BRAMAN -- Geni Lynn Braman, 50, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on November 29, 2006. Geni was born on July 19, 1956 to Homer and Virginia (Austin) Prince of Albuquerque. Geni was an amazing person; if there was an "Annual Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend of the Year Award," she would have won it for the past thirty years. Since her "retirement," the care, teaching and love for her grandkids was paramount. She was a fine artist and was really becoming a world renowned Altered Art Creator. She loved quilting, sewing, stamping, cloth dyeing, and exploring new avenues with every project she did. If you own a piece of her art, you have something to treasure forever! Every life that she touched is deeply saddened by her passing. She enriched so many lives in the short period she walked upon this earth. She'd want you to remember her for who she was and what she did for her family and friends. Geni feared nothing; she was ready to move on to another world and life. Geni is best remembered as the family matriarch who passionately loved and cared for her husband, children, grandchildren and her pets. Geni is survived by her husband of nearly thirty-one years, Andy Braman of the family home; her children: Orlan E. Braman and wife, Meera, Amanda R. Braman, and Ina L. Braman and fiance, Dustin Cook, all of Albuquerque; Grandchildren: Shane Rex and Chloe Lynn Braman; mother, Virginia A. Baggerman of Amarillo, TX; brother, Samuel Prince of Albuquerque; sister, Marla Darnell of Amarillo, TX; sister-in-law, Harlene Braman of Bushland, TX; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald E. Braman, Jr. and wife, Janice; and her dear friends, including, Chris and Ken Dickinson and Debbie Stady. Geni was preceded in death by her father, Homer Prince and her mother-in-law, Katherine Braman. The Memorial Service, officiated by Ben Hanley, Sr., will be held in the Elena Gallegos Picnic Area Amphitheater (Tramway Road north, after Academy Road traffic light, turn right onto Simms Park Road and travel east, look for the Pink Flamingos) at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2006. A Celebration of Geni's Life will be held after the Service at the home of Fenton and Barb Ayres, 1017 Arizona Street SE. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Geni's name to New Mexico Animal Friends, PO Box 40189 Albuquerque, NM 87196. MARTINEZ -- Manuel (Mel) Martinez January 1, 1925 - December 2, 2005 If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you no one can ever know. But now we know you want us to mourn for you no more, to remember all the happy times; life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten, we pledge to you today a hallowed place within our hearts is where you'll always stay. We love and miss you. Your loving family.

MAZOR -- Merton Herbert Mazor October 31, 1923 - November 29, 2006 Loving father and husband, who will be dearly missed by his surviving two sons, family and friends. Merton was a truly loving father and husband who would do anything for his family. Examples of his love were summer family vacations, being a Jewish Santa Claus for his sons during cub scouts, and always being available and part of his wife and sons life. My wife Lupe and I had the pleasure of spending the last six months taking care of him and spending his last birthday and Thanksgiving with him. We will always remember him enjoying the chocolate cake we brought him for his birthday. Dad was a chocolate-holic who loved chocolate he could always be bribed to do things he did not enjoy by offering him chocolate.
