BORAH -- Martha Lillian Borah, age 82, died Thursday, April 20, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM. She is survived by her children, Gregory Louis Borah and wife, Margaret Plantes of Belle Mead, NJ, Janet Marie Casillas and husband, Donald of Plano, TX, Loretta Ann Guidarelli and husband, Greg of Albuquerque, NM, and Barbara Jean Loeppke and husband, Michael of Albuquerque, NM; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Claire and Abigail Rose Borah, Doreen Michelle Russell, Heather Ann and Christopher Richard Casillas, Nicole Lillian and Eric Patrick Joe Guidarelli, Glen Edward Loeppke III, and Austin Michael and Kathryn Roxan Loeppke; sisters, Ethel Hedger of Erlanger, KY and Dorothy Clark of Ocoee, FL; brothers, Carl Knous and wife, Carole of Petersburg, IL, Albert Knous and companion, June Sherry of Petersburg, IL, and Glenn Knous and wife, Beverly of Petersburg, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews to whom she was known as Aunt Marty. Martha was preceded in death by her brother, Francis Knous of Petersburg, IL. She was born in Alexander, IL and at an early age the family moved to Petersburg, IL. Martha ventured to Chicago, IL and Albuquerque, NM in the 1940s. Ms. Borah worked at Los Alamos National Labs during WWII. It was while working there that she married Robert Borah in the late 1940s and soon there after they moved to Albuquerque. Martha worked in Civil Service for the United States Air Force and later retired from there. After retirement she was very active in the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. The last 3 1/2 years she resided at Sunrise Assisted Living where she received much caring and love. Ms. Borah was extremely involved with Boy and Girl Scouting and served as a Leader for seven years. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by each of them. Martha was very active with playing pinnacle and also enjoyed going to the casinos. She was a member of John XXIII Catholic Community. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, April 23, 2006, 7:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 24, 2006, 11:00 a.m., at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Drive NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. CRISWELL -- Josephine Criswell, known to her friends as Jo, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at her home in Albuquerque. She was born in Dalhart, Texas July 15, 1915 and was raised in Camden, Arkansas by her grandparents. She attended Texas Christian University and moved to Albuquerque in 1948 after she married William M. Criswell. She loved her family, friends and all animals and was a member of the Church Universal and Triumphant. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years in 1997. She is survived by her son Bill Criswell, his wife Sheron; her son John Criswell, his wife Gayle; grandson Micah Criswell; and friends Lita, Sara, Dottie and others who shared her joy in her last years. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m., Saturday April 29, 2006 at French's Mortuary on Lomas Blvd. NE. ESQUIBEL -- Herk E. Esquibel, age 84, of Rio Rancho, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2006, in Albuquerque, NM. Pallbearers: John Esquibel, Mike Esquibel, David Esquibel, Robert Esquibel, Raymond Lobato, Jr., and Alfred Vigil. Honorary: Feliberto Chavez, Marcos Chavez, and Ernest Vigil. MOYA -- Darlene Moya went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2006 at the age of 48. She was born on December 28, 1957 in Albuquerque, NM. Darlene is survived by her sons, Paul Ornelas Jr. and Jeanette Chavarria and David Ornelas; daughters, Pauline Ornelas and Cortez Gray, Dolores Ornelas and Patricia Ornelas and Frank Flores; sisters, Ruth Lopez and husband Junior, Patsy Sanchez, Theresa Dominguez and husband David, Veronica Moya and Mary Lou Moya and her seven grandchildren. Darlene will be deeply missed by all. Visitations will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. NOTTINGHAM -- Berniece Shaffer Nottingham passed on to her eternal reward on Friday, April 14, 2006, at her apartment in Camino Retirement Center, where she lived for four years. She is survived by her Albuquerque family: daughter, Nancy Smith and devoted son-in-law, Mel Smith; grandchildren, Tina (Mark) Diltz, Jason Smith and Neal (Heather) Smith; and her beloved 'Greats' Aidian Benjamin, Joshua, Korrie, Lauren, Melanie, Nathaniel, and Rebekah; daughter, Linnea Nottingham of Augusta, ME; sister, Esther Lee of Ridgeville, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Bea was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was born on January 8, 1913, in Greene County, IN, to Francis W. and Hazel A. (Lester) Shaffer, the middle of three sisters. Bea graduated from Eaton High School, Eaton, IN, in 1932, and married Vint R. Nottingham, on April 24, 1936, in Hartford City, IN, where they were very active members of the First Christian Church. She resided there until 1978 when she relocated to Albuquerque, NM after her mother passed away. Bea was a very talented seamstress, dressmaker and tailor, and worked in clothing shops until she was 79 years old. She continued doing alterations until just a few months ago. Bea was preceded in death by her husband on April 17, 1967; her parents and her older sister and best friend, Hulda Tapy, in 2005. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she was a member for 28 years, with Dr. Roy Elmore and Dr. Terry Anderson, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 9500 Constitution NE, 87112. OVERSON -- Ronald Ray Overson, 63, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 20, 2006. He was born on February 18, 1943 in National City, California. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sharon Lee Overson; his mother, Ila Overson of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Stacey Renay Pacheco and Tricia Ann Delicino and husband, Anthony, all of Albuquerque; two grandsons, Ronald Ray and Tristian; sister, Carolyn Yoss and husband, Charles of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Michael Overson and wife, Pamela of Overton, NV, Dwane Overson and Frank Overson and wife, Donna, all of Moriarty, NM; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Overson. Ron served four years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Lexington. His greatest honor was serving his family and his country. Ron was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He built two Harley's, one of which is the first custom 1948 Panhead ever built. He was a proud resident of the South Valley and was loved by his community for he knew no strangers. His distinct smile and laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him. REYNOLDS -- Boss Reynolds, age 93, died Friday, April 21, 2006 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his son Charles "Chuck" Reynolds and wife, Jann, and daughter, Mitzi Andermann and husband Robert of Albuquerque, NM; seven grand-daughters and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Millie Reynolds, in 2004 and a son David Reynolds in 1961. Mr. Reynolds was a member of the Carpenters Local #1319 for over thirty years. He was employed as a Superintendent for various construction companies around New Mexico. He worked on many construction projects which included Los Alamos during WWII, flood control channels in Albuquerque, and the Cement Plant in Tijeras Canyon. Mr. Reynolds was an avid sportsman, and hunted and fished all his life. He bagged his last deer when he was 85 years old. Everyone was his friend and he will be missed dearly by all. Services will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at 2:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. STARK -- Bonnie B. Stark passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at home with her loving family at her bedside in Moriarty. Bonnie was born in Cheyenne, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin R; and one son, Marvin Jr.; also her parents, Joseph (Joe) and Willie Mae Pulliam; two brothers; and one sister. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Mang and husband, Jack of New York, and Carolyn Uptain and husband, Dave of Moriarty; four granddaughters, Lynnette Dobler and Dianne Dusen and husband, Chuck of New York, Rhnea Perea and husband, Richard of Los Lunas, and Spc. Lisa Uptain of Moriarty; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Harold Pulliam and wife, Ethel of Bosque Farms, and Leroy (PeeWee) Pulliam and wife, Marilyn of Albuquerque; one step-sister, Mary Barrett of Taos; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She is a retiree of Lovelace Medical Center of 18 years, and a member of the Estancia Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by all. WALPOLE -- Robert James Walpole, DDS, 76, long-time resident of Albuquerque, peacefully joined the Lord on Thursday, April 20, 2006 in his home. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Walpole; son, Jeffrey Walpole and wife, Rebecca; grandchildren, Andrew and Ethan Walpole; sister, Jean Cowden. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mildred Walpole and a son, Scott Walpole. Dr. Walpole was born on December 28, 1929 in Villisca, Iowa and spent his adolescent years in Santa Rosa, NM. He attended the University of NM from 1948-1952 and Baylor University School of Dentistry from 1952-1956. Dr. Walpole served in the US Army from 1957-1959. He practiced pediatric dentistry in Albuquerque for over 35 years. He served as an instructor in Pathology and Histology at the University of NM Dental Hygiene School. Dr. Walpole volunteered at Eugene Field Elementary School and BCMC performing dental services for under privileged children. He was a charter member of Four Hills Country Club, a long-time member of the Lobo Booster Club, an avid golfer, sports fan, and Saturday Morning Coffee Club attendee. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. WITH -- Mary Helen With, 78, a resident of Albuquerque died Friday, April 21, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Jack With; children, Charles Arlon Canfield and wife Pat, Susan E. Ritchey, Diana Amaro and husband Frank, Robert Canfield and wife Pat, Michael Canfield and wife Becky; Jack's children, Jerry With and wife Patty, Greg With and wife Stephanie, Cheryl Heinen and husband J.C., Doug With, Ted With and wife Margaret; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Lee Shockey; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ava Williams. Mary retired after a long and successful banking career. She had a deep spiritual faith in which she used to nurture and care for her family. Her unabiding positive spirit continues to live in those lives that she touched. The family wishes to thank Amber Care Hospice and those who cared for Mary in her final years.
