of Albany, GA; father, Robert Ray Ruley of Albuquerque; sister, Robin Rotolo and husband, Joe of Gonzales, LA; sister, Laura and husband, Greg of Corrales; nephews, Matthew Hartline and wife, Cristy of Albuquerque, Garret Speer of Corrales; and nieces, Kelly and Erica Speer of Corrales; four step-children; nine grandchildren; and two great-grand-children; and many cousins and friends. Tim is remembered as a man with a wonderful sense of humor and love of life. Services were held at Matthews Funeral Home in Albany, GA.

Daniel (Danny) A. Temple, 38, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007. Danny was born January 13, 1969, the son of Edmund Ted and Ruth Marlene Meade Temple in Redwood City, CA. He had worked as an installer in the Interior Decorating business. Danny was an avid fisherman, and loved watching sports. Danny was preceded in death by two half brothers, Tom and Les Temple. He is survived by his mother, Ruth M. Houston and husband, William of Albuquerque; his father, Edmund Temple; one sister, Jill Temple of California. Danny had many friends and will be sorely missed by many people. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 714 4th Street, Albuquerque, NM 87102. TERWILLIGER --
Anna Mae Terwilliger passed away peacefully March 7, 2007. She was born in Parsons, KS, December 13, 1911. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 1/2 years, A. Richard (Dick) Terwilliger; her parents, Ethel and John Gabriel; and her sister, Emogene Chrisman. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Wormeli and husband, Paul of Reston, VA; her daughter, Martha Meister and husband, David of Albuquerque; her grandsons, Richard Wormeli and wife, Kelly of Herndon, VA, Benjamin Wormeli and wife, Natalie of Davis, CA, John Meister and wife, Margaret of Albuquerque, James Meister and wife, Christina of Germantown, MD; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lynn Wormeli, Laurel and Jake Meister, and Nadia and Helena Meister. Anna Mae taught in a one room country schoolhouse for three years. Married on July 23, 1936, Anna Mae and Dick moved to Santa Fe, where Dick taught at the Allison-James Presbyterian Mission School. Their life continued to Drexel, MO and Urbana, IL from 1940 until 1947, when the family moved back to Albuquerque, NM. Anna Mae has lived her last 13 years at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village, where she had many good friends and loving care. Church and family were the guiding forces in Anna Mae's life. She was a loving, supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church for 60 years. There she served as a Deacon for several years and was Chairperson of the Deacon Board. She also was a member of Mariners and the Women's Association. Anna Mae participated in Eastern Star for many years, and was a member of the Masonic Widows after Dick's death. She delivered Meals on Wheels in Northeast Albuquerque for over 20 years. Anna Mae loved to play Bridge and Bingo. She crocheted afghans for her daughters, and was always interested in the lives of her family members. The family wishes to thank the staff at Manzano Del Sol and Evercare for the loving care of our mother, especially these past two years.
