DUGGAN -- John Lawrence Duggan, 85, a resident of Albuquerque for many years, died Sunday, August 8, 2004 after a long illness. He is survived by his children, Kathleen Holcomb and husband, Phillip, Michael Duggan and wife, Martha Mitchell, Luana Duggan, Paul Duggan and wife, Cathy, Mark Duggan, and Jerry Duggan and wife, Elissa; and two grandchildren, Aidan and Colleen. Mr. Duggan was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae; two sons, Matthew and Kevin; and his faithful dog, Sally. John was born in Durango, CO in 1919. He graduated from Notre Dame University after serving in the 92nd Infantry Division in Italy in World War II. John was discharged with the rank of Major. He worked as an accountant for many years in Durango, Farmington, Gallup and Albuquerque. A private service was held. FOLEY -- Edward L. Edward L. Foley, age 91, formerly of Albuquerque, passed away in Littleton, CO on August 6, 2004. Husband of Sophie; father of Amelia Engle of Denver and Edward R. Foley of Massachusetts. Grandfather of six; great-grandfather of three. A memorial Mass was held on August 12, 2004 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Littleton, CO. Inurnment will be in Medford, MA.

FRIEDBERG -- Robert (Bob) Allan Friedberg December 28, 1946 - August 8, 2004 Bob Friedberg, 57, died on Sunday, August 8, 2004 in San Pinamar, Canelones, Uruguay. He is survived by his wife, Maria Fernanda Via Migliaro of San Pinamar; his mother, Opal Friedberg of Albuquerque; son, Michael Aaron of Albuquerque; grandsons, Andrew and Marcus; and brothers, Eugene of Wichita, KS and Donald of Albuquerque. A graduate of Sandia High School, Bob graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1969 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering while completing the ROTC program. Commissioned into the Navy, he served in the Republic of Vietnam, flying all over Asia utilizing his skills as an Intelligence Officer. Bob received his Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Wichita State University. Having recently settled in Uruguay, he will be interred at the local cemetery in San Pinamar. Local memorial Services will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church, 8510 Wyoming NE, on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 3:30 p.m.

GABRYS -- Emily Megan Gabrys, infant, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2004. She was here for too brief a time. Emily is survived by her parents, Walter John and Bernadette Deanne Tapia Gabrys of Rio Rancho; three sisters, Tarah, Ashley, and Melissa; Maternal grandmother, Carol Jean "Jeanie" Tapia and boyfriend Alan Wade of Albuquerque; Paternal grandparents, George and Elaine Gabrys of Rio Rancho; Great-grandmother, Blanche Szydlowski; Aunt Jolene Tapia and Uncle Anthony Gutierrez of Albuquerque; Aunt and Uncle Georgette and Tracy Oswalt of Grand Forks, ND; and cousins A. GAYNOR -- Joseph Patrick Gaynor, 84, born in Lambertville, NJ on October 23, 1919 to parents Joseph Aloysius Gaynor and Sarah Masten Gaynor, died on Thursday, August 12, 2004. Joseph, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, is survived by his wife of 60 years, Agnes Gaynor; sons, Dennis Gaynor and wife Becky of Albuquerque, and Jim Gaynor and wife Toni of Albuquerque; daughters, Kathy Brady of Portland, OR, Joan Gaynor of Torrance, CA, and Patricia Lloyd and husband Brian of Torrance, CA; grandchildren, Christopher Gaynor, Michael Gaynor and wife Sheri, Lauren Lloyd, Joseph Lloyd, Mathew Gaynor, and Rahanon Elsen; and great-granddaughter, Felicia Elsen. Joseph's surviving sisters are Anna Monaghan of New Hope, PA, Joan Scott of Lambertville, NJ, and Sally McConnell of New Hope, PA. Joseph was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Kooker and his brothers John Gaynor and Donald Gaynor. Joseph was a WWII veteran where he served in the Army Air Corps as a Lieutenant and a Captain in the Air Corps Reserve. He worked as a Group Manager at Sandia National Laboratory for 29 years and retired in 1982. Joseph was fully dedicated to his beloved wife and family. Our families have been blessed and enriched by his love, faith, wisdom, and sense of humor. He lived his life to the fullest and loved to read, cook, play golf, and travel to Spain with his wife, Agnes. Joseph was a member of Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited on Monday, August 16, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. HALL -- Kathleen Hall passed away suddenly, on August 11, 2004. She was born to Helen and Harold Blow on May 3, 1938 in New York City. Her parents and a son, Raymond, preceded her in death. Kathy moved to Albuquerque in 1971. She was employed by the University of New Mexico for 20 years retiring from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in 2000. She leaves to mourn her passing twin sons, Bradford and Roger; a sister, Gwendolyn Berkowitz; grandchildren, Helen, Ryan, Raymond Jr., and Keisha; a niece, Dawn Coffman; and nephew, William Ludeker; and a host of loving friends. A memorial to celebrate Kathy's life will be held, Monday, August 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Recreation Hall of Carlisle Plaza Senior Mobile Home Park, 2901 Carlisle Blvd. NE.

HILL -- Nelda J. Hill, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, August 13, 2004. She is survived by her husband, William B. Hill; son, Randy Hill and wife, Pat of Santa Fe; daughters, Linda Hill and Leslie Hill, both of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Karla, David, Curtis, Erica, Julie and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Graham, Ethan, Regan and Jeremy. HULLAND -- Deborah Ann Hulland. After a lengthy illness our beloved daughter passed away Thursday, August 12, 2004 in Albuquerque at the age of 38. She is preceded in death by her brother, Lavon Hulland Jr.; uncle, Edward Hulland; and her grandparents. She is survived by her father, Lavon Hulland; mother, Barbara Hulland; brother, Jeremiah Hulland; aunts, Jody Garcia, Jospehine Balfour, Joeline Carter and Dorothy Woods; special cousins, Janel Garcia and Alexis Scott; and numerous relatives and friends.
