Bartlett -- Luemma"Mickey" Bartlett, 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Tuesday, October 12, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Merwyn Wade Oliphant of Kansas City, MO and William Ralph Oliphant and wife, Frances of Conroe, TX; step-daughters, Bea Bartlett and Dorothy Mitchell and husband, Jerry; step-son, John Henry Bartlett, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Teri Montgomery, Jason Oliphant, JerreDee Fitzpatrick and husband, John, Ronnie Mitchell and wife, Sherri, Diane Buchanan, and Linda Chavez and husband, Dave; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bartlett retired from the Albuquerque Job Corps. after 22 years. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #401. Private family services will be held. Bernal -- Alberto Bernal, age 70, died October 13, at his home in Albuquerque. He was born on February 9, 1929 in Tenaja. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque and a former resident of Maxwell where he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He is survived by his sisters, Elena Bernal, Virginia Kelly and Teresina Jean, all of Albuquerque, Viola Castillo and husband, Luciano of Palo Blanco; brothers, Antonio Daniel Bernal and wife, Nora of Los Lunas, Juan De Dios Bernal and wife, Lala of Springer; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The Rosary will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Maxwell. The Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Father C. John Brasher as the celebrant. Arrangements for Alberto Bernal are under the direction of Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton.

Bosley -- Lottie M. Bosley, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Friday, October 15, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Findley Gazaway and wife, Barbara of Bakersfield, CA, Ed Hourigan and wife, Judy of Chico, CA, Marvin Hourigan and wife, Erlinda of Albuquerque, and Darwin Hourigan and wife, Ann of Jemez Springs; daughters, Fern McNabb and husband, Earl and Ann Scott and husband, Orville all of Bakersfield, CA; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bosley, Sr. She was very active raising children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. Braumann -- Mr. William J. Braumann, 73, a resident of Los Lunas, New Mexico passed away on October 12, 1999. Mr. Braumann is the beloved husband of 30 years to Mrs. Grace Braumann. He is also survived by one son, William Lance Braumann Sr.; one grandson, William Lance Braumann Jr. and several loving relatives and friends. Mr. Braumann was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II and the Korean War. Brooks -- A memorial service was held on Friday, October 15, 1999 in Albuquerque to celebrate the life of Clyde W. Brooks who died suddenly on Monday, October 11, 1999 at the age of 88. Reared in Trinidad, CO, he rose above childhood adversity to become an exemplary employee, citizen, friend, husband and father. Clyde retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1974. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie E. Brooks; four sons; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, whose lives were enriched by his intellect, kindness, generosity and humor. He will be missed by all who knew him. Hanna -- William A."Bill" Hanna, 76, of Albuquerque, formerly of Scottsdale, AZ, died Monday, October 4, 1999. Bill was a retired Chief Warrant Officer with the Air Force. He was born in New Haven, CT and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was also an active member of the Four Hills Country Club. Bill is survived by his wife, Sylvia; daughter, Michelle; son, Michael; four grandchildren; and sister, Joan Williamson of Jupiter, FL. Isenhower -- Harold William Isenhower, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness, Wednesday, October 13, 1999, to be with other veterans who served their country honorably. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Frances Isenhower of the family home; daughter, Phyllis A. Barker and husband, Michael; son, William H. Isenhower, all of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Teresa Feyerabend and husband, Greg; grandson, Jason Barker; three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremiah and Julia Feyerabend; four sisters, Kate Riley, June Steed and husband, Bill, Joyce Walker and Nettie Studdard, all of Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Isenhower was born on June 9, 1921 in Sullivan, MO. He served in the Asiatic Theater during WWII. Mr. Isenhower was a Bataan Prisoner of War and a recipient of the Purple Heart Medal and many other medals. He was a member of the American X-Prisoners of War, D.A.V., V.F.W. Post 401 and Defenders of Bataan & Corregidor. Mr. Isenhower founded the V.A.M.C. Radio Station at the V.A. Hospital and was also a member of the Albuquerque Amateur Radio Club. He had 20 1/2 years of Federal Service with the U.S. Navy and the F.A.A., working as a radioman and radar electronics technician. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 11:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Chaplain Lemuel M. Boyles officiating. Jaramillo -- Mr. Jose Louis Jaramillo, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 15, 1999. Mr. Jaramillo is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Carmen; three daughters, Anna Marie Herrera and husband, Carlos, Carmen Lou Martinez and husband, Bobby and Martha Jaramillo; two sons, Allen J. Jaramillo and wife, Kathy and Jimmy F. Jaramillo and wife, Irene; one sister, Annie Leonard; one brother, Johnny Jaramillo and wife, Ramona; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Mr. Jaramillo was a member of the Catholic Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII, and retired from A.P.S. after 25 years. He enjoyed a variety of wood working, and arts and crafts. Jones -- J. Paul Jones, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, October 15, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucille O. Jones of Albuquerque; daughters, Paula Margo Jones of Albuquerque, and Yolanda Dawn Jones King and husband, Gary of Moriarty; granddaughter, Tami Traub; grandson, Jonathan Jones, both of Albuquerque; sister, Jewel Stephenson of Visalia, CA; brother, Jack Jones of Durant, OK; brother, Billy Joe Jones of Santa Ana, TX; brother, Sterling Jones of Oklahoma City, OK; and brother, Forrest Jones of Granby, MO. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Barton Jones and granddaughter, Caitlyn Briana King. Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Navy for over 26 years. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Club and VFW. Mr. Jones was very active in the Senior Olympics throughout New Mexico and many other states where he won many awards in various track and field events. He was a member of the Eastern Hills Baptist Church and he was very active with the Democratic Party in Albuquerque for a number of years. Martinez -- Paula Martinez, 45, a beloved and devoted daughter, sister, and auntie went to walk with the Lord, on Saturday, October 16, 1999. Merbler -- Leo Merbler passed away Tuesday, October 12, 1999. He was born March 6, 1925 in Clifton, NJ. Mr. Merbler served in the Army during WWII, where he was stationed in Hawaii and served in Okinawa. Mr. and Mrs. Merbler moved to Albuquerque from Albany, NY in 1950, and were well known for many years as the owners and operators of Crown T.V. He was a pioneer in the field of electronics, and was the first person in the state of New Mexico to repair color TV. He also taught TV repair at vocational schools. He traveled around the state to repair electronic equipment, including for the Weather Service and the repeater station at Mount Taylor. After retirement, he and his wife, Alice, traveled extensively, visiting every state in the United States, except Alaska, and spent their winters at Lake Havasu City, AZ. In addition to his beloved wife, Alice Merbler of the family home, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tom Hatfield of Portland, OR; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Roni Merbler of Albuquerque; step-son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Sue Nichols of Grand Rapids, MN; step-daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Chuck Nelson of Tijeras; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Nichols of Madison, WS. Also surviving are ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are pending. Mileshosky -- Edward R."Whitey"passed away Wednesday, October 13 after a brief illness. Pajunen -- Louise Carson Pajunen, 84, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away October 14, 1999. She was a resident of Albuquerque from 1938 to 1991 and Sun City, AZ from 1992 until 1999. She recently had moved to Farmington to be near her family, Judy and Jerry Neely. Louise was born in Vernon, Texas in 1915. The family later moved to Kingman, AZ. She received a degree in Education from Arizona State Teachers College in Flagstaff in 1937. She married Eino Pajunen in 1938 and moved to Albuquerque. She was a stay at home mom, loved to garden, play bridge, do ceramics, and watercolor. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Eino. She is survived by a son, Victor Pajunen and his wife, Rose of Albuquerque; a daughter, Judy Neely and husband, Jerry of Farmington; three grandchildren, Becky Surmeier and husband, John of Folsom, CA, Maria Banning and husband, Denny of Albuquerque, and Marc Neely and wife, Kathy of Englewood, CO. Louise has seven great-grandchildren, Neely, Mason, Abby, Cassidy, Callum, Josie Mae and Shelby. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 1999, at the Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, in Albuquerque. Rickert -- Beatrice P. Rickert, beloved and cherished mother and grandmother, the brightest star in the family, left this life October 2, 1999. She was born on Constitution Day, September 17, 1910 in Houston, TX to Constantine and Mary Legate Pierros. After graduating from high school in Houston, she accompanied her parents to Mercedes in the Rio Grande Valley before enrolling at the Lady of the Lake College in San Antonio, TX, Class of 1932. Vivacious and popular, she was class president her two years there and also taught swimming and diving. An accomplished pianist, she had her own radio show at KPRC in Houston during the summers. She was also associated for years with the Sherwood Conservatory of Music in Chicago. During the depression, she left college to become the sole support of her parents, working as a legal secretary at the Federal Land Bank for Sam Houston Johnson, the brother of the future president. On May 2, 1935 she married the love of her life, Edward J. Rickert with whom she had four children and 56 years of extraordinary happiness. Because of frequent asthmatic attacks, she moved with her family to New Mexico in 1940. During World War II while her husband served in the U.S. Navy, she and the children returned to Houston where she worked in secretarial positions in the private sector. After World War II, the family returned to New Mexico where she worked at Cannon Air Force Base and was the organist at St. James Episcopal Church in Clovis. She and her family later moved to Carlsbad where she worked in both the private and public sectors. Shortly after the family moved to Albuquerque in the mid 1960's, she was severely injured in a fall at the Federal Aviation Administration, where she was employed. After 15 years of rehabilitation, she was able to walk unassisted, drive, cook, and care for her family. Since her husband's death in 1991, she lived with her daughters, first in Santa Fe and in recent years at the family home in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, John; brothers, John and Ralston Carmaneti; and sister, Clarice Norsworthy. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Marr and Bea Bevell of Albuquerque; son, Edward and wife, Donna of Columbia, SC; grandsons, Bryan and fiance, Christine Esckilsen of San Diego, CA, Bret of San Francisco, CA, Stephen and Rick of Kansas City, MO, Stuart and wife, Kelly of Frisco, TX, Michael and wife, Cathy of Enid, OK, Bruce and wife, Phyllis of McKinney, TX, and Adrian and Jeff of Birmingham, AL; great-granddaughters, Katy Bea, Whitney, Megan and Nicole. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Monday, October 18, 1999, 1:30 p.m. at St. Mark's on the Mesa Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Pl. NE. Robertson -- Jane Turley Robertson, 77, passed away at home October 16, 1999. She was born in Colonia, Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico. Jane retired after 30 years at Sandia National Laboratories, and was a member of Bernalillo Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jack Ronald Robertson, and daughter, Betty Jane Francom. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Eldridge; son, John Donald Robertson; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Turley, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be at Bernalillo Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 325 Avenida de Bernalillo (South Exit) on Tuesday, October 19, 1999 with a viewing at 9:00 a.m., and services at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Storey -- Tod N. Storey, 30 years of age, a resident of Pecos, New Mexico, passed away on October 15, 1999. Tod worked for the New Mexico Game and Fish Department where he was involved in the Bernardo Wildlife Refuge, W.S. Huey Waterfowl Area, 7 Rivers Waterfowl Area, and Lisboa Springs Fish Hatchery projects. He is survived by his wife, Felicia Storey and his son, Tanner and daughter, Qye Storey; his mother, Jeanette March and her husband, Joe; his father, Kenneth Storey; his sisters, Kenna Storey and her son, Whit Storey; and Rena Storey and her son, Calahan Storey. There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 17, 1999 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be on Monday, October 18, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home. Strelow -- A Memorial service for Hazel Strelow will be held on October 23 at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio NE, at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Strelow died on September 24 at the age of 91. Hazel was born on September 12, 1908 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. She married Clarence Strelow in Morenci, Arizona on June 29, 1929. She was a graduate of Arizona State University at Tempe. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1936, where Hazel worked as a substitute teacher before becoming a real estate agent. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and five sisters. She is survived by her son, Robert of Oakridge, OR; two granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters. Private interment was held at Sunset Memorial Mausoleum. The family suggests donations to Alzheimer research, in lieu of flowers.

Torres -- Adelina"Lena" C. Torres, 88, a resident of Albuquerque for 80 years, passed away Saturday, October 16, 1999. Lena was preceded in passing by her loving and devoted husband, Pete S. Torres; her youngest daughter, Gloria"Corky" Torres and her first grandson, Michael M. Meek. She is survived by her daughter, Frances C. Meek, who was devoted to her care and comfort in her final days and her son-in-law, James E. Meek, who was like a son to her. Lena received great enjoyment in her grandchildren, Ronald P. Meek, Christina Meek Davis, and husband, Tom, and Andrew F. Meek. She was a devoted"Nana" to her great-grandchildren, Sara E. Davis, Lisa M. Davis, and Lindsey C. Meek. Lena was a devout Catholic and a faithful parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church for over 65 years. She had a strong devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary and the rosary."Nana, thank you for your constant devotion and good example to your family, They don't make 'em like you anymore-We will always love you". Rosary will be recited on Monday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Manuel Montoya reciting. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Ave NW, with Father Richard McGowan, S.J., celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary cemetery where Mrs. Torres will be laid to rest with her husband, daughter, and grandson for all eternity. Pallbearers will be Hugo Bernadette, George Jaramillo, Albert Vallejos, Louis A. Apodaca, Cy Long, and Judge Joseph Alarid. The readings will be by Dolores Vallejos. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
