Howerton -- Barbara HowertonI lost my best friend this week. It's a very empty feeling to realize that I will never again hear her laughter or watch her smile. She always said,"I want friends to see me in their minds, smiling and enjoying life." I hope that all of you will do that. As you go on with the business of living, I hope that you will take a moment occasionally to stop a while and smile at a happy recollection. That would be the greatest tribute you could make. Barbara did make a difference in this world. Thank you for listening and caring.Barbara is survived by her husband, Walter, her daughter, Shelby Majors of Fort Collins, CO, and her sister, Charlotte Morford of Alva, OK.
