Her calling home to heaven has left us heartbroken. But, we are people of faith and we know where she is. We publish these words in the city where she always lived in memorium to her life with us all. "We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in your passing we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone, for a part of each us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are forever at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing will ever feel the same; but as God calls us one by one, Our Chain will link again... WE MISS YOU SO MUCH MICHELLE FOREVER OUR LOVE IS WITH YOU, ALL OUR LOVE, Dad, Mom, Amanda, Tina, Tenille, Danielle and Family If you read this and you are a person of Prayer, please pray with us that God will grant our Michelle the Rich Reward in Heaven that she earned so honorably in the way she lived her life. GURULE -- Reuben In Memory of Reuben (Lee) Gurule July 27, 1941 - October 30, 2002 I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus' love illumined Every dark and fearful glade. And He came Himself to meet me In that way so hard to tread; And with Jesus' arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread? Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still: Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's Will. There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth- You shall rest in Jesus' land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come! Loving you forever, Linda, Craig and Christopher

Earl I. and Alda (Beebe) Prosser in Cavour, S. Dakota. Her parents moved to Bear Lake, Michigan in September of 1922. Being the daughter of a Methodist minister required that she move frequently with her family. She viewed each move enthusiastically as an opportunity to make new friends, an attitude that she maintained throughout her lifetime. She graduated from Howard City (Michigan) High School in 1935. She attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana and earned her A.B. degree with science majors in 1940. She taught high school in Byron Center, Michigan where one of her students thought she was so special that she should be introduced to his older brother, Clifford. They lived in Dayton, Ohio: Urbana, Illinois (where she was an assistant in the Department of Biology); Cleveland, Ohio; Pella, Iowa (where she taught chemistry and education courses at Central College); Bandung, Indonesia (where she taught English to neighbors and chemistry majors. While continuing to teach, she earned her MST degree from New Mexico Tech in 1970. She was active in the NM State Science Teachers Association and served as President at one time. In 1977-1978 she was honored by that organization as Outstanding Science Teacher of the year. Ruth enjoyed singing in community choruses and church choirs. She was an active member of the Socorro Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school classes, served as Deacon and Elder. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Socorro, to the Socorro Good Samaritan Village, or to a charity of one's choice. At her request, Ruth's body has been donated to the University of New Mexico Medical School, her final gesture of generosity and in keeping with her life-long passion for science and education.
