ARELLIN -- Robert Arellin passed away Thursday, February 9, 2006 at Las Palomas. Born March 3, 1961 in Belen, NM, he was a resident of Albuquerque for the past 20 years. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Joe & Ester Arellin. Robert was a gentle soul and always put others before himself. He is survived by many family and friends who will miss him dearly. CHAVEZ -- Bernardo "Barney" Chavez Sr., 76, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM. He was born November 2, 1929 to Eduardo and Carlota (Trujeque) Chavez Sr. in San Marcial, NM. Barney was a resident of Socorro, NM and retired from the Socorro Electric Coop after 43 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diosinita "Josie" Jojola Chavez in 1998. He is survived by his sons: Elvires Chavez; Bernardo "Bernie" Chavez Jr. and fiance, Theresa Aragon; Raymond Chavez and wife, Isabel; Victor Chavez, all of Socorro; and Eduardo Chavez and wife, Carolyn of San Antonio, NM; Daughters: Mary C. Pargas and husband, Ernest; Bernice R. Vallejos and fiance, Elliott Iker; and Denise D. Herrera and husband, Flavio, all of Socorro; brothers: Mike Chavez and wife, Agatha; and Eduardo Chavez Jr. and wife, Gloria of Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Teodorita Pino and husband, Elfego of Socorro; and Erlinda Dyce and husband, Charles of Alamogordo, NM; a very special sister-in-law, Vivian Bourguignon of Corrales, NM; 23 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2006 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Burial will be in the San Antonio, NM cemetery. Pallbearers are Ernest Pargas Jr., Phillip Chavez, Ryan Chavez, Raymond Chavez Jr., Frankie Montoya and Brandon Vallejos. Honorary Pallbearers are the rest of his grandchildren. DARROW -- Ann W. Darrow born October 18, 1923 in Waco, Texas, and a resident of Albuquerque for sixty years died on Friday, February 10, 2006. Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Epperson of Waco. She is survived by her husband, Barton; their three children, Sally Cayzer of Denver, Suzann Farren of Dallas and Allen Darrow of Albuquerque. Other survivors include her brother, James Warner and wife, Billie of Waco; daughter-in-law, Lynette Darrow; son-in-law, Jay Cayzer; and grandchildren, Mollie Cayzer, Drew Darrow, Megan Ramirez and husband Albert and Elizabeth Farren. A graduate of Baylor University, Ann was active in the community, serving on the boards of Christina Kent Nursery, Friends of the Little Theater, Friends of Art, Junior League of Albuquerque, YMCA, YWCA and the Opera Guild. She was also a member of The Colonial Dames of America, New Mexico Chapter. As a member of First Presbyterian Church, she served as a Deacon. She particularly enjoyed playing golf with her nine-hole group at Albuquerque Country Club and of course playing cards with her dear friends in Bridge Club and Le Cadeaux. Her hobby was needle pointing and entertaining family and friends. She excelled at being a mother and her commitment to her family was second to none. Her family would like to thank the staff at The Montebello, First Presbyterian Church Deacons and Ministers, and her many friends for their loving care and thoughtfulness. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2006, 2:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Rev. Paul Debenport officiating. ESPINDA -- Samuel D.K. Espinda Jr., age 45, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2006. He was born in Honolulu, HI on April 13, 1960. He moved to Albuquerque and graduated from Sandia High School in 1978. He is survived by his mother, Ingrid Espinda and father, Samuel Espinda Sr.; his children, Geri, Mitchell, and Ryan Espinda; brothers, Walter, John, and Derick Espinda; granddaughters, Kristina and Thereza. HARRISON -- John R. Harrison, 66, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, February 10, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mercedes Harrison; children, Debra Harrison and husband Jeffrey Forbes of Idaho Falls, ID and Brian Harrison of Enon, OH; two grandchildren, Gage Harrison and Samuel Forbes; brother, Thomas Harrison and wife, Helen of Hermitage, PA; sister-in-law, Rosella Harrison of Hermitage, PA; and numerous other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Harrison. He was a devoted husband, beloved father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. HOSEK -- Guadalupe O. Hosek was born on June 10, 1958, to Sirenio Olivas and Frances Sanchez in Espanola, NM. She passed away on February 7, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Hosek; four daughters, Gloria Trujillo, Nicole Hosek, Laura Hosek, and Jacqueline Hosek; one son, Steven James Patrick Trujillo; two grandsons, Jacob and Matthew Trujillo. She is also survived by her mother; two sisters; six brothers; and many other family members and friends. She graduated from Espanola High School in 1976 and attended New Mexico Highlands University. A Mass celebrating Guadalupe's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at Santuario de San Martin, 8321 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM.

JARAMILLO -- Rudy C. Jaramillo, 46, went home to be with Our Lord on February 11, 2006. Rudy is survived by his two daughters, Victoria Tafoya and Brandi Jaramillo Abousleman; one grandson, Elias Tafoya; his parents, Alex Jaramillo Sr. and wife, Nancy; two brothers, Alex Jaramillo Jr. and wife, Debbie, Gilbert Jaramillo Sr. and wife, Maria; his grandmother, Tomasita Jaramillo; his fiance, Sussie Encinias; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Cindy, Mandy, Erica, Antoinette and Gilbert Jr.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rudy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vicente M. Apodaca. Rudy was a Christian and member of the Catholic Church. Visitation for Rudy will be Monday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Tuesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father John. POSANSKI -- Robert J. Posanski, born October 6, 1919, died Friday, February 10, 2006, at a local nursing home. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years on February 15th, Caroline Posanski of the family home; daughter, Kathleen R. Dilorenzo and husband Charles of Albuquerque, NM; son, Robert J. Posanski, Jr. and wife Rebecca, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Annette Dilorenzo-Thayer and husband Murray, David Dilorenzo and wife Kimberly, and Kimberly Posanski all of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren, Madison and Thomas Dilorenzo both of Albuquerque, NM; also surviving is a brother Joseph Posanski and wife Eleanore, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Robert was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. After serving in the United States Army Aircore in Albuquerque as a medical nurse, he returned to Milwaukee and started his first bakery business, Carol's Bakery. He later became Commander of the Disabled American Veterans for two consecutive years. He was also active in the Amateur Radio Club in Wisconsin. Robert and Carol were avid bowlers in both Wisconsin and Sun City, AZ. They retired from Carol's Bakery in Albuquerque after 24 years, providing fantastic doughnuts and bread. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 14, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel. WAGNER -- Neal Barnett Chief Warrant Officer Neal Barnett Wagner, Sr., (USA)Ret., 76, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, February 11, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy L. Wagner; daughter, Cindy Soo Hoo and husband Mark of Albuquerque and daughter, Evelyn Ewald of Tomah, WI; grandchildren, Shala, Shallan, Connie and Danielle Rhea; and sister, Margaret Bolton of WV. Neal Sr. was preceded in death by his son, Neal Barnett Wagner, Jr., one week ago on Saturday, February 4, 2006; his brothers, Jewell and Don Wagner; and sister, Betty Day. He was born on March 7, 1929 in West Virginia to Isaac and Ethel Wagner. Neal served 25 years in the United States Army, retiring in 1974. After retiring, he taught at TVI for 13 years. He also enjoyed repairing watches. Neal was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
