CHAVEZ -- Tillie Faye OUR BELOVED TILLIE FAYE CHAVEZ July 31, 1920 - March 18, 2005 Went to be with the Lord March 18, 2005 on her daughter, Norma Muriel's, one-year anniversary. Gone also but never forgotten, we will miss her deeply. We are blessed and at peace to know that Tillie's suffering is ended; the lord sent His angels to take her to Heaven where she will spend eternity. Tillie, as recently as two months ago, even as sick as she was, joyfully and with great anticipation, attended Calvary Chapel almost every Sunday for years. Several years ago, Tillie was moved by the Spirit in church and publicly received the Lord and was blessed by, and loved Skip and Pete's anointed Gospel messages. She did agree and prayed recently with Rose Magos, her "angel caretaker"; if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him." For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-13. Thank you deeply Rose, for the loving care you gave Mom and that you did so, as unto to the Lord. Words cannot express our gratitude; as we watched you minister to her, you were His instrument, it blessed us abundantly! Not only did you give her daily nourishment but spiritual food as often. Gracias y bendieciones tambien, to her brother Pete Jaramillo, Tommie, Tillie, Lita, and Rita Gallegos, her sisters in Christ, that also spent frequent, quality time and energy with her, taking her to eat and to run errands. To Dave and Pat Weatherman for caring, to her niece Liz and Ray Ortega, Anthony Armijo for the great food and for always being there for us. Family and friends for the flowers, cards, calls of concern, and food for the service, for sharing your love with Tillie and for honoring her during this time with us. His rich blessings to each of you. We will never forget: her face, her sweet voice, her gentle touch that let us know we were loved, her love and respect for her sons, the traditions, homemade bread, recipes she cooked and handed down, the talks, the calls, the sharing, her loving-giving ways, the tears, her hard work, the sacrifices she made for us; all these lessons she taught are her gifts, our legacy. . .
