COFFEY -- Jane Ruth Heard Coffey (Mama Doc), of Albuquerque, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, died on January 9, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. She is survived by her four children, Cheryl Fuller of Ft. Worth, TX, Lisa Marshall and her husband, Bill, of Albuquerque, Laura Banks and her husband, Kevin, of Albuquerque, and Scott Coffey and his wife, Julie, of Jackson, MS; grandchildren, Colin, Lauren, Kate, and Maggie Fuller, Crystal and Ashley Marshall, Nathan Banks, and Liam Coffey. In addition, Jane is survived by her brother, Jack of Midland, TX. Jane was born in Houston, TX on June 24, 1932. She attended McGregor, TX public schools, graduating at age 16 and was accepted to Baylor University, where she attended with Frank. They moved to Albuquerque in 1960, where she devoted her time to raising her family and volunteering for many children's organizations. She was active in Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and was a 3rd grade Sunday school teacher for over 16 years. She and her family were among the founding members of Asbury United Methodist Church, and she remained a supportive member of the church throughout her life. In her later years, she was her grandchildren's most devoted fan, attending as many of their activities as possible. She will be remembered for her devotion to children, her kindness, and her love and dedication to her family. A Memorial Service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10,000 Candelaria Rd. NE., at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2007. Interment will take place at the family cemetery in Waco, TX. CONNORS -- Kevin Connors, age 54, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on November 9, 1952 to Gerard and Joyce Connors in San Luis Obispo, CA. Kevin was an accomplished General Contractor since 1978 in the Albuquerque area and built custom homes throughout Albuquerque. He graduated from Sandia High School in 1971 and later graduated from UNM. Kevin was loved and cherished by so many people and he touched many lives. Kevin kept long lasting relationships with those he grew up with. He enjoyed boats, motorcycles and dirt bikes; he also enjoyed the outdoors and traveling, but most of all he enjoyed people. Kevin is survived by his wife, Debra Connors; his mother, Joyce Connors; his sister, Anne Connors; and a special niece, Ashley Stroup and her husband, Mark. Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Gerard Connors. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. FRAZEE -- Mark Frazee, age 58, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007. He is survived by his three children, Misty Ann Frazee, Autumn Jenine Frazee, and Brian Anthony Frazee, all of who reside in Albuquerque. In spite of his compromised health conditions beginning at age 19, Mark enjoyed a successful career as a computer systems consultant for Avnet Computer. He also assisted in establishing a Medical R & D Company to pioneer new research to sustain emergency heart, brain and lung function. Mark had a passion for new and exciting enterprises for he and his associates. His most recent was to bring NASCAR excitement to Albuquerque. Mark was born to Joseph and Norma Frazee on April 27, 1948 in Panama while his father was serving active duty in the United States Military. He was the 2nd of four children. Mark is survived by his sister, Karen of Phoenix, AZ; his brother, Chris of Durango, CO; and his sister, Jodi Brown of Albuquerque. He will be greatly missed for his kindness, generosity and his ability to add an interesting perspective to any event or situation. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007, 1:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. HARTRANFT -- Wilbur John Hartranft, 86, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 after a short illness. Wilbur was born October 29, 1920 the oldest of four children to John and Lulu Groat Hartranft in Battle Creek, MI. He graduated from Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, and entered the service as a naval reserve while still in high school; he was called to active duty in March 1941. During WWII he served in Aleutians; operated landing craft during the invasion of Guadalcanal; served aboard the US Zeilin, at the end of the war, he was stationed at a PT-boat base in the Philippines. On June 21, 1944 he married his lovely bride Iva-Beth Cain in Alameda, CA. Wilbur spent most of his post war years at Grosse Ile Naval Air Station (1952-1962); he was BM 1st Class, operating a "crash" boat for air sea rescue. After retirement from the Navy, he operated a survey boat for U.S. Public Health Services (now EPA) at Grosse Ile in the initial stages of environmental pollution work in the Great Lakes. He took a medical retirement in 1969 and in 1970 moved to Rio Rancho, NM. He and Iva adopted two sons, Michael and John. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus for 60 years, serving as district deputy and holding many other offices with the organization. He was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. Wilbur enjoyed traveling, particularly cruises. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Roland and Milt; and sister, Angela; and his son, John in 1973. Wilbur is survived by his wife, Iva; son, Michael; three grandchildren, Tanner, Megan, and Kyle; and great-grandson, Jayden. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services at Vista Verde, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. HERRMANN -- Betty L. Herrmann died of sudden heart failure January 8, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Inga and husband, John Molt; her son, Peter Herrmann; and four grandchildren, Rishar Herrmann, Mariah and Joshua Molt and Jonathan Herrmann. Betty went home to be with her Savior and Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy, NE, Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church (821-1993) c/o Drypolcher Missions.

JOHNSON -- Martha Rosa Lee Johnson, also known as Marty, mom, and Gee-Gee; daughter of Solomon Archuleta and Jennie Bell passed away peacefully in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 after prolonged illness. Martha was born in Questa, NM. on March 21, 1940. Martha gave 25 years of service to Honeywell Electronics where she worked as a computer programmer. Martha is survived by her two children, Lillie Morgan and husband, Eddie Morgan; Jomantha Johnson and partner Jimmy Smith; and long life partner (stepfather) Robert Mosley; six grandchildren, Charles Donovan Cox, De'Angelo Morgan, De'Vonte Meadows, Cadavain Traylor, La' Garia Meadows and Marcel Morgan all of Albuquerque, NM; siblings, Stella Gonzales, Thelma Lattimar, Julian Archuleta and George Archuleta; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Joylight Church, 409 Santa Fe, SE, Albuquerque, NM.

KOTARA -- Nick Kotara, Jr., born October 12, 1923, peacefully went home to be with the Lord and "Mama" on January 6, 2007 while surrounded by his family. He was born in Falls City, TX to a family that eventually consisted of 9 boys. He joined the Army Air Corp at the age of 17, after having a "slight brush with the law" in the area of his home. He was in the military when he met the love of his life, Glenna Boyer of Blackwell, OK. They married and moved to different Air Force bases in the western part of the United States. He served during WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. In the 1960s, he and "Mama" took in their two nieces and one nephew and eventually adopted Sandra and Richard. Nick retired from the USAF in 1966 after 21 years. He worked then for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, working at the old Albuquerque Indian School and also worked for Landscaping at the University of New Mexico. Nick's beloved wife preceded him in death on May 11, 1996. Nick has spent the last year at Alcantilado Vista Retirement Home in Rio Rancho. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Kimura, of Rio Rancho, her friend Carl Espinoza, Eugene Kimura of Rio Rancho and son Richard Kotara of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his niece, Shirley Windsor, of Pensacola, Florida; grandsons Mike Kimura, his wife, Lynette, Brian Kimura, his wife, Renae, Daniel Kimura, his girlfriend, Marissa Sanchez, Cody Kotara and his wife Cynthia, and Tonja Kotara; and great-granddaughters, Kory Kotara, Kalei Kimura and Dakota Kotara, Victoria and Joanie Schultz. He also has one brother, Chris Kotara, who still resides in Poth, TX and various nieces and nephews. The family would especially like to thank the staff and doctors of the Presbyterian Adult Intensive Care Unit for their special care of Nick in his last hours. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas Acquinas Catholic Church, 1594 Sara Rd. in Rio Rancho. A Funeral Mass will be given on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. also at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Ashes will be interred at a later date in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Reception to follow at Sandra's home.

LILL -- Daniel Coit Lill, born in Chicago, IL on February 22, 1942, passed away early Thursday morning on January 4, 2007. Daniel was the third of five sons born to Eleanor Coit Lill and George Lill II. As a young man, Daniel participated in the family business, Lill Coal & Oil, and spent his summers on the family's working farm on Green Lake, WI. A graduate of Winnetka's New Trier High School, class of 1960, Daniel came to Albuquerque to attend UNM. After leaving school to work for Richard Nixon's presidential campaign, he returned to the University, joining the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and earning a bachelor's degree in business administration before becoming a graduate of UNM's law school in 1969. Daniel served a one-year term as a law clerk under Judge Oman at the NM State Court of Appeals before opening up his own practice in Albuquerque, where he specialized in trial law and insurance fraud. He loved the law and worked at his profession until his death. In addition to being a member of the NM State Bar Association and the NM Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Lill was a long-standing member of the Albuquerque Country Club. Daniel is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Phillips Lill, a fellow UNM student whom he met when they were both participating in a wedding party at the Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Valentine's Day in 1963. They were married in July of 1966. Together they had three children, daughter, Lorissa and husband, Dr. Bernhard Schilling of Syracuse, NY; and sons, Charles Coit Lill and wife, Keena, Robert Duff Lill; and grandson, Cole Coit Lill, all of Albuquerque. He is also survived by three brothers, John Lill of WI, Steven Lill of Costa Rica, and William Lill of FL; and long-time friend, John McDonough of Kenilworth, IL. He was preceded in death by his eldest brother, George Lill III, formerly of Bolivia. Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2007, 2:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Rev. David Okerberg of First United Methodist Church officiating. A reception will follow. LOVATO -- Juanita A. Lovato, born in Cuba, NM on April 21, 1919, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, January 9, 2007. She will be remembered by all whose lives she touched for her love, faith, strength, and her beautiful smile. Mrs. Lovato was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Piedad Archibeque; husband, Eliseo Lovato; and her son, Eliseo, Jr. She is survived by her children, Dorothy Trujillo and partner, Tito Pacheco, Joe Orlando Lobato and wife, Elizabeth, Angie Montano and husband, Lawrence, Irene Varela, Larry Lovato and wife, Juanita and David Lovato; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lovato was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW. Interment will follow at Mt.
