Aragon -- Robert (Wedo) Aragon, age 57, beloved husband, father, and brother was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, Wednesday, May 28, 2003. Robert was a resident of Bernalillo; a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church; and a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Georgina Aragon of the family home; his precious daughter, Belinda Aragon; one brother Desi Aragon and Gina of Albuquerque; four sisters, Bernie Lopez and husband, Nazareno of Alameda, Minie Salazar and husband, Gilbert of Bernalillo, Elma Garcia of Jarales, NM, Rachel Aragon of Albuquerque; other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Coffman -- Chloe Coffman was born Wannie Chloe Caughran, December 5, 1913 in Munday, TX. She was particularly fond of sharing the fact that she and her family moved to Grady, New Mexico when she was 18 months old in a covered wagon. She married Morton Coffman on December 24, 1939. They moved to Dove Creek, Colorado where she worked with her husband farming, ranching and living off the land. She was also an elementary school teacher for 32 years. She lived in Albuquerque for the last eight years. Chloe was very active in the community and in the Methodist Church her entire life. She was loved and respected by her family, students, and friends. Chloe was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother. She is survived by her brother, Virgil Caughran and his wife, Elsie of Albuquerque; her daughter, Barbara Woodward and her husband, Bob of Albuquerque; her son, Leroy Coffman and his wife, Carol of Tallahasee, Florida; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Chloe was a wonderful, kind and fun lady with an endless, angelic disposition. She will be deeply missed by all of us. Private family services will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Edwards -- Mary M. Edwards, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Thursday, May 29, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Grover W. Edwards of Albuquerque; and stepbrother, Donald Cox of Dayton, OH. Mrs. Edwards was employed with the Air Force and Department of Energy for 27 years before retiring. She was a Charter Member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was the organist for many years. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor Luther M. Mathsen officiating. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. Graff -- Anthony J Graff, 86, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2003. Lucero -- Donald C. Lucero, 70, a long time resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, May 29, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Mae, his son, Robert and wife, Shannon Lucero, grandchildren, Jolene and Gavin, his daughter, Alice and husband Mark McCrea, grandchildren, Jeffrey and Dawnn, his son, Johnny Lucero, and granddaughter Jennifer, and his daughter, Donna and husband, James Saya, and granddaughter, Rachel. He is preceded in death by his little angel, Kristen, his granddaughter. Donald grew up at St. Anthony's Boy School. He served in the United States Navy for 20 years and retired with honors. Rosary will be recited, Monday, 7:00 p.m. at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Rd NE. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at Sangre de Cristo. Mills -- Martha Mills, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Thursday, May 29, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Easton E. Mills of Albuquerque; daughter, Janet Cde Baca of Rio Rancho; son, Craig Easton Mills of Columbus, OH; four granddaughters, Alicia Sharpe and husband, Jason, Marina Mills all of Albuquerque; Ariel Mills and Alima Mills of Santa Fe; two grandsons, Christopher Cde Baca and wife, Theresa of White Rock, NM and Andrew Joel Mills of Albuquerque; and her dog, Lovey. She married Easton E. Mills June 28, 1944. This year they would have been married for 59 years. Mrs. Mills loved all creatures, great and small. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Cremation has taken place and Memorial services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual NE. Saylor -- Mildred L. Saylor, 93, died on Saturday, May 31, 2003, in Festus, MO. Mildred was the beloved wife of the late, Levi E. Saylor; loving mother of Anita Sims; grandmother of Lisa Matthews and Scott Simms; and our dear great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2003, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Swope -- Emry Daniel Swope, 89, died at his home on Saturday May 31, 2003. He was born on April 6, 1914, in Knobnoster, MO, to the late Daniel and Willie Swope. The family moved later that year to Mountainair to homestead. Emry had to go to work at an early age to help support the family after his father was killed in an automobile accident. His first jobs included farming and working at the Mountainair bean elevator. Emry married Opal Green on May 31, 1941. Shortly after their wedding, they moved to Santa Monica, CA, where Emry contributed to the war effort by working for Douglas Aircraft. They were asked to return to Mountainair two years later to help Opal's parents on their farm. Emry and Opal purchased their own farm and produced pinto beans until 1953. During that time, they had two children, Helen and Clifton. Beginning in 1953, Emery worked various construction jobs that took the family to Santa Fe, Carlsbad, Las Cruces, and El Paso, TX. They returned to Mountainair in 1957, and Emery went to work for the State Highway Department. He retired in 1982 after 25 years of service. He and Opal have lived in Belen since 1967 and have been active in their local church. Emry in survived by Opal, his wife of 62 years; his daughter and her husband, Helen and Newton Floyd; and his son, Clifton all of Belen. He also is survived by his grandson and his wife, Randall and Cindy Floyd, and their children, Michael and Christopher, of San Ysidro, and Richard Barksdale of Aztec; his grandson, Tim Floyd of Denver, CO; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. In addition to his parents, Emry was preceded in death by three brothers; and four sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM. Emry's grandsons, Rev. Randall Floyd and Tim Floyd, and Rev. Jim Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Harris, Kerry Harris, Kent Harris, Timothy Swope, Jamie Swope, Tim Floyd, and Jimmy Sullinger.
