Armijo -- Angela F. Armillo, age 45, a life long resident of Albuquerque, died Friday in a local hospital following a long illness. She is survived by her son, Bobby Armijo; grandchildren, Bobby Anthony and Cecilia Sanchez; parents, Martin and Cecilia Sanchez; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Gennie Sanchez; husband, Robert Armijo; and numerous aunts and uncles. The Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel of Strong Thorne Mortuary. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fr. James Moore, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Serving as casket bearers will be Kevin Gutierrez, James Gutierrez, Daniel Sanchez, Carlos Gutierrez, Andres Jojola, Jr., Andrew Romero. Arthur -- Syble Arthur was born January 29, 1924 to the union of Logan and Margaret Burk. She was the seventh of eight children. Three brothers and four sisters. She married Irvin Arthur, May 3, 1941. He preceded her in death. She is survived by their three children, Dale Arthur and wife, Roberta of Albuquerque, NM, Darrell Arthur and wife, Betty of Carlsbad, NM, and Yvonne Hunter and husband, Jim of Monte Vista, CO. Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Ines Slavin of Monticello, UT and Billie Jack of Angel Fire, NM; one sister-in-law, Opal Elam of Raton, NM and a host of nieces and nephews. She took the Lord as her Savior when she was twelve years old and was baptized in the Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place. Placement of the Urn will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Bostick -- Elizabeth Ann Bostick, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, February 8, 2001. Elizabeth Ann was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her mother, Grace E. Bostick; brothers, Leon Bostick and wife, Shirley, all of Albuquerque and Royce Bostick and wife, Lucille, of Bloomfield, NM; sister, Linda Spellins and husband, Larry, of Irving, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Clem J. Bostick on July 17, 1982, and sister, Grace Evadne Manning on June 24, 1992. She attended Temple Baptist Church all of her life. Elizabeth Ann was deeply loved, and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor J. Bowlin -- MaryLou Bowlin was born November 21, 1915 and passed away on February 6, 2001 in San Diego, CA. MaryLou was born in San Diego, but spent most of her life in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cook Bowlin and son, Bill Bowlin. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Hinton and family of San Diego; and sons, Jack Bowlin and family of Albuquerque, and Bob Bowlin and Family of Grants; she had fifteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. MaryLou and her husband, were members of the Tumbleweed RV Club and enjoyed many years RVing with friends. Cremation was held by the Neptune Society of San Diego and her ashes will be taken out to sea. No Service is planned at this time.

Casey -- Marian E. Casey, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 30 years, passed away February 7, 2001 at St. Francis Gardens Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Justin Casey and two brothers, Jim and Joe Bailey. Dalin -- Cid H. Dalin, Jr., 73, beloved husband and father, and a resident of the Albuquerque area since 1954, died Wednesday, February 7, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Virginia Dalin of Tijeras; daughters, Lark Marie Robart and husband, David of Albuquerque and Tracey Ann Hutchison and husband, Allen of Conifer, CO; grandchildren, Jacob Dalin Hertz of Denver, CO and Lindsay Dalin Hertz of Austin, TX; brother, Clayton Raymond Dalin and wife, Stella of Helena, MT; and sister, Mary Karen Dalin of Old Town, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cid and Georgianna Frances Dalin and sister, Shirley Wear. Mr. Dalin served in the United States Army during WWII. Dismuke -- Joan Harms Dismuke, 65, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, February 5, 2001, surrounded by her children. She was born to Leon and Pauline Harms on June 4, 1935, in Hillsboro, KS. In 1936, her family moved to New Mexico where she lived the rest of her life. She graduated from Highland High School in 1953 and attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM where she majored in music. On August 25, 1956, she married William"Bill" Dismuke, who in 1989 preceded her in death. She is survived by her four children, daughter, Ruth Dismuke-Blakely and husband, Stuart; sons, Mark Dewey Dismuke and Cathy Shemek, Daniel Paul Dismuke and Stephen William Dismuke and wife, Danielle; brothers, Leon Gene Harms and Paul Harms; seven grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as a host of friends. Joan was a lifelong horsewoman, raising and showing Quarter Horses and was active in the NM Quarter Horse Assoc., the NM Palomino Horse Breeders Assoc. and gave many hours to the 4-H Club. In 1987, she became involved in raising and showing Corriente Cattle through the North American Corriente Assoc. and operated the Diamond Tail Ranch until her death. She is a charter member of the Immanual Presbyterian Church. Joan had many honors throughout her life, most recently the recipient of the SW Corriente Assoc. Heritage Award. In the past few years, her Corriente Cattle were her passion and gave her great joy and satisfaction. She was a devoted mother and grandmother giving countless hours to her children and grandchildren throughout her entire life. She had a powerful love of life, enduring strength and a sense of humor that sustained her. Cremation has taken place and a private interment is planned. Memorial Services were held at Immanual Presbyterian Church, on Saturday, February 10, 2001. A memorial fund has been set up in her honor. Gilbert -- Col. Raymond Harlan Gilbert, Jr. USAF Ret., born September 5, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2001. Col. Gilbert graduated from West Point in 1946 and the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1952 and received a MA in political science from George Washington University in 1967. This coincided with the completion of his thesis at the Air War College at Maxwell AFB, AL where he was #1 in his class and won the thesis of the year award for his"Role of the Military in Providing National Leadership: a case study of South Korea", drawing upon his service in Korea 1947-1948. In 1967 he was transferred to Sandia Base, NM where he was in charge of Nuclear weapons safety. He later became deputy base commander of the newly combined KAFB and retired, as Base Commander of KAFB from the Air Force in 1976. His medals include the Legion of Merit, Joint Service Commendation Medal, and the Air Force Commendation Medal. Col. Gilbert was a 32nd Degree Mason and enjoyed many volunteer activities, but most of all, enjoyed spending time at his mountain cabin in White Pine, CO. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gwendolyn Jones Gilbert of Albuquerque; his loving daughter, Jeanette Roxanne Gilbert of Arvada, CO; his devoted son, Dr. Raymond H. Gilbert, III; loving daughter-in-law, Barbara Gilbert and grandchildren, Danny, Debbie and Steven Gilbert all of Albuquerque. Services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2001, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. Griebling -- Florence P. Griebling 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Friday, February 9, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Lange and husband, Bob of Albuquerque; son, Ed Griebling of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Michelle and Chris Lange of Albuquerque; great grandchild, Richard McClurg also of Albuquerque; and a brother, George Pearson and wife, Kay of Ellsworth, Maine. Mrs. Griebling was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Edward, two brothers, Edwin and Herman Pearson and two sisters, Anne White and Helen Wilson. Mrs. Griebling served her country as a civilian employee of the US Army Air Corps. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Rio Rancho Wednesday Night Bridge Club. Jennings -- John Clifton Jennings, age 63, of Albuquerque, died at home February 6, 2001. John was born November 27, 1937 in Santa Fe, NM., to Quincy and Etoile (McKee) Jennings, who both preceded him in death. He was a simple man who loved the simple things of life- a cup of coffee on the porch, the mountains, his dogs, and the Lord. He will be greatly missed. Jontry -- Esther Jontry, age 87, Chadds Ford, PA, Former resident of Albuquerque, NM passed peacefully on February 5, 2001. Esther is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Bonnie E. Kummerer -- Flora G. Kummerer, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Extended Care Unit. She had suffered from diminished renal function, complicated by Diabetes. She was born in Albuquerque on October 29, 1921. She graduated from Santa Fe High School, joined the WAC's in 1944 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1945. She returned to Albuquerque and obtained work at St. Joseph's Hospital. At the time she retired from the hospital, she was a surgical pace maker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Rosarita Villanueve and her estranged husband, Anthony F. Kummerer. She is survived by her son, Clifford Kummerer of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Nick Villanueve and his wife, Lucy; sister, Lucy Chavez and her husband, Fred; nieces, Doanne Rolling and Lori Rose; nephew, Mark Anthony Chavez; and numerous cousins. A Rosary will be held in her honor at the San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 on Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM on Wednesday, February 14, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staffs of the Dialysis Clines, Inc. on Central Avenue, who did their best to keep her comfortable near the end of her life, to the VA Hospital Extended Care Unit who helped her passing to be peaceful and with little pain. A very special thanks to Michelle McKensy and the members of the VA Cardiac Walking Group who gave her final years meaning, filled with laughter and joy. Montgomery -- Tom Montgomery, 43, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at Presbyterian Hospital. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Harry T. Montgomery. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie P. Montgomery; and sister, Phyllis R. Montgomery. Tom was born February 28, 1957 in Albuquerque. He attended Highland High, Albuquerque High and Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute. Tom had been employed in insurance areas related to workers' compensation. His affection for his pets was unlimited. Tom had a lifelong fascination with southwest history and art. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball all his life, both playing and watching. Above all, Tom loved the New Mexico outdoors. Camping, hiking, fishing or just walking through the desert, it renewed his spirit. Tom will be missed so very much by his family, his dog, Dilly-bird, his cat, Daisy, and by his many wonderful friends. We wish to thank Chuck, Ronnie, Pete R., Pete V., David and Carmen for their loyalty and love for Tom. Neuzil -- Nathan Neuzil a long time resident of New Mexico, passed away at home on February 4, 2001. Nathan is survived by his wife, Margaret Russell; sister, Elaine Bratrsovsky of CO; brother, Father Lowell Greg Neuzil of TN. Pachelli -- Antonietta Tufaro Pachelli, 36, a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 7, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Adrianna Pachelli who shared her beauty and grace, her son Andrew Pachelli who shared her charismatic spirit; her father Dominick Tufaro and wife, Vittoria of Italy; sister, Rosa Sterk and husband, Todd; brother, Jerry Tufaro and wife, Lori all of Albuquerque; nieces, Ally Pachelli, Rachel Tufaro, and Amanda Rose Sterk; nephews, Ryan Sterk and Nick Pachelli and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by her special friends, Kelly Gasparich, Janine Wilkins, and Lainie Tucker. Antonietta was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Tufaro and daughter, Maria Antonetta Pachelli. She was a beautiful ray of sunshine to everyone who crossed her path. Her devotion to her children inspired all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Rosary will be held on Monday February 12, 2001, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. Mass for Tuesday is pending. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Radig -- Esther Radig, 89, passed away February 8, 2001. She had been a resident of Albuquerque since the 1930's, coming from Buffalo, NY. Esther was a long time member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church and was also a drapery maker. She is survived by her step-son, William Radig and wife, Mary, WV; grandson, William J. Radig Jr. and wife, Tonya and their daughter, Alyssa; and granddaughter, Valerie Ellis and her children, Jennifer and Jeremy, all of Huntington, WV Visitation for Esther will be Monday, February 12, 2001, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Richmond -- Bonnie Hazel Richmond was born on January 21, 1918, in St. Paul, MN to Hazel and Sprajue Smith. Her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Dell, preceded her in death. On July 31, 1938, Bonnie married Fay Henry Richmond in Inver Grove, MN. Fay also precedes her in death. Bonnie was the mother of Ray Sprague Richmond of Placitas, Bonnie Fay Baird of Milwaukie, OR, and Kelly Ann Cockrell of Roswell; she was the grandmother of 11 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Bonnie was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star. Bonnie's career included such jobs as journalist in Minnesota, Fire Fighter on a fire boat in Portland, OR and 16 years as a bookkeeper for a large restaurant in Portland, and real estate and travel agent in Albuquerque, NM. Bonnie enjoyed water skiing, cooking, traveling and animals. Bonnie was a devoted mother and wife. She died peacefully on February 7, 2001, at a nursing home in Roswell. Memorials may be given in her name to the Roswell Humane Society of First United Methodist Church in Roswell. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2001 at First United Methodist Church in Roswell. Pastor Steve Chappell will officiate.

Rodriguez -- Alfred Rodriguez, 74, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother was called home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 8, 2001. Mr. Rodriguez was born in San Antonio, NM to the late Tony and Rita Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving wife, Amelia and children, Jonathan Rodriguez of Ranchitos, Sadie Stanley and Patricia Wilkenson both of Corrales, NM; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary Ann Lopez of Albuquerque, Lena Baca of San Bernadino, CA. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Ronquillo -- Carlos J. Ronquillo, 53, born in Winslow, AZ. on March 19, 1947, formally of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on February 2, 2001 in Stratford, CT. He was employed by Xerox Corp. for 28 years. He is survived by his wife, Helen; four children, Robert, Stephen and wife, Cherry, Christine and husband, Johnny, and Ron Paul; three grandchildren, Randy, Travis and Maddy-Jo, all from Leesburg VA; his mom, Beatrice Ronquillo of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers and three sisters, Ben Ronquillo Jr. and wife, Malia of Pecos, NM, Richard Ronquillo and wife, Louisa of Albuquerque, NM, Konnie Schwegman and husband, Bill of Las Vegas, NV, Dolores Henricksen and husband, Ricky, of Gresham, OR, Kathy De Paula and husband, Steve of Santa Fe, NM; nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces too numerous to mention; and many friends that will miss him dearly. Root -- Helen Alice Root, age 75, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 30, 2001. She passed from this life of natural causes in her sleep. Mrs. Root was born to Fred and Dolly Tenkotte in Helena, Montana on March 7, 1925. Mrs. Root was preceded in death by her brother, Bob and by her parents. She is survived by three daughters; Janalynn Paula Burnett and husband, Roger of Lincoln, CA, Gloria Jean Burch and husband, Larry of Albuquerque, NM and Leasa Helen Thompson and husband, David of Albuquerque, NM; she is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and niece, Leni Matherly, and husband, Lee of Sparks, NV; and many other nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Root's life and a Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ, 7201 Montgomery Blvd. NE. All are welcome.

Sena -- Our beloved sister and aunt, Ropana S. Sena, life long resident of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2001 after a brief illness at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Roman and Beatriz Sena and is survived by her sisters, Tomasita Gonzales of Albuquerque, Esther Griego and Dolores Gamboa of Downey, California; a brother, Nestor G. Sena of Albuquerque; a special sister-in-law, Merlinda Sena; and many loving nephews and nieces. Miss Sena was preceded in death by brothers, Claude Sena and Roman O. Sena and by sister, Adelina Sena Lopez. Visitation and viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2001 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Sandia, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. Shows -- Edna F. Shows, 88, born August 12, 1912 in Arkansas, lived in Albuquerque and died in Clovis, NM on January 7, 2001 after a long stay in Plain Memorial Hospital due to a dog scratch on her right arm. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara F. Swindle of Ottawa Lake, MI and Beverly F. Douglas of Albuquerque, NM. Edna was a long time resident of Alamogordo, NM. She owned Edna's Beauty Shop on 9th St. Her husband, James M. Shows was employed at White Sands Proving Grounds. James preceded Edna in death ten years ago. Edna was laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park with James. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.

Worden -- Mildred Ginther Worden, 83, a resident of Albuquerque for 43 years reluctantly passed from this life on February 7, 2001. She is survived by husband, Oren; daughter and best friend, Ann Roche; sister, Evelyn Sage of Loveland, CO; aunt, Helen Scholand of Hilton, NY; and several cousins. She was born in Adams Basin, NY and graduated from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY with a B.A. and a M.Ed. She was active in the Republican party for many years, was a Board member and Officer of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra for six years, and for many years was a member and Board Officer of the League of Women Voters. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Women's Golf Association of Four Hills Country Club and ABCL Bridge Club. She enjoyed golf and bridge, not just for the sport, but for her many delightful partners. Cremation has taken place and a Private Burial Service will be held at Garland Rural Cemetery, Garland, NY. Young -- S. Beatrice (Bea) Young. March 10, 1928 - February 6, 2001. Survived by husband of 53 years, C. Bennett (Ben) Young; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Virginia Preston of Wayne, NE; children, Preston and Penny Young of DeSoto, Kansas, Anna and Michael Judernatz of Omaha, NE, Angie and Ed Buckspan of Broken Arrow, OK and Charles and Lisa Young of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Derby and Morgan Young, Jeremy and Daniel Judernatz, David and Allen Buckspan, and Megan Morong. She was loved and admired by all she met and knew. After moving to Los Lunas, NM from Omaha, NE in 1985, Bea became involved in activities at Monte Vista Christian Church and was always involved in the choir. Bea and Ben also danced every Friday with the Bosque Cuadrillas Square Dance Club in Belen and attended many square dance festivals and conventions. She had many talents with fabrics and her favorite, late in life, was spinning wool into many colored yarns. She would always finish up with her own creations of woven and knitted articles of scarves and clothing. She will be truly missed but always loved by her family and many friends. A Memorial Service is scheduled Sunday, February 11, 2001, 3:00 p.m. at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Monte Vista Memorial Fund or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
