Brown -- Jerry Lloyd Brown, age 47, a resident of Tijeras, passed away on Friday August 11, 2000. He is survived by his wife Jodi Brown, daughter; Laura Leigh Brown, son; Dakota Lee Brown, mother; Dee Brown Talbert and step father Judd, brothers; Don Brown Jr. and Ken Brown and wife Joanne, sisters; Lola Holmberg, Jodi and husband Mark Lynam, step sister; Lisa Makow and family, brother-in-law; Mark Frazee and wife Terri, Chris Frazee and wife Linda, sister-in-law; Karen Frazier and husband Jerry, and mother and father-in-law; Norma and Joe Frazee. Jerry is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews and a special Aunt Carol Delloiacono. He was preceded in death by his father; Don D. Brown and brother; Gary Lee Brown. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the following people: UNMH Medical ICU, EMT's, Dusty, Toni, Tonya, Tate, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Pearson, Liz Ash, Wade (DCI), Dr. Bednarz (St. Joseph West Mesa ER), Kevin Maines, April Roper, Mark, Lisa, Lilly, and Laura. Cardenas -- Mario Cardenas, 60, beloved husband and father, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 10, 2000. He is survived by his wife Viola Lopez Cardenas of the family home. A granddaughter, Stacy Coronel and husband Felipe, great grandsons Patrick and Christian Coronel of Albq., NM. Four daughters: Anna Valles of Albq., NM, Dolores Torres and Liza Romero, both of Las Vegas, NV. And Jackie Torres and husband Robert of Albq. NM. A grandson, JoeRay Ortiz and wife Roxanne of Mountainair, NM. A brother Santos Cardenas of Del Rey, CA. He is also survived by many other loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. We will always love and remember his dedication to our family and his many friends."Te vamos a extrenar mucho." Visitations will be held on Monday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the San Jose Parish (2400 Broadway Blvd SE), A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00pm. Cloak -- Mary Helen Cloak, 77, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, died peacefully on Friday August 11th. Born in Washington D.C., she graduated from UNM with a degree in Business Administration, and was a member of the University Heritage Club. Mary Helen, a 58 year resident of Albuquerque, was a devout Catholic and actively involved with Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, the Friendship Force, and AARP. Mary Helen was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Dunphy and John Cloak. She is survived by her daughter, Carole Rigg from Scottsdale, AZ; and two sons, Steve Dunphy and John Cloak, both from Albuquerque. She is also survived by her brother, Lindsey Green; eight grandchildren; a nephew; two nieces; and several great-nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be said at Fitzgerald & Son, 3113 Carlisle NE, at 7:00 p.m., Sunday. Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Francis Eggert on Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

Cordell -- Mildred"Mid" Cordell, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, a godly woman, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, died Thursday, August 10, 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Cordell Harrington and husband, Rob of Plano, TX, Gretchen Cordell Wilson and husband, Shelby A. of Bloomington, IN and Pat Cordell Love of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Robin Harrington Brady and husband, Scott of Meridian, TX, Ginger Harrington Ellis and husband, Kirby of Kingwood, TX, William Cordell Harrington and wife, Christy of Garland, TX, Suzan Harrington Zakrzewski and husband, Devin of San Antonio, TX, Valerie Wilson Boado and husband, Mike of the Philipines, Bonnie Wilson Neuhouser and husband, Phil of Leo, IN, Nancy Wilson Gapter of Longmont, CO and Tricia Love Dailey and husband, John of Albuquerque; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cordell was preceded in death by her husband, W. H."Bill" Cordell; brother, Frank Hildebrand; and a great-granddaughter, Judith Dailey. Mrs. Cordell was born on October 26, 1908 to Rodney A. and Sarah J. (Spencer) Woodin in Anderson, IN. She graduated from Indiana University in 1930. Mrs Cordell was a retired teacher from Sunset Mesa School. She had been a longtime active member of First Baptist Church. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Dennis Lihte officiating. Frost -- Patricia J. Frost, 59, a resident of Moriarty, NM passed away Sunday, August 13, 2000 at her home after a long illness. She was born to Paul and Katherine (Ketchum) Lantz, June 18, 1941 in Leslie, MI. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Paul and Katie Lantz, brother, Ray, sisters, Margaret and Carla. She met James W. Frost in Dansville, MI and married him August 3, 1975. He survives her of the home. They moved to New Mexico in 1981. Pat was co-owner with Jim of Frost Feeds and Western Store in Estancia. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Moriarty, NM. A member of the New Mexico Buckskin Horse Association, NM Quarter Horse Association, Long time 4-H girls softball coach. She was a member of a very musical family. She was a friend to everyone and helped countless people in need and was famous for her hospitality to everyone. She was loved by all who knew her and has gone to be with her Lord in heaven whom she loved very much. She was a unique and very special lady. Also surviving her are their children, sons, Jerry Miller of Leslie, MI, Randy Frost and wife, Betty of Plover, MI, Roger Frost and wife, Jody of Fowlerville, WI; daughters, Susan Aldrich and husband, Michael of Moriarty, NM and Michelle Frost of Moriarty, NM, Susan Bloom and husband, Paul of South Lyons, MI, Connie Frost of Bellville, MI; also surviving are her brothers, Gordon E. Lantz and wife, Barb, and Norman C. Lantz and wife, Helen; her sisters, Doris Plese and husband, Matt, Barbara Thomas and husband, Bill; 15 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Moriarty, NM on Tuesday, August 15, 2000, 10:30 a.m. with Dr. ken Long officiating. She will lie in state at the Frost family home Monday, August 14, 2000, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Louie Guenther, Jim Rathbun, Justin Forni, Paul Switzer, Rex Graham, Michael Aldrich and Francis Ludington. Honorary pallbearers will be Nim Scott, Johnnie Frances, Lowell Lydic, Frank Frost, Mac McCord, Rick Brittain and Ramon Saiz. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Dansville, NM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Store House in Moriarty or Liberty Ranch School in Estancia, NM. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.

Harrison -- Bobby Ray Harrison, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, born August 27, 1926, in Loveland, TX., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, went to be with the Lord, August 11, 2000. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Bobby served in WWII in the Army and Navy. He worked for Neon Signs for many years. was an electrician by trade, he loved nature and animals, hunting and fishing were his favorite hobbies. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret Ann Harrison; son, John Harrison and wife, Juanita of Green River, WY; daughter, Bobbie Kerns and husband, Wayne; daughter, Lelia Ausbun and Terry Hileman all of Albuquerque; daughter, Bonnie Barrera and husband, Mike of Aztec, NM; daughter, Darla Ramsey and husband, Grady; daughter, Janalie Bright all of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Dawn Lopez and husband, Joey of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sons-in-laws, Bud Lewis and Paul Ausbun, Jr.; dear friend, George Thomas; twin sister, Bonnie Windsor of AZ; sisters, Mildred Bingham of Farmington, and Betty Henson and husband, Albert of UT; brother, Bert Harrison and wife, Beverly of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jaramillo -- Ms. Barbara M. Jaramillo, 52, a resident of Isleta, NM passed away on August 12, 2000 at home with her loved ones at her side. Barbara is survived by three sisters, Mary Rose Lilly, Mary Margaret Schall and Dolores Graham; one brother, Glenn Jaramillo and wife, Mary; thirty-six nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Barbara was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday evening in the family home in Isleta, NM after 4:30 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Father Nick Nirschl. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Augustine Church in Isleta, NM by Father Nick Nirschl. Interment will follow in the Isleta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Schall, Michael Schall, Robert Lilly Jr., Richard Lilly, Michael Lilly, Roger Lilly, Curtis Jaramillo and Mary L. Schall. Koehl -- Beloved Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Rose M. Koehl, age 82, passed away August 11, 2000. Mrs. Koehl was born in Kelley, New Mexico and was a lifelong Albuquerque resident. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Koehl and son Lewis Koehl. Mrs. Koehl was a member of Queen of angels Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She is survived by sons Kenneth F. Koehl Sr. and wife Nancy, Candido Garcia and wife Theresa; daughters Bobbette H. Griego and husband Pat, Hazel A. Baca and husband Archie; eight gandsons; eight granddaughters; and forty seven great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Lucero -- Frank Lucero, beloved father, husband, brother and friend to many, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2000. He was born on January 29, 1943. He is survived by his wife, Erlinda Lucero; and two sons, Francisco Lucero and fiance, Melissa Martinez, and Steven Lucero, all of Albuquerque; four sisters, Priscilla Lujan and husband, Toby, Mary Lou Gonzales and Tito Sandoval, Doris Mora, Libby Martinez and husband, Gene; four brothers, Bobby Lucero, Henry Lucero And wife, Rose, Tony Lucero and wife, Andrea, Michael Lucero and wife, Lila. He also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews, and numerous relatives and friends. Many loyal and devoted relatives and friends stood by his side during his lengthy illness. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at San Felipe de Neri Church, 2005 N, Plaza NW. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Monday, at San Felipe de Neri Church. A Burial will Follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Francisco Lucero, Steven Lucero, Andy Tafoya, Andy Tafoya Jr., Bobby Tafoya, and Joseph Tafoya. Madrid -- Luis Madrid 70, a resident of Bernalillo, passed away August 12, 2000. He is survived by his two daughters, Rita Rinaldi and husband, Garry, and Laura Jorgensen and husband, Shane; one son Luis A. Madrid and wife, Crucita. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Rico, Rebecca, and Gino Rinaldi, Chris, Luis, and Erik Jorgansen, and Justin, Jordan, and Joshua Madrid. Mr. Madrid was born March 15, 1930 in La Ventana, NM to Desiderio and Feliz Madrid. He served our country in the US Army retired as a Sergeant First Class, he was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and the D.A.V. Mr. Madrid worked at the American Legion Department Service office where he continued helping many veterans. Friends may visit Tuesday Afternoon from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. also in the Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, time and place to be announced. Ramirez -- Dominic Eugene Ramirez, 19, beloved son, brother, grandson and nephew walked into the arms of our Lord Jesus, Wednesday, August 9, 2000. Dominic was born on November 3, 1980 in Albuquerque; he was a parishioner of San Felipe Catholic Church. Dominic as preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Casimiro D. and Maria M. Ramirez. He is survived by his loving mother Denise Moreno of the family home; his father, Freddie L. Ramirez and wife Monica; two brothers, Freddie M. Ramirez Jr., Roger Ramirez; and one sister Crucita J. Ramirez. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Josephine Baca and husband Tom; and his maternal grandfather Dennis O'Brian; and a host of friends. Dominic will be greatly missed by his loving family and those who knew and loved him. Visitations will be this evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Another Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. also in the chapel. Williams -- Bertha Mahree Conley Barnhart Williams, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1924, died Wednesday, August 9, 2000. Bertha was born on December 23, 1906 near Custer City, OK. She grew up and attended school in Melrose, NM from 1909 to 1924. Bertha then moved to Albuquerque to attend business college and subsequently worked with Brown Brothers Food Brokerage and Murdock Food Brokerage until 1956. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was especially dedicated to the Visitation Ministry. If wealth were measured by the regard in which one is held by other people, Bertha would be the richest woman in New Mexico. She is survived by five nephews; four nieces; 28 grandnephews and grandnieces, whom she referred to as her"kids"; and many, many special friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond O. Barnhart and E. Roy Williams; her parents; four brothers; four nephews and three nieces. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School NE, with Pastor Larry A. Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
