Bowen -- Joy A. Bowen, 68, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away Thursday, March 9, 2000. She is survived by her four daughters, Joy Ann Merker of Arvado, CO, Brenda Hardy of Albuquerque, Sondra Harbaugh and husband, Scott of Albuquerque, Stephanie Dohrmann and husband, Jerry of Castro Valley, CA; two sons, Kevin Bowen and wife, Sara of Albuquerque and Patrick Bowen; nine grandchildren; one sister, Karene Krauel and husband, Herman Krauel; three brothers, Jim Flowers, Emmett Flowers and Tom Flowers. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed. Campbell -- Ruth Aylene Campbell, a resident of Albuquerque since 1931, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 11, 2000 following a short illness. She is survived by her son, Robert"Bob" Campbell and wife, Kay of Albuquerque; daughter, Joyce Harris and husband, Willie, of Placitas; seven grandchildren, Sean Campbell and wife, Leanne, Shannon Usiak and husband, Wayne, Cortney Campbell, Colin Campbell and wife, Lil, Lauren Gleason and husband, Mark, Chad Harris and wife, Aleta and Wendy Harada and husband, Mark. Ruth leaves 14 great-grandchildren, Rhiannon, Jordyn, Chelsea, Colton, Jesse, Kristin, Eden, Ryan, Christopher, Holly, Kyle, Tyler, Jordan and Brandon; several nieces, nephews; other relatives and many, many friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles Clifford Campbell. Ruth was born in Perrin, TX. She married Cliff Campbell in July, 1930. They moved to Albuquerque in 1931. She retired from Albuquerque Lumber in 1958. She was a charter member of Fruit Avenue Baptist Church where she was active for sixty-five years. She belonged to the Good Sam Club, Palo Duro Senior Center, Bear Canyon Senior Center, Highland Senior Center and Los Volcanoes Senior Center. She had been a resident at Carestone Assisted Living since 1998 where she remained active until recently and will be remembered by her friends there for the little prayer rocks she gave to everyone. She was known as the"can lady" for collecting aluminum cans for"Dogs for the Deaf" and was awarded the"Golden Halo Plaque" in 1993 from the New Mexico Good Sam Club for her outstanding work. Her family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Carestone and Lovelace Hospice for their extraordinary care, love and compassion as they helped her leave this earthly life peacefully and with dignity. Services will be held at French Mortuary, University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Monday, 2:00 p.m., with Chaplain Paul T. Gleason officiating. Cordova -- Richard G. Cordova, 27, a resident of Alameda, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2000. He was a member of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Parish and he worked as a carpenter for Albuquerque Drywall. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Elena. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Amadita; brothers, John and Gerald; sister, Valerie; grandparents, Ray and Eva Cordova, and Valentine Sanchez; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rosary will be held at Alameda Mortuary, Sunday and Monday, at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Parish at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Juan Montoya, Celebrant. Darrell -- Robert"Bob" Darrell, age 73, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Thursday, March 9, 2000. He is survived by his son, Dave Darrell and wife, Michelle of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Kailei Reanne of Albuquerque; grandson, Joshua Robert of Albuquerque; sister, Irene Bird of Seattle, WA; and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in 1996. He was a loving father and grandfather (Paka). He was also an accomplished pilot. He was in the United States Air Force, as a military policeman and served during three wars, retiring after 20 years. Presently he held the rank of Corp. Sgt. Major in the Salvation Army. He was a good Christian, he loved his Lord very much and served him well. Davis -- Wendell E. Davis, age 92, a long time employee of Sandia Corporation and a resident of Albuquerque since 1942, passed away on 3-10-00. He is survived by two sons, O.J. Davis and Allen Davis and wife, Ruth; two sisters, Inez Wallace and husband Leonard, and June Miller; four grandchildren, Cindy Houghton and husband, Richard, Buffy Bruskas and husband, Bill, Chris Davis and wife, Christine, and Lori Davis; five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Stephanie and Mallory Bruskas, and Alexandria and Andrew Houghton. Dickerson -- Julius Paul (Tiny) Dickerson, 71, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died Thursday, March 9, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Paula Sue Ralston and husband, Thomas of Albuquerque; step-son, James Milton Higgins of California; grandchildren, Jeannette Kay Stanich and husband, Zion and Ginger Louise Brown, all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Terry Isaac Brown, Thomas Isaiah Brown, Tyler Israel Brown, Ralston Keith Stanich, all of Albuquerque; and sister-in-law, Leona Dickerson of Forney, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Elaine Dickerson, son, Joseph Michael Dickerson; and daughter, Linda Kae Dickerson. Mr. Dickerson was a longtime member of Central Assembly of God and he was most recently attending Bethel Heritage Church. He formerly managed the Diamond Shamrock service station at Louisiana and Trumbull and later owned and operated Tiny's Automotive. Franchini -- Oreste J."Rusty" Franchini, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, 83, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, March 10, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Peckinpaugh and husband, Dennis; granddaughter, Michele Peckinpaugh and Anthony Velarde, all of Albuquerque; grandson, David Peckinpaugh and wife, Maureen Tansey of St. Johnsbury, VT; sister, Jeanette Devoti and husband, Frank; sister-in-law, Mickey Franchini, all of Albuquerque and several nieces, nephews and special friends. Mr. Franchini was preceded in death 14 days prior by his wife, Rose D. Franchini; and brothers, Frank Franchini and Remo Franchini; and parents, Ovidio and Argia Franchini. He was formerly a co-owner of Franchini Brothers Delicatessen and Catering at Lomas and University, which was treasured by family, friends and patrons for many decades. Mr. Franchini was a WWII Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was in the European Theatre and was a Sgt. Major in a Combat Engineer Battalion. Mr. Franchini was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was also a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society; Knights of Columbus; Elks Lodge; UNM alumni where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity; and ItalAmer Men's Club. Martinez -- Mela Martinez, age 86, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque died on Saturday, March 11, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jose A.C. Martinez; sons, Crescencio Martinez and wife, Lydia; Rueben Martinez and wife, Maggie of Albuquerque; Flavio Martinez and wife, Delores of Rush City, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Joseph A. Duran of Albuquerque. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Martinez was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Mrs. Montano is preceded in death by her mother, Abran Trujillo and three son's, Sammy, Rudy, and Joseph. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Montano; and one son, Oswald Gonzales. Also surviving are one brother, Celez; one sister, Marie Padilla; a god child, Sylvia Griego; seven grandchildren, Henry Gonzales, Corina Gonzales, David Gonzales, Nadine Gonzales, Joey Lopez, Rudy Gonzales Jr., Paul Gonzales, and extended family members, Vincent Sena, Geraldine Sena, Heather Sena and Samual Sena. Navarro -- Emilia V. Navarro, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, died Friday, March 10, 2000, on her 97th birthday. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and many close friends who will greatly miss her love and generosity. Emilia was preceded in death by her husband, J.J. Navarro in 1986. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church. Richards -- Kent Richards, 58, passed away suddenly in Tucson, Arizona on Thursday, March 9, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggy; sons, Troy (Katarina) Richards and Trace (Monica, grandchildren, Vanessa and Eric) Richards of Tucson; daughter, Tara Richards of Dallas; parents, Rick and Berna Richards of Albuquerque; sister, Janet (Ron, niece, Tamara and nephew, Trevin) Janser of Albuquerque; mother-in-law, Dorothy Donato of Bullhead City, AZ; and brother-in-law, Carl (Nancy) Donato of Scottsdale, AZ; as well as numerous other relatives. Retired since 1996, Kent and Peggy traveled in a RV searching for golf sites and spending their extra time in Angel Fire and Tucson. He impacted many children in Albuquerque through his involvement with sports, including YAFL and Roadrunner Little League. This"gentle-giant" spread love and generosity to his grandchildren and family for years. Kent will remain an inspiration to his family and friends, and will be loved and missed forever. Kent was cremated in Tucson and memorial services will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy NE, in Albuquerque, on Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. At the families' request, all memorial donations may be made in Kent's name to the Arizona's Children Foundation, 2700 S. 8th Street, Tucson, AZ 85713.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Queen of Peace Chapel, 1420 San Pedro NE. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dr. Joseph M. Dungan III, Vincent Gregg Dungan, John Mark Dungan, David Miller and Mathew Dungan. Honorary pallbearers will be J.M. Dungan Jr., Brian Dungan, and Rudy Miller. Senasack -- Florence Senasack, 79, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 10 years, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2000. Florence was born May 15, 1920 in Newcastle, Maine the daughter of Frank Haines and Eva Lizzie Hammond. Florence came to New Mexico from Florida. She was married to Leroy A. Senasack in South Paris, Maine on December 22, 1945. Leroy preceded her in death in 1982. Florence was a graduate of Paris High School, Paris, Maine, 1939, graduate of Maryland Institute of Art, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. She had worked for the Maine Unemployment Association in Augusta, ME; elected to Central Maryland Health System Agency, Baltimore, MD for five and one half years; Florence had also been a Girl Scout Leader. Florence is survived by two children, David Leroy Senasack and wife, Beverly of Rio Rancho, Linda Florence Senasack of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren, Stephanie Capri Senasack of Albuquerque, Edward D.J. Senasack, Amber Joy Senasack, Audrey Lynn Senasack all of Rio Rancho. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Rev. Tim Neustifter and Rev. Mark Conkling officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Rio Rancho United Methodist Church Foundation, Capital Improvement, Rio Rancho United Methodist Church, P.O. Van Dusen -- Beatrice Julia"Bee" Van Dusen, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1993, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Roy R. Van Dusen Jr.; a brother, Leonard Strauss of Chicopee, Mass.; and two nieces and a nephew, including Susan Collins of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by son, Lt. Roy R. Van Dusen III. Bee was born in New York City and grew up in White Plains, New York, where she graduated from high school in 1937. In World War II, she served in the Women's Army Corps at Ft. Benning, Georgia, where she was married in 1945. She traveled widely with her Army officer husband, living in Taiwan, Germany and Hong King. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland when she lived in Columbia, Maryland in 1978. Services were private, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assn.

Vigil -- Mrs. Virginia Vigil died Friday in Albuquerque at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her husband, Filiberto Vigil; brother, Delfinio Martinez; sister, Augustina Martinez; parents, Petrita and Alfredo Martinez; son, Joe Vigil; and daughter, Mary Vigil. Mrs. Vigil is survived by her son, Santos Vigil; daughter, Crucita Gallegos; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Memorial Services for Mrs. Vigil will be held on Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Father Rodriguez. Inurement will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Memorial Rosary was held on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.

Williams -- Cora B. Williams, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away March 9, 2000. She is survived by her son, Otis N. Williams and wife, Marjorie Jean Williams of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great grandchildren all of Albuquerque; two nephews of Texas; one nephew of Chicago, IL; and one niece of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams; son, Harvey Eugene (Duke) Williams; and grandson, Ronald Craig (Rudy).
