CRESPIN -- Mark Crespin, "Boo Boo", 46, passed away June 12, 2005. He is survived by Dolores Austin; sons, Luciano Crespin and Lexie, Lucas Crespin and Valerie; grandchildren, Adriana, Delesia, and Isaiah; brothers, Johnny, and Frankie; sisters, Irma, Esther, and Peggy; also loved very much by Jana and Kiki; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St Therese Catholic Church 300 Mildred NW (4th St. and Mildred) with a Rosary bring recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2005. MCNERNEY -- Rosemary Tischhauser McNerney, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, passed away from the infirmities of age on Saturday, June 11, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, John E. McNerney. Born April 4, 1917, in Deming, New Mexico, Rosemary was the daughter of John L. and Pansy I. Woodward Tischhauser. An honor student at St. Mary's High School in Albuquerque, she served as editor of the school newspaper and was awarded a scholarship to the University of New Mexico on graduation. According to her yearbook, she was ambitious and expressed a desire to be President of the United States. Instead she went to business school and became a secretary. She got a job with Phillips Petroleum in Farmington, where she met John who worked for the Soil Conservation Service at Chaco Canyon. They were married in Albuquerque in 1940 and raised five children. She later returned to work at the University of New Mexico as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Engineering. Rosemary and John, devout Catholics, were charter members of Our Lady of Fatima Parish and long-time members of the Third Order of St. Francis. Rosemary enjoyed traveling and her bridge games. She is survived by her five children and their spouses, daughters Patricia and Marvin Tillery, Rosemary and William Winkler, Kathleen McNerney and Michael Ugarte, twin sons John McNerney and Virginia Watkins, and Gerald McNerney and Mary, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and special friends. She is also survived by her two sisters, Anabel Umbrage and Eustelle O'Rourke, twin brothers and their wives, John and Kathleen Tischhauser, and Richard and Patricia Tischhauser, and sisters-in-law Katherine McNerney and Anne Jordan. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, and Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. MILLER -- Ardelle M. Miller, 87, an Albuquerque resident since 1949, died Saturday, June 11, 2005. She is survived by her son, Gary T. Miller and wife, Christiane of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Eddie Miller of California, Jessica Martin and husband, Chad of Georgia and Leanne Miller of Georgia; great-grandchildren, William Miller of California, Trevor Martin of Georgia, Zander Miller of Georgia. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Miller in 1959 and a son, David Miller in 2003. Mrs. Miller was a founding member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She retired from JC Penney in Albuquerque. Ardelle loved life; she enjoyed dancing and just being with people. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel, with Deacon Pat Kneafsey reciting. O'NEAL -- James (Chet) O'Neal, 83, a resident of the Jemez Mountains in New Mexico passed away Monday, June 13, 2005 peacefully in his sleep. He was born February 15, 1922 in Chanute, KS. Mr. O'Neal is survived by his wife of 60 years, Thelma O'Neal of the family home; daughter, Pat Cosima Leedom and husband, Jan Studebaker, all of Jemez; grandsons, Sam Kanner and wife, Kayla and Zach Kanner; brother, Carl C. O'Neal of Bellview, NE; many loved nieces and nephews; and special friends. He retired from Sandia National Laboratories after 26 years, and then maintained his interests in working in his shop and being outdoors. Mr. O'Neal will always be loved. Services will be held Saturday, 2:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Private interment will take place. Memorial services will also be held at a later date. POWDRELL -- Mabel Powdrell, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2005. She was 87 years of age. She was married to Mr. Jewell Powdrell Sr. "Sug" for 59 years. She was also the mother of Jewell Powdrell, Jr., Rio Rancho, NM; State Representative Jane Powdrell-Culbert, Corrales, NM, David Powdrell and Gregory Powdrell, Albuquerque, NM and Ronald Powdrell of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by both parents; and six of her brothers and sisters; and one great -grandson. She has two sisters living, Archie Lee Johnson of Dallas, Tx and Luddie Harris of Nacogdoches, Tx. She was the loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Mabel was very active in the South Broadway community. She was a community activist along with other community members who were instrumental via the City of Albuquerque in the development of the neighborhood's water and sewage treatment facilities, street paving, and Parent and Teacher Association activities at John Marshall Elementary School. She was also an avid supporter of Albuquerque High School's basketball and football teams. Long before the development of the Powdrell Barbecue restaurant business, Mabel was highly recognized for her cooking abilities through catering services for many of Albuquerque business leaders in the 1950's and 1960's. Mabel and her family became members of the Shiloh Baptist Church in early 1948. She was an active member of the missionary society and an avid supporter of the youth's baseball team. Mabel and her husband, Jewell, relocated to Olney, TX in 1979 where they became active members of the Rising Star Baptist Church, under Pastor Dave Autry. Visitation for Mabel will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Funeral service will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m., June 16, 2005 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Autry, Rising Star Baptist Church and Rev. WALTON -- Elvira A. Walton, age 85, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Sunday, June 12, 2005, after a lengthy illness. WIGGANS -- Marvin S. Wiggans, age 91 and a resident of Albuquerque for 55 years died Friday June 10, 2005 following an illness. Mr. Wiggans is survived by his wife of 51 years, Martha Wiggans of Albuquerque; two sisters, Sara Edwards of Topeka, Kansas, and Lorene Mullen of Brea, California; and one sister-in-law, Julia Reini of Albuquerque. Mr. Wiggans was a member of Los Altos Christian Church, and Masonic Lodge #6 A.F. & A.M. A viewing and visitation will be held Tuesday June 14, 2005 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd, NE.
