Pedregon -- IN MEMORY OF JOE PEDREGON ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARYJune 2, 1949- August 23, 2001Sweetheart, today is the anniversary of your passing on to a better world -a world free from pain. I still wait for you to come back to me, but I know that is not possible. I know I can't see you again -not in human form -but in spirit I can see and feel you.¯ My favorite song sung by Etta James,"At Last"; her music reflects how my life has been changed forever because of you. Although your leaving has caused me grief and pain, your sense of humor, your laughter, your smile, your love of life and the people you loved in your life, all of the gifts you left me; give me strength and courage to go on living. Your spirit will live with me to eternity. May your soul rest in peace. Cooking and camping is what you loved, your spirit is like a flying dove, you were there when I needed to talk, I miss going on our little walks. Grandma, no one could compare the way you touched my heart, even though we had to part. You made me smile, you're so sweet, I'm thinking of you with feelings so deep. Your hugs and smile were the best, Your laughter and kisses gave life an extra zest. Holidays were your favorite time of the year, I can't bear that you are not here. Another mom you were to me, How bad could this pain be. Even though it had to end, I pray I go to heaven to see you again. You have this special place in my heart, that no one could ever tear apart.
