Aragon -- Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Rose Aragon were held on Friday at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where the Mass was celebrated by Fr. Joel Garner. Burial took place at the Mt. Baca -- HENRY ANDREW BACA June 3, 1941 - September 27, 1999 Former Albuquerque resident, Henry Andrew Baca, 58, died September 27, 1999, at the V.A. Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado of natural causes. He was born June 3, 1941 to Leo Z. and Ida Baca in LaJunta, Colorado, where he spent his childhood and attended school. Mr. Baca enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gold panning and traveling. He worked in construction most of his life. Survivors include his daughter, Clorinda Baca; former wife, Angie Baca; mother, Ida M. Baca; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Linda Baca, Pete and Rose Baca and Leo and Verna Baca; nieces and nephews, Pamela, Patrick, Jennifer, Katherine, Heather, Earl and Aaron Baca; grandnieces and nephews; aunt and uncle, Betty and Eddie Chavez and family; and aunt, Mercedes Madrid. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Z. Baca. A graveside service will be Monday at the V.A. Cemetery in Fort Logan, CO.

Badgett -- Robert H. Badgett, 68, died Tuesday, September 28, 1999, after a lengthy fight with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Christina Badgett of Albuquerque; sons, Lon Badgett and wife, Maria of Austin, TX, Bret Badgett and wife, Carol of Los Lunas, NM; daughters, Ann Badgett of Tucson, AZ and Ameka Mobley and husband, Mike of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren, Walter Badgett and Richard Badgett, both of Austin, TX; Jeremy Badgett and Samantha, both of Los Lunas, NM, and Kyra Mobley of Amarillo, TX; sisters, Francis Allen of Maryville, TN and Martha Price of Friendsville, TN; sisters-in-law, Vera Berg of Alexandria, VA and Sharon Berg of Danville, IN; 11 nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; and his faithful dog, Omar. He was born and raised in the town of Maryville in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains of East Tennessee. After enlisting in the early years of the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Scott Force Base in Illinois where he met and married a beautiful young Airman named Christina with whom he spent the rest of his life. They traveled the world, raised a family, and finally retired in Albuquerque after a 28-year career. During his military years, he was an Independent Duty Medic, one of about 200 trained in this precursor of the Physician's Assistant Program. He later served as a Superintendent of Nursing and Professional Services. He enjoyed a subsequent career as the Assistant Director of Albuquerque Ambulance and in later years participated as a volunteer for the Red Cross. He was a graduate of Maryville High School and he held a Bachelor degree from the University of Albuquerque and a Master's degree from Webster University. He instilled a keen love of learning in his children and set a continual example of dedication, public service, and Christian fellowship in his professional and private life. He served as the lay leader for a small group of Lutheran families stationed in Libya in the early 1960's and was the kind and supportive friend of virtually everyone who ever knew him. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Sunday, October 3, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at Faith in Christ Lutheran Church, 1750 Faith Court at the corner of Chelwood and Indian School Rd. NE, with Rev. Roger Wohletz officiating. Brazie -- Arland F. Brazie, Lt. Col. (Ret.), USAF, 84, an Albuquerque resident since 1951, died Wednesday, September 29, 1999. Mr. Brazie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ardyth Brazie of the family home; and a sister, Natalie Seaman of Florida. He was retired from the US Air Force in 1963 after 26 years of service. He was a pilot during WWII and also was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Lt. Col. Brazie was commissioned in the USAF as a pilot in 1943 and he flew 25 B-17 missions from England against Germany. He was a C-54 Pilot on the Berlin Airlift in 1948, and later commanded an Air Station in Japan during the Korean War. He served with the Air Reserve and Development Command in the late 50's at Kirtland AFB, Baltimore, MD, and Cape Canaveral, FL, from where he flew C-54's and C-121's, Down Range Missile Areas. Returning to KAFB, he was on a staff of the AF Special Weapons Center until he retired. His decorations included the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Legion of Merit. He was a graduate of St. Michael's College, now known as the University of Albuquerque. He taught in the APS system for three years, before going into private business. He was a member of the Didalians Society, and the Quite Birdman. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 4, 1999, at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles, Col. (Ret.), USAF, officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full Military Honors by the New Mexico Honor Guard. D'amour -- Chris Paul D'Amour, 41, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away on Sunday, September 26th at UCLA Medical Center. He is survived by his two children, Leo and Melodie. Other surviving family members include his parents, Leo and Cecelia D'Amour of Albuquerque; his sister, Louise and husband, Larry Turner; brother, Greg and wife, Melanie; brother, Ralph and wife, June; and brother, Ronald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Kyle, Brent, Renee, Kelly, Cory, Vanessa, Dustin and Shane. A Rosary will be held on Friday, October 1st at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass, in celebration of his life, will be held on Saturday, October 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Both services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church (corner of Morningside and Lomas NE, Alb.) Deerinwater -- Mary K. (Weigel) Deerinwater passed away Saturday, September 25, 1999. She was born March 22, 1949 to William E. and Dorothy R. Weigel. Her husband, George E. Deerinwater; her father, William E. Weigel of Sedona, AZ; her brother, Dr. William L. Weigel and wife, Miko of Silverdale, WA; and her step-sons, Jeffery Deerinwater and Ryan Deerinwater of Albuquerque, survive her. Her special friends, Karen, Cara and Anna also survive her. Mary was a pilot for PNM, UNMH Lifeguard, and Ross Aviation. She was also a student at UNM, studying computer programming. In addition to her work, Mary loved sailing, fishing and gardening. She was a great lady who touched many lives. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 2, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at a private residence, 10600 Del Rey NE. Duran -- Mr. Richard E. Duran passed away Wednesday in Albuquerque at the age of 76. Mr. Duran was a member of the Catholic Church. He was also a veteran of World War II and a member of the DAV Chapter 3. Mr. Duran is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Duran of the family home; son, Richard R. Duran and wife, Ana; daughter, Elsie Griego and husband, Tony, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Carl Duran of Turkey, Ray Joe Duran and Rudy Duran, both of Albuquerque; sisters, Lucy Leyba, Sue Romero, Jenny Castillo, Vangie Hernandez, all of Albuquerque, Carrie Luna of Los Angeles, CA, Ruth Carrillo and Dolly Duran, both of Barstow, CA; five grandchildren, Carrie Silva, David Griego, Joyce Lewis, Ceasar Duran and April Duran; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Duran will be held on Monday at the St. Therese Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Ceasar Duran, David Griego, Eugene Duran, Andres Duran, Mario A. Hernandez Jr., and Eric O. Hernandez. A Rosary for Mr. Duran will be recited on Sunday evening, 8:00 p.m., at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Humphreys -- Ted Oran Humphreys passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 1999, in Albuquerque. Born in Chillicothe, Missouri on April 10, 1933, Ted was a Korean War Veteran, who met, fell in love, and married is bride of 44 years, LaFaun Humphreys. He worked in the grocery business for 35 years before retiring. During those first 35 years, Ted and his wife had two children. Lori Humphreys Schultz, age 37, an Account Executive for New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, and Ted Oran Humphreys II, age 32, an employee for Pepsi Co. After a short retirement, Ted began a second career in the car sales industry. Ted retired a second time in 1996 and spent the rest of his days playing golf with his family, friends, and enjoying his two grandchildren, Jacob Oran Humphreys, age 7, and Garrett Kelly Humphreys, age 5. He is survived by his mother, Cleo Hadley; brother, Gene Humphreys and wife, Bea; his sister, Cindy Fortune; and Nettie Edwards, his mother-in-law. Other family members he wanted recognized are Richard and Claudia Edwards, Mary Louise Bearden, Felicia Humphreys, Kenny Pierce and Jenny Humphreys. Ingle -- Charles A. Ingle, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, died September 29, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Doris Ingle of Albuquerque; children, Rick Ingle and wife, Kristi, Cynthia Kiraly and husband, Eric, Jerryl Ingle, Ron Ingle, all of Albuquerque, Don Ingle and wife, Gloria of Liberty Hill, TX and Keith Ingle and wife, Michelle of Albuquerque; brothers, Walter Ingle and wife, Maxine of Clovis and James Ingle and wife, Alyce of Hobbs; sister, Bobby Maye Stemsrud and husband, Dennis of Las Cruces; grandsons, Jeff Kiraly and wife, Janette, Jeremy Ingle, James Ingle and Scott Ingle; granddaughters, Kariann Kiraly, Kristy Wimberly and husband, Sheldon, Jessica Ingle and Theresa Ingle; great-grandchildren, Trey Watson and Kylee Kiraly; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ingle was born on November 20, 1924 in Albuquerque. He moved to Estancia in 1933 and graduated from Estancia High School in 1942. He married Doris Jean Dodds in 1943. Mr. Ingle served his country in the Navy during World War II. He attended Eastern New Mexico University in 1948 and graduated in 1953. He taught school in California for two years until he returned to Albuquerque. He began teaching at Montgomery Elementary School in 1958 and taught there for 11 years, then transferred to Jackson Middle School, where he taught for 17 years. During his first years of teaching he was very active with A.C.T.A. In 1948 he was ordained a Deacon in the Southern Baptist Church and continued to be active in his home church. Services will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Highland Baptist Church, 417 Palomas Dr. SE, with Pastor Winfred Walker officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Rick Ingle, Jerryl Ingle, Ron Ingle, Don Ingle, Keith Ingle, Eric Kiraly and Jeff Kiraly. Tokuda -- May Miyoko Tokuda passed away on September 30 after a brief illness. May was born on August 31,1931 in Hawaii. She attended public schools in Hilo and in 1953, graduated Cum Laude from the University of Hawaii with a B.S. degree in Medical Technology. Two years later, she married Sei Tokuda and they moved to Seattle, WA then briefly to California and Vermont before settling in Albuquerque in 1966. May was deeply involved in her community through the League of Women Voters and Japanese American Citizens League. In addition, she volunteered in other community activities by being a Boy Scout den mother, Brownie troop leader, arts and crafts trainer for Girl Scout troop leaders throughout the state, elementary school room mother and Jefferson Jr. High volunteer tennis coach. She was also a volunteer at BCMHC, and was active on the South Area Advisory Council and Albuquerque Public Schools PTA. After being a homemaker for 20 years, May did graduate work in biochemistry at UNM and worked as a medical technologist at Presbyterian Hospital for 15 years before retiring in 1993. In her leisure time, she was an excellent cook, entertaining family and friends. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles and gardening. She was active in Hawks Aloft, Audubon Society and traveled extensively with naturalist and birding groups. May enjoyed watching all sporting events but her passion was playing tennis. She is survived by her husband, Sei; her sons, David (CA), and Ray (Albuquerque); and daughter, Kathleen (GA); sisters, Michi Galagac, Kay and husband, Dan Uekawa, and Jane and husband, Roy Nagata, all of Hilo, Hawaii; and sister, Ann and husband, Al Schmitz of Illinois; and brother, Tom and Faye Yoshina of Hilo; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 4, 1999, at the First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque.
