He is survived by his sister, Cecilia Baca of Albuquerque; his brother, Milton Baca of Albuquerque; three nieces, Alissa Kreuch, Debi Jane Baca, and Denise Michelle Baca; and three nephews, Anthony Kreuch, Jr., Milton Baca III, and Francisco Baca all of Albuquerque. BACA -- Reynaldo Baca, 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, November 7, 2004. Reynaldo was born December 16, 1921 in Belen, New Mexico to Juan de Dios and Romanita Baca. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Benjamin and Joe Baca; and former wife, Lydia Baca. He is survived by his two sons, Ruben and wife, Patricia and Robert and wife, Bertina; three daughters, Marie Salazar and husband, David; Patricia Hernandez, and Dorothy Saavedra, all of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Baca and wife, Susie of Bullhead City, AZ; Max Baca and wife, Estelle, and John Baca and wife, Mary Louise, all of Albuquerque; six sisters, Dorothy Sanchez, Sarah Kropp, Martha Terrazas and husband, Bert, Ida Chavez and husband, Louis, and Mary Nilsen, all of Albuquerque and Priscilla Otero and husband, Carl of El Paso, TX; one sister in law, Barbara Baca of Fullerton, CA; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. He loved sports, travel, and cooking his favorite foods. His smile and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. BELL -- Verna. After a lengthy illness, Verna "Butchie" Bell happily joined her family in heaven on November 6, 2004. Born March 23, 1921 in House, NM, her time formerly established in this world produced a wonderful fulfilling life. Butchie experienced all she had desired to in life, among such, a mother, wife, successful businesswoman, and caring church worker. She enjoyed playing bridge and listening to books during her later years. Never inhospitable, Butchie welcomed all and had a loving ambiance about her. Joining her dear parents, Frank and Georgia Wallace, her caring husband, Paul Tex Bell, and her beloved son, Frank Bell, Butchie advances to a finer place. She will be deeply missed by her friends and especially her family; daughter, Vivian Mohler and husband, Jerry; Sons, Paul C. Bell and wife, Cathy, and John W. CASAUS -- Carlos M. Casaus, 86, passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2004. He was born in Las Vegas, NM and was raised in Santa Rosa, NM. He retired from the military as a Lieutenant Colonel. After serving in the Military Intelligence in Germany, Greece and Cuba, he was awarded the Legion of Merit for Peacetime Services. He lived in Holman, NM from 1970-1996, then moved to Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Delia Casaus; his daughter, Robinelle, and husband, Sheldon Hinchberger; his brothers, Mike, Eugene, Victor and Ernest; his sisters, Christine, Marcella Martinez and Dolores Fay; his step-grandson, step-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE., (North of San Antonio; South of Paseo del Norte; at the intersection of Wyoming and San Francisco). CHAVEZ -- Denise Patricia Chavez, age 27, passed away November 8, 2004 following a tragic automobile accident near Dilia, NM. Also killed in the accident was her three year old daughter Jaelynn her fiancee Christopher Rodarte and her aunt Veronica Gutierrez. Denise was born October 23, 1977 in Fort Sumner, NM the daughter of Patrick and Diane Gutierrez Chavez. She was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa where she graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1996. She was employed at Bob's Chevron in Santa Rosa for the past 6 years where she always greeted her customers with a smile. Denise was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be missed by all. She is preceded in death by an infant son Jayaire Sarabia, her daughter Jaelynn Rodarte, her fiancee Christopher Rodarte, her aunt Veronica Gutierrez and her paternal grandfather Lorenzo Chavez. Survivors include three sons that she cherished, Christian Chavez, Derrick Chavez and Christopher Rodarte, Jr., her loving parents Patrick and Diane Chavez, a sister Victoria Chavez, a brother Patrick Josh Chavez all of Santa Rosa, her nephews Devin Chavez and Javante Chavez. Also surviving are her maternal grandparents Antonio and Terry Gutierrez and her paternal grandmother Clara Chavez all of Santa Rosa along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2004 from the Santa Rosa High School Gymnasium with Father Nick Nichols officiating. COHEN -- Arthur. The family of Arthur Cohen is sad to announce his passing on Wednesday, November 10, 2004. Arthur was born July 23, 1931 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He and his family came to the United States in 1959. Arthur graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Science degree (Honors Chemistry), from McGill University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering and from Syracuse University with a Master of Science in Metallurgy. He worked for a number of companies, finally joining the Copper Development Association in New York City in 1967 with whom he remained as Manager of Standards and Safety Engineering until his retirement in 1997. He became Chairman of the board of Directors of the American Society for Testing and Materials in 1996 and also served as Vice President-Standardization of the American Society for Mechanical Engineers for 1995-1998. Arthur was the recipient of numerous technical society medals and awards. He lectured at many conferences. He published many articles in technical journals on a wide variety of subjects including chapters of numerous technical handbooks. He was an active member of Congregation B'nai Israel in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a docent for the National Atomic Museum. Three daughters survive him, Mara Perry of White Plains, New York, Dana Sprott of Parkland, Florida / Sint Maarten, Netherland Antilles and Marcia Wiener of Scotch Plains, New Jersey and two sisters, Mildred Glynn of Halifax, Nova Scotia and Roslyn Boes of Ottawa, Ontario. Five grandchildren also survive him. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Congregation B'nai Israel Cemetery, 700 Yale Blvd. SE. DAHLINGER -- Donald Lee Dahlinger, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed on to eternal life at his home in Albuquerque on Monday, November 8, 2004. He was born in North Platte, NE to John and Mary Dahlinger on May 6, 1942. He was married to his wife, LaVay, of 43 years until his passing. They moved from North Platte to Albuquerque in December of 1984. His first love was his family. He was so proud of all his grandchildren. His passion was in his woodworking and building items for his family and friends. Until renal failure, Don loved to go camping and fishing. He and his fishing buddy always shared their fish stories. His faith in God and the church kept his determination for life alive. Don previously employed with Albuquerque Floor and Tile. He is survived by his wife, LaVay; children, Rodney and Gina Dahlinger of Seattle; Kent and Elizabeth Dahlinger of Albuquerque, Shannon and John Patrone of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Taryn, Keaton, Brandi Jo, Austin, McKenna, Justus, Rafe, Cameron, and Talen; two sisters, Karen and David Colan of Grand Island, NE, Carrol and Ron Virus of St. Louis MO; a brother, Gary and Karen Dahlinger of Albany, OR; and several nieces and nephews. GRAVES -- Annie "Ruth" Graves, 93, a 67- year resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2004. Ruth was born in Malden, MO on February 22, 1911. She is survived by her daughter, R. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A Graves, parents; four sisters; grandson, Gregory M. Mutter; and son-in-law, Harry T. Montgomery. Mrs. Graves will be greatly missed by her family and friends. GUTIERREZ -- Veronica Gutierrez, age 46, passed away November 8, 2004 following a tragic automobile accident near Dilia, NM. Also killed were her niece Denise Chavez, her great-niece, Jaelynn Rodarte, and Christopher Rodarte. Veronica was born May 22, 1958 in Santa Rosa, NM to the home of Antonio and Terry Baca Gutierrez. She was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa where she graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1976. Veronica enjoyed bingo, and attending the Santa Rosa Lady Lion Volleyball and Basketball games. She was a loving mother to her kids; they meant the world to her. She is preceded in death by her niece, Denise Chavez; great-niece, Jaelynn Rodarte; great-nephew, Jayaire Sarabia; paternal grandmother, Donaciana Amador; and maternal great-grandmother, Amalia Baca. KEENLEYSIDE -- A.E. "Nancy" age 93. Nancy died peacefully November 2, 2004 after a short illness. In November 1999 she emigrated from Sunderland, UK, to Albuquerque. Although Nancy missed her family and friends in England, she loved New Mexico and delighted in time spent with her family and many close friends. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Alison & Bill Cox; granddaughter and husband, Belinda & Patrick Wilhusen; and two great-granddaugh-ters, Brittany and Amber. Her love, grace, and sense of humor will be sorely missed by everyone. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.

LEE -- Gwen Lee was born in Reno, Nevada, September 5, 1946 and passed away in Albuquerque Monday, November 8, 2004. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed camping, fishing, and holidays. A career Air Force wife, Gwen joined her husband, traveling around the world, in various Air Force assignments, and she was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Married, August 3, 1963, Gwen is survived by her husband of 41 years, George Lee of the family home in Bosque Farms; her sons, Buddy, James, George, and Jeffery; her daughter, Tracy; 13 grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. MORA -- Ralph Albert Mora, 47, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2004, following a brief illness. Ralph's greatest love in life was his son, Anthony. Anthony was his pride and joy. Ralph's fondest memories were of his son and the times they spent swimming, playing football, watching movies, and just "hanging out." He was especially proud to watch his son graduate from high school this year. Ralph also enjoyed his work and the many different people he met and spoke to through his employment. Ralph enjoyed sports, especially golf and football, and was an avid reader. Ralph is survived by his son, Anthony; parents, Paul and Irene Fjelseth; sister, Denise Miller and her husband Jay; sister, Valerie McLeod and her husband Jim; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence Mora and biological father, William Mora. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday November 12, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7500 Paseo Del Norte, NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ralph was a loved father, son, brother and friend who touched many lives and will be greatly missed. Although it is difficult to say goodbye, we should all be consoled by the knowledge that Ralph is now free from pain and illness and is truly at peace.

MURPHY -- Edward M. Murphy, 85, a resident of New Mexico for over 42 years, passed away unexpectedly on November 3. Ed was loved dearly by his wife, Virginia, his daughter, Diane Murphy Dunn and her husband, Charles, and many extended family members and special friends. He was preceded in death by two children, Aris Murphy and Cheri Murphy. Ed served during World War II in the United States Army Air Corps, first as a mechanic, and then as a B-17 bomber pilot in the European Theater. He flew 25 missions over Germany and was decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross before training B-29 pilots in Alamogordo, NM and completing his service as a Captain. Ed worked for Mt. Bell Telephone Co., and its successors for almost 30 years. He was based in Albuquerque as Benefit Administrator for New Mexico and retired in 1979. He belonged to the American Legion Post 49. RIVERA -- Marviline (Marti) Rivera, age 69, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Tuesday, November 9, 2004, while surrounded by her loving family. Marviline was born in Farmersville, TX and was a resident of Albuquerque. She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church; formerly a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, where she served as past President of the Altar and Rosary Society; and a Parish Council member. Marviline was an Artist; she wrote two novels; and was a great and wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, who always loved her family to no end. RODARTE -- Jaelynn Mariah Rodarte, age 3, passed away November 8, 2004 following a tragic automobile accident near Dilia, NM. Also killed was her mother Denise Chavez, her father Christopher Rodarte and aunt Veronica Gutierrez. Jaelynn was born September 21, 2001 in Las Vegas, NM. She was a loving little girl who loved dressing up, looking at herself in the mirror and playing with her brothers and cousins. During the three short years of her life, Jaelynn brought joy to the lives of others. She has now joined the many angels in heaven along with her mommy, daddy, aunt and her brother. Jacob was a second degree black belt in Karate as well as an instructor and referee. ROWDABAUGH -- Louise B. Rowdabaugh, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died in Albuquerque on Saturday, November 6, 2004. She was born Gertrude Louise Benerman in Philadelphia, PA, the second child of Gertrude Kirk Benerman and Watkins Benerman. She is survived by her husband, Marshall J Rowdabaugh of Albuquerque, her son, Kirk M Rowdabaugh and his wife Patti of Phoenix, AZ, her daughter, Marsha L. Jacklin and her husband William of Albuquerque. In addition to being a devoted mother, she was a volunteer with the medical auxillaries of Presbyterian Hospital and Saint Joseph's Hospital, Kristina Kent School, Casa Angelica, All Faiths' Receiving home, and the Animal Humane Association. She was a founding member of Hoe Handlers garden club and a neighborhood ladies investment club. She served in the school PTA and as a Girl Scout leader and as a den mother for her children. An active and ardent supporter of state and national politics, she served with the New Mexico Medical PAC, AMPAC, the Goldwater Campaign, and the Cargo Campaigns as well as being a voter registrar and poll worker for 40 years. She attended the University of New Mexico from 1969 to 1972, with studies in Art, History, and Political Science. She played bridge with a number of groups and took up round dancing with Marshall when she was in her 60s. She was perhaps best known as a china painter, an avocation she began in 1967. She achieved numerous Best-In-Show awards at the New Mexico State Fair, and was commissioned by the New Mexico State Federation of China Painters to paint a tea service which was then presented to the Governor's Mansion during the second term of Gov. Bruce King. She was a founding member of the Porcelain Artists Club of Albuquerque, for which she served as president numerous times, as well as coordinator of the NMSF China Painting division of the Fine Arts Gallery. She became a member of PEO in 1983, with the organization of Chapter BH, Albuquerque and served as President of that chapter in 1992-93. Interment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery will occur Friday, November 12 with family members present. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of French Mortuary on Saturday, November 13, at 11:00 a.m., and will be followed by an informal luncheon for family and friends at the home of her daughter Marsha. She was also an artist and worked mostly in oils and acrylics.
