MACK -- Christopher W. Mack, born March 24, 1983 in Austin, TX, was tragically killed Friday, December 15, 2006. Christopher was a very mild mannered, loving, kind-hearted and compassionate individual who was suffering from a torturous mental illness following the death of his beloved brother, Patrick, four and a half years ago. We are thankful that the media was able to speak with his family in order to convey the truth regarding his fragility, grief, and some of the struggles he had been dealing with since the loss of his brother. In middle and high school years, he was a decorated athlete, he participated twice in the Southwest Junior Olympics in both track and field. He graduated from Manzano High School in 2001.
