Argo -- Juanita Constance Argo became a beautiful angel on September 24, 1999. Juanita was born in Enid, OK on March 1, 1908. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard (Pete) Argo. Juanita will be deeply missed by her loving family, Bernard and wife, JoAn Argo, and Betty and Dean Kern of Albuquerque, Jim and Anna Argo, Tempe, AZ, and her eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildern. Visitation will be held Monday, 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 28, at 10:00 a.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal SE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Steven Kern, Pete Argo, Sammy Argo, Bert Argo, Jesse Argo, Gene Sanmann, and Vince Urvanejo.

Collins -- Florence B. Collins, age 96, and a resident of Albuquerque for 43 years, died Sunday in a local nursing home. Mrs. Collins is survived by one daughter, Beverly J. Henting of Minnesota; three sons, Daniel J. Collins of Albuquerque, Harry E. Collins and his wife, Marie L. of Michigan, and Robert H. Collins and his wife, Jan of Minnesota; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Collins and one son, Donald J. Collins. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Macabees. Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, September 29, 1999, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Fern Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary with Pastor Larry Pierson officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Cemetery with Daniel J. Collins, Harry E. Collins, Johnny Giere, Jimmy Collins and Don Demour serving as casket bearers.

Crumley -- Homer LeeRoy Crumley, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1940, died Friday, September 24, 1999. He his survived by his son, Roy Crumley and wife, Jo; daughter, Vada Kammerer and husband, Floyd, all of Albuquerque; stepson, Dick Fent and wife, Gail of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Gary Ross and wife, Wilma, Cheree Hitchcock, all of Albuquerque, Kathy Veta and husband, Steve of Vail, CO, Randy Fent and wife, Lynn of Springfield, MO, Brent Fent and wife, Angie and Casy Cunningham and husband, Troy all of Tulsa, OK; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Fern and Mable; and brothers, Albert Lee and Harold, all of Oklahoma. Mr. Crumley was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Helen Crumley; wife, Myrle Isbell Crumley; and great-granddaughters, Angel Garcia, and Jazzmin Johnston. He was a member of Good Sam's Club; NRA and Navarre. Mr. Crumley retired from ATSF Railway after 51 years. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Mr. Jack Sellars officiating. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum. Dellinger -- Donald L. Dellinger, 48, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, September 26, 1999. He is survived by his father, Dale Dellinger; two brothers, Dennis Dellinger and wife, Susan and David Dellinger and wife, Pam, all of Albuquerque; one nephew, Daryl; and two nieces, Jenny and Renee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Dellinger. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Doyle -- Matthew J. Doyle, born August 19, 1916, died September 25, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Verna; daughter, Mary (Cross) Missakian of Los Gatos, CA; sons, Matt (Kay) of Duluth, MN, Jim of Bellingham, WA, Tim (Christine) of Los Alamos, Dan, Tom, Mike (Patricia), and Mark (Tiffany), all of Albuquerque; and his 16 beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, James Doyle of Duluth, MN; and his sister, Agnes Mae Linn of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew Doyle and Ann Enright; and son, Patrick Doyle. Matt earned his Juris Doctor degree at Marquette University, Milwaukee, WS; served as Special Agent FBI 1941-1945; moved to Albuquerque, September 1948; and was employed with the Intelligence and Security Division, Sandia Base; in 1952 joined OSI as a Special Agent, retired as Chief, Operations Division OSI District 17, in December 1977. Matt had been an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society. A Rosary service will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday September 28, at Fitzgerald & Sons Mortuary, 3113 Carlisle NE. Finnerson -- Rodney (Rod) Dwayne Finnerson, age 31, passed away to glory Thursday, September 23, 1999. Rod was born in Los Angeles, California on May 2, 1968, soon after became a resident of Compton, California, and graduated from Luzinger High School in Compton, CA in 1986. For the past six years Rod was a resident of Albuquerque, and recently attended Freeway Trucking School, where he obtained his certified driver license; he was employed by Air Gas Co. of New Mexico. In his short, but full life Rod touched the lives of many people, and although he has passed on, he will live in our hearts forever. Rodney is survived by his mother, Carolyn Finnerson and his step-father, Louis Grand; his children, Arrion, Alisha and Lakeisha; his sister, Kimberlyn L. Finnerson; his loving significant other, Ilona Csanyi and her daughters, Demecia and Celestina; his niece, Brandy Nekia Gross; his step-brother, Ernest (Scoobie) Green; two aunts; three uncles; and a host of cousins and friends. Rod was preceded in death by his father, Jerry; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Margarette Finnerson; and his maternal grandparents, Thomas Higgins and Thelma Morris Higgins. Lock -- Kelly Eugene Lock"Kel", 36, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Sunday, September 26, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Terri Lock of Tome; children, Greg Lock of Tome, Stephanie Lock of Tome and husband, Timothy Stange of Ft. Bening, and Andy Andrews of Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Granville E. Lock in December of 1998. He is survived by his parents, Carol and Paul Schultz of Albuquerque; sister, Kim Singer; brothers, Kory Lock, David Schultz and Brandon Schultz, all of Albuquerque; sister, Barbara Jamison; brother, Franklin Lock, both of Silver City; sister, Debra Schultz of Albuquerque; aunts, Shirley Young of Mancos, CO, Zolane Green of Saratoga, WY and Dillon Lock Stone of Santa Clara, NM; nephews, Derrick Adams of Denver, CO and Justin DiGregorio of Albuquerque; niece, Victoria Schultz of Silver City; nephews, Christopher Schultz and Joshua Schultz, both of Albuquerque; and numerous cousins. Medina -- Carmen (Shortie) Medina, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, passed away September 25, 1999, after a long illness. Mrs. Medina was born in Morenci, AZ in 1921. She was a retired nurse from the V.A. Hospital. Mrs. Medina is survived by a daughter, Rose Marie Medina; two sons, Alfred (Jimmy) Medina and Danny (Dino) Medina; daughter-in-law, Jeanne; five grandchildren, Sandy Sanchez, Judy Medina, Jerry Ullom, and Jessica and Amanda Medina; two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Chelsea Sanchez. Miller -- Edna (Ted) Miller, 93, died Sunday, September 26, 1999 in Albuquerque. She had formerly resided in Taos for 52 years, moving to Albuquerque in October 1997. She is survived by her daughters, Dolores Shull and husband, Bob of San Antonio, TX and Wylene Santistevan and husband, Bill of Albuquerque; sons, Allen Taylor of Santa Fe, and David Hedrick and wife, Beth of Taos and Austin, TX; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wylie Miller. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Taos. Mrs. Miller loved gardening and she was a former member of the Taos Garden Club. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 30, 1999, 1:00 p.m., at Sierra Vista Cemetery in Taos, with Rev. John Snider officiating. Munsey -- Cone J. Munsey, Ed. D., 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1980, died Sunday, September 26, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth S. Munsey of the family home; sons, James Munsey and wife, Pamela of Seattle, WA and Thomas Munsey and wife, Christine of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica and Connor Munsey; sister-in-law, Juanita Munsey of Alamogordo; and sisters, Carlen Butler of Fremont, CA and Polly Best and husband, Delman of Plattsmouth, NE. He was preceded in death by his brother, A.B. Munsey. Dr. Munsey served in the US Army in the Pacific Theatre with the New Mexico 200th (CAAA), and was on the Bataan Death March, and a Japanese prisoner of war for 3 1/2 years. He attended Eastern New Mexico Junior College from 1938 to 1940. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of NM in 1949. Dr. Munsey received his Doctorate of Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1966. He worked with public schools in several New Mexico towns for a number of years. Dr. Munsey was the director of mental health and retardation for the State of Wyoming from 1966 to 1977. He served as Executive Vice President of Rehabilitation Enterprises of Northern Wyoming from 1977 to 1979. After retiring in 1980, he returned to Albuquerque. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NW, with The Rev. Dr. Paul Debenport and The Rev. Myron White officiating. Interment of cremains will take place Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pomeroy -- Michael Frederick Pomeroy Services have been scheduled at the Fist Baptist Church in Roswell at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 28, 1999 for Michael Frederick Pomeroy, 34, who passed away September 24th. Pastor Jim Suttle of the Calvary Chapel will officiate. The vocalist will be Robert Holcomb. There will be second service Wednesday, September 29th, 3:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Rev. Bob Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at the cemetery in Tucumcari. Mr. Pomeroy was born November 12, 1964 in Espanola, New Mexico, to H. Fred Pomeroy and Sandra Lou Roush Pomeroy. In Tucumcari, on July 18, 1997, he and Lorrie Gene Breck were married. His parents and his wife survive him. He received his B.S. degree from Taylor University and his Masters degree from Highlands University. He was Dean of Students at Goddard High School where he was loved and respected by students and faculty. He was a member of Calvary Chapel in Roswell, National Education Association in Roswell, and the NRA. Other survivors include his son, Timothy Lee Breck; daughter, Kimberly Anne Breck; sisters, Sherry Petersen and husband, Jeff, Polly Everingham and husband, Mike, Pam Burns and husband, Joel; mother-in-law, Genevieve Brown; grandparents, Vincent and Virginia Pomeroy of Centerville, PA and Donald and Leota Roush of New Haven, WV; niece, Austin Lei Everingham; and nephews, Jeremy and Joel Petersen. The pallbearers, Tuesday at Roswell, will be Jay Burson, Cody Burson, Ray Burrola, Michelle Edgett, Charlie Marley and Richard Acosta. The pallbearers, Wednesday at Tucumcari, will be Rudy Velasco Jr., Mark Benavidez, Richard Collins, Raymond Trujillo, Mike Latham and Henry Jimenez. Honorary pallbearers will be Tucumcari High School wrestling team. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ballard Funeral Home.

Varney -- Mr. Lawrence L. Varney died Sunday in Albuquerque at the age of 70. Mr. Varney was a decorated veteran, having served in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion Post 13. Mr. Varney retired from the City of Albuquerque after 20 years of service with the SunTran Bus Company. Mr. Varney is survived by his son, Donald W. Varney and wife, Ann; daughter, Debbie Maldonado and husband, Phillip; brother, Francis Varney; and two grandchildren, Phillip and Jennifer Maldonado. Funeral services for Mr. Varney will be held on Wednesday at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Visitation for Mr. Varney will be held on Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening, 7:30 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
