Agnes -- Frances Irene Agnes, 70, a resident of Albuquerque for 61 years, passed away June 19, 2003. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Russey and husband, Joe of Albuquerque, Eugene G. Agnes II and wife, Mary of Mesa, AZ and Jayne Agnes of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Kammara Russey, Francesca Agnes, Alexandra Agnes, Kaylah Russey and Maryssa Agnes; her mother, Beulah Greer; seven sisters; three brothers; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2003, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Clemons -- Kyoko K. Clemons, a 36-year resident of Albuquerque, has returned to her loving husbands arms on June 19, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at age 72. She is survived by her children James, Janet and Margarette, daughter-in-law, Margaret, and grandchildren Darlaina, William, Jamie, Jerry and Gina. The best daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother as well as a giving and caring person, she had for many years taken care of others with her best friend and co-worker Virginia. After a long life, it came to be her turn to be cared for, and there are still good people now, as there was then. Our family gives heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Kaseman/Presbyterian Hospice personnel who where there when needed. Memorial services will be held at Fitzgerald & Sons Carlisle Chapel on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at 9:00 a.m., followed immediately after by internment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Curtis -- Wesley Edward Curtis, age 84, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 20, 2003. He was born on August 25, 1918 to the late Edward James and Annie Mabel C. (Walker). Survivors include sons, Mark Curtis of Albuquerque, Kipp Curtis of Albuquerque; grandson, Kristofer Curtis of Albuquerque; great grandson, Kelton Curtis of Albuquerque. Wesley's many accomplishments include; being a student in Dunkirk, NY Coll. Center, 1936 -1937, U. Buffalo, 1937 B.S., Alfred U. 1940, married Virginia Janet Austin, May 29, 1949; he was a Chemist with Atlas Feldspar Corp 1940-1942; research fellow Alfred U., 1942-1944; research assoc. Woods Hole Oceanographic Instn, 1944-1947; physicist U.S. Army Ballistics Research Lab, Aberdeen, MD, 1947-1956; system analyst Tech Ops. Inc, Ft. Belvoir, VA, 1956-1967; Sr. Operations Analyst Dikewood Corp Albuquerque, 1967-1983. Wesley was a U.S. Naval Ordnance Development award recipient 1947 Mem. Ops Research Soc. Am., AAAS, Sigma Xi. He was a member of the Elks, a volunteer for the Nat'l Atomic museum for many years, VITA Tax Prep Volunteer for shut-ins and indigent persons. Wesley was an avid world traveler, his children remember the many spur of the moment road trips. He traveled to Belize, Central America and around the world at least twice. Wesley traveled the last US flight from Cuba in 1959 before Castro took over. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2003 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Gallegos -- Harold R. June 23, 1969-October 2, 2000 "Happy Birthday Harold" Today we are thinking about you wishing you were here. We miss and love you very much. Maestas -- Gregorio Maestas, beloved father, husband, and friend, passed into the arms of our Lord, June 18, 2003, surrounded by all of his loving family and friends. Greg was preceded in death by his wife Senaida Maestas, son Felix Maestas, daughter Gloria, and grandchildren David, Allen, and Evelyn. He is survived by his eleven children, sons Raymond Maestas and wife Analee, Greg Maestas and wife Karen, daughter Elizabeth Maestas, son Edward Maestas and wife Margie, daughter Sandra Maestas, son Steven Maestas and wife Diana, daughters Barbara Molina and husband David, Angie Pritchett and husband Greg, sons Anthony Maestas, Wilfred Maestas and Carmen, Dennis Maestas and wife Mary; two brothers; three sisters; 31 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; numerous other family members and friends in the Valley and Los Lunas, who loved him deeply and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. A rosary will be recited at 9:00am on Friday, June 21, 2003, followed by a communion service at 10:00am. Immediately following the communion service, the family will gather at the home of Ray and Analee Maestas. Greg will be interred at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Monday, June 23, 2003 at 11:00am. Immediately following the interment the family will gather at the home of Ray and Analee Maestas. Dad, you will be greatly missed by all of us. We love you dad. Pardo -- Brian T. Pardo, 42, a native of Albuquerque, and a resident of Cedar Grove, passed away suddenly. A graduate of Del Norte High School and T-VI, he was a Mechanical Technician at Sandia National Labs for 18 years. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, hunting, his horses and the company of his family and many friends. He is survived by his parents, Julio and Carol Pardo; his sisters, Karen Boyce of Shawnee, KS and Alisa Baremore of Albuquerque; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to Walkin N Circle Equine Rescue, 198 Wiemer Road, Edgewood, New Mexico 87015. Tucker -- James Bruce Tucker, M.D., died Saturday, June 14, 2003 of natural causes. Dr. Tucker was born March 4, 1908 in Troy, Tennessee. He graduated from medical school at the University of Tennessee in 1935 and married Jennie Laverne Daniels. Dr. Tucker practiced medicine in Texas, Tennessee, Alaska, and Arizona for forty years. During his medical career, he was active in local and state medical societies, including being named as one of the earliest members of the National Board of Family Practice, his appointment as President of the Pinal County Medical Board, and his tenures as Chief of Staff of Homeoko Hospital, Pinal County Hospital, and Maynard Memorial Hospital. He had been named President of the Pinal County Medical Society several times. Dr. Tucker retired from private practice in 1973, and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Jennie Laverne Tucker, daughter; Phyllis L. Miller of Albuquerque, grandsons; Harry B. Tucker of Nampa, Idaho, Thomas I. Tucker of Albuquerque, Richard J. Tucker of Boise, Idaho, Christopher S. Miller of Seattle, Washington, great grandchildren; Amanda Tucker, Tony Tucker, Ky Tucker, and Kody Tucker, great great-grandchild; Antonio Tucker-Cruz, nieces; Billie Lynn Tucker-Brown and Mary Ann Tucker-Matzdorf of Arizona, and Nancy Birdsong, as well as Charles Jones and Horace Jones of Tennessee, and John, Jerry, and Carl Dorman of Arkansas. Weber -- Armin; The Rev. Armin F. Weber, Jr., 79, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at his home in Albuquerque. After serving as an officer in the United States Navy during World War II and working fifteen years in business, Rev. Weber pastored seven E.U.B. and United Methodist congregations in Wisconsin and New Mexico from 1960 to 1986. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marjorie; by his children, Karen Floyd, Greg Weber, Laura Read and husband, Gary, Howard Weber and wife, Leila, Lisa Donaldson and husband, Blair, Wendy Weber, and Mike Weber; and by his eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. We will all cherish the memory of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and pastor. A memorial service will be held today to honor the Rev. Armin F. Weber, Jr., and to celebrate his life. The service begins at 1:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave. NE, with Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating.
