ARCHULETA -- Ruby V. Archuleta passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at age 57. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Johnny J. Archuleta Jr. Ruby will be missed by anyone and everyone who knew her. She loved to cook and bake for any reason, but what she loved most was family. It was always a family gathering when you went to her house. She was the center of family and keeping them together. Ruby is survived by her husband, Leroy J. (Jumbo) Archuleta; a daughter, Monica; two sons, Frank and John; a brother, Jerry Harbold; three sisters, Catherine Sundsmo, LaVerne Gonzales, and Terry LaCour. She has six grandchildren, Crystal Leyba, Jimmy and Christopher Romero, Autumn Archuleta, Angel and Mariano; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and lots of cousins. Rosary will be recited Monday, October 24, 2005, at 7:00 p.m., at Santuario De San Martin, 8321 Camino San Martin SW. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at Santuario De San Martin. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. CROW -- Faye Crow passed away on October 16, 2005, at the age of 86. She was born in Greenbrier, AR on February 25, 1919 and spent most of her life in Albuquerque, NM. In 2003 she moved to Surprise, AZ, so she would be closer to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim L. Crow, and is survived by her two daughters, Toni (husband, Frank) Masterson and Tomi (husband, Jim) Medlock; four sisters, Ethel Burkett, Rosa Lee De Wald, Lee Robinson, and Mary Richardson; her five grandchildren (Tami, Colleen, Dawn, Kara, Jason); and her five great-grandchildren (Autumn, Sydney, Kennedy, Jack and Emma). While she didn't possess the titles and accomplishments that the world would see as significant, she did possess the titles that meant everything to those who knew her: Maboy, Mom, Aunt Faye, and friend. The friendships she made and the hospitality she showed will be remembered through the many lives she touched. She never needed much and gave as much as she could. She was a simple yet complex woman and will be missed by all those who came to know and love her. Viewing will be from 4 - 7 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2005 and the Funeral held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2005, at Strong Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE in Albuquerque.

FRANKLIN -- Andalucia "Luci" Franklin, age 48, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2005. Luci was a resident of Albuquerque since 1971. She loved to bake - especially birthday cakes that she decorated for her numerous nieces and nephews. Luci is survived by her parents, Willard E. and Gracia Franklin; her sister, Isabel Franklin; brother, Ben Franklin, all of Albuquerque. GONZALES -- Doris Gonzales, 76, an Albuquerque resident since 1962, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 20, 2005. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dennis Gonzales of Albuquerque; daughter, Janis Tyler and husband, Carl of Tucson, AZ; son, Jimmy Jack Freeman and wife, Patsy of Los Lunas, NM; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was greeted in heaven by her daughter, Becky. Doris was born in Skellytown, TX in 1929. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2005 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1500 Chelwood Park NE, with The Rev. Robert J. Nagiel, officiating. HARDEKOPF -- Celia M. Hardekopf, 57, a resident of Albuquerque passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005 following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jim; children Christopher of Albuquerque, Ben of Austin, TX and Laura and husband Paul Rucker and son Clark of Belen; mother, Sarah Mullane and sisters, Carolyn Price and Kathy Romine; and brother Jim Mullane all of Florida. Celia was a wonderful and devoted wife and mother, enthusiastic and cheerful. She loved people and teaching. Celia was a Navy spouse and taught in various places prior to moving to Albuquerque in 1992. She earned her doctorate in education from the University of NM in 1997. She was a loving and giving person and will greatly missed. In her last years she faced her chronic debilitating illness with bravery and determination. HARMON -- Muriel "Mimi" Bolles Harmon, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother ascended to her Lord and Savior Sunday, September 11, 2005. She was born in the Missouri Ozarks on May 3, 1922, came to Albuquerque in 1937, and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1941. Mimi was a member of the Albuquerque Little Theater as well as a model. She then joined the Navy WAVES in May 1943 where she served until May 1946. Mimi remained active with the WAVES as a member and social chair of the local Roadrunner Unit of Albuquerque. She also was a member of the American Legion, Post 13. Mimi retired from the state of New Mexico - Child Support Enforcement Division, where she worked for over 15 years. She was able to get a city park named after her father, Laurens C. Bolles in the Northeast Heights. She is survived by her son, Roger Scussel; twin daughters, Lucienne Brewer and Suzanne Dionne, all of New Braunfels, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Alan Bolles of Apache Junction, AZ; and one niece and three nephews. Memorial Services will be held at Veterans Memorial Park on Louisiana Blvd. in Albuquerque on Monday, October 24, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions in loving memory of Muriel Harmon to the Salvation Army to help the hurricane survivors.

JEZIK -- Michael James Jezik, 86, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 33 years, and coming to New Mexico from New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2005. Michael was born October 15, 1919 the son of Michael L. and Catherine M. Siska Jezik, in Bowmanstown, PA. He was a charter member of BPOE # 2500 of Rio Rancho. Michael retired from Quality Pontiac. He was a race car enthusiast, drove race cars, and had been involved with the Indy 500 for 28 years. Michael was also a member of the NM Gun Collectors Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Catherine; and one sister, Mary Jezik. Michael is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alice, of Rio Rancho; two brothers-in-law, John Spring and wife, Bella of Nevada, and Robert Spring and wife, Betty of New York; and will be greatly missed by numerous nephews and nieces and grand-nephews and grand-nieces. The Visitation for Michael will be held on Monday, October 24, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with the Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. KOSTELECKY -- Pamela Margaret Kostelecky, 69, longtime resident of Albuquerque, died peacefully, Thursday, October 20, 2005 at the family residence. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years and eleven months, Ray August Kostelecky and son, Danny Thomas. She is survived by sisters, June Gray, Ann Kavanaugh, Maureen Hazell; brother, Robert Murphy; daughter, Wendy Pratley; sons, Steven and wife, Diana, and Derek and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Duane, David, Sarah and Travis, Katie and Mike Catanach, Drew, Matthew, Lucy, and Emma; two cats, Sammy and Sophie. Pamela was born Tuesday, August 25, 1936 in Oxford, England to Thomas and Phyllis (Simmons) Murphy. She completed Secondary Education at age 16 and married Ray Kostelecky, who was serving in the Air Force, at age 19. They moved to Omaha in 1956, moved to Whiteman AFB in 1966, to Ramstein, Germany in 1970 and Kirtland AFB in 1974. She worked a variety of jobs, including secretary for Ideas in Science and Electronics and clipper/filer at the New Mexico Press. She enjoyed gardening, was an award-winning bowler and enjoyed the music of Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdink. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel on Monday, October 24, 2005, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and Cryptside Services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. LUCERO -- Celia O. Lucero, 88, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2005. She is survived by two daughters, Bella Vigil and husband, Leonard and Mary Lucero, both of Albuquerque; five sons, Roberto Lucero of Albuquerque, Lee Lucero and wife, Nora of Colorado, Martin Lucero and wife, Antonette of Albuquerque, Henry Lucero of Kentucky, and Philip Lucero of Arizona; two sisters, Mary Duran and Rose Torrez, both of Albuquerque; one brother, Luis Ortiz of Colorado; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Lee J. Lucero in 1995. Celia belonged to the Legion of Mary. Pallbearers are Delbert Vigil, Leonard Vigil, Jonathan Lucero, Eldon Lucero, Arthur Lucero and Gabriel Lucero. Honorary Pallbearers are Joaquin Lucero and Michael Lucero. MARTINEZ -- Octavio Martinez, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 16, 2005. He was born Tuesday, September 25, 1928 in Houston, TX to Octavio and Cruz Morales Martinez. He is survived by his mother, Cruz; his children, Teresa, Michael, David Lee, Jacqueline, Jerrilene; and his grandchildren, Justin, David Michael, and Matthew. Octavio was preceded by his father, Octavio; his brother, Rudy; and his sister, Alma. He graduated from UCLA in 1956 with a BS in Engineering. Through the course of his career he was a successful engineer and executive becoming a CEO of several high tech manufacturing corporations. He was a loving father of five children. Octavio enjoyed cooking and politics. He lived life fully, with a sense of pragmatism, humor, and kindness. Octavio retired to Albuquerque in 1999. Rosary will be recited Thursday, October 20, 2005, 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 21, 2005, 10 a.m., at Forest Park-Lawndale Funeral Home, Houston, TX. MONTOYA -- Macario (Max) Montoya, age 92, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was called home by the Lord, Thursday, October 20, 2005, while surrounded by his loving family. Max was born in Chilili, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque and a member of the SNMDMP #2 Alameda. He is survived by his wife, Sinforosa; his children, Mike (Montoya) Martinez, of Martinez CA, Joe Prospero Montoya, of Albuquerque, NM, Gilbert Montoya of Albuquerque, NM , Henry Montoya, Mary Lou Garcia of Rio Rancho, NM, Pauline Garcia of Alameda, and Rita Eberting of Albuquerque; 26 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Alameda. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church. ULIBARRI -- HORACIO. Dr. Horacio Ulibarri passed October 20, 2005. Dr. Ulibarri committed his life to education as a professor at NM Highlands University and UNM. Dr. Ulibarri dedicated several years working to improve life in Southern and Central America with USAID. Dr. Ulibarri retired as a well respected mentor, husband, father, grand, and great-grandfather, and most of all a friend. He is survived by those who love and will forever respect him, his wife, Lydia Gonzales y Ulibarri; sons, Ross and wife, Kristen and daughter, Nicola Ulibarri, Richard Ulibarri and DuWayne, wife, JerriAnn Ordonez; daughters, Carla and her children, Gizelle, husband, Mike Ordonez-Vanover; grandchildren, Leoni and Daniel, their children, Joseph, Craig and Brittany; Melissa and Brain Moya, their children, Ashlynn and Rhiannon.
